I can say that this product does what it claims. I feel so much cooler anywhere I reposition myself while sleeping. If your current fitted sheets slide around too much on the satiny surface of this pad, don't condemn the pad, get better sheets that have elastic around the entire edges of sheet and are correct pocket depth for your mattress. Some of the bad reviews of this product on many sites are just plain ignorance. I am buying three more as gifts for my kids, and every time they go to sleep they will be thinking of me. < 3 : )

Nice but overpriced
It’s a mattress cover that lists for $300. Stearns and Foster was running a promotion of a $200 credit with the mattress purchase. The store associate was kind enough to give us this mattress cover in lieu of the credit but no way would I pay $200 for a mattress cover, let alone $300. It’s a nice mattress cover but…….

BEDGEAR VerTex Mattress pad is TERRIBLE--DON'T BUY
So I bought this expensive mattress pad because my salesman recommended it. It is terrible. The sheets slide around it because the material is so slippery. I wake up with sheets off the corners and sliding in and out of bed. I do NOT recommend this product for well over $200. I notified the company as well as the retailer (PC Richards) and neither did anything about it. Said I had used it... so no replacement. Of course I used it... how was I supposed to test it out.
