For example, setting a start time. I would like to set the start time to say 10.15 pm to take advantage of lower power costs at that time. I like the simple drain cleaning system.

Saw this unit at Lowe's; decided it had all the features I was looking for. Having the controls facing at an up angle makes pressing the correct buttons much easier. If the buttons face directly forward, it's hard to see which button to press. Also made sure the soap dispenser actually opened when full of dishes. (yes, some washers prevent the soap dispenser from fully opening when full of dishes. bad design!)

Performs just as i hoped
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 15 year old dishwasher ( Kenmore) died.a shopping we did go! I wanted a trye black sishwasher to match my kitchen. True black is difficult to find. So, we purchased this Bosch, a brand i have never purchased before. My hubby installed the dishwasher in 4 hours. Unfortunately it couldn't be hardwired so an outlet needed to be installed. Then the water intake didn't match the quick connect, so a trip to the hardware. Then the drain didn't match...another trip to the hardware. The metal securing bracket wouldn't work with my countertop. A trip to the garage for a work around.
After 15 years alot has changed. But, he got the dishwasher installed.
It connected to my home wifi without any problems. The dishwasher cleans great! Easy to use remotely. Tracks water and electric usage. The filter is easy to reach and clean. Although the rack tines require different orientation, I'm not so old as to not learn new tricks! Bosch has very helpful You Tube videos.
After a month of use, I can truel say I am impressed with this dishwasher!!

After being convinced that we should be using one to be more efficient with our water usage I consented. I asked our plumber which brand he would recommend and he said he could tell us which ones they removed more often (competitor brands) and then replaced them with a Bosch. So, we bought a Bosch. We were blown away at how fantastic it cleans our dishes. We've "tested" it with a wide variety of challenges and have yet to find something that didn't come out squeaky clean. My spouse brags about the dishwasher to everyone who comes to our house and has to show them the sparkling glasses. We especially love that we can sanitize the beer bottles prior to brewing and the canning jars prior to canning. Congratulations to the Bosch team of experts who developed such a remarkable home use product. Best dishwasher we have ever experienced or owned. In an era where shortcuts are taken to maximize profit over performance, this is a honey of a homemaker's dream, and we are more than happy with it; we are in love with our dishwasher and not afraid to "come clean about it" to any and all who will listen.
