Bosch 300 Series Dishwasher Installation
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher works as expected, its very quiet and efficient at cleaning everything we've thrown at it; its a great addition to our kitchen. The only negative comments I have pertain to the installation and components included with the dishwasher. Surprisingly the store where we bought the dishwasher could not tell me if the dishwasher came with a power cord or if I needed anything else, but I bought a power cord just in case, but then had to return it as the dishwasher did have one included. As it relates to the electrical connection, Bosch should have included its junction box as standard, as many older dishwashers had direct wiring from the breaker panel to a connection on the dishwasher itself. Bosch’s connection method required another trip to the hardware store to buy an appropriate junction method; a bit frustrating. And as it relates to installation, two gripes: 1.) Pictures of the actual dishwasher, its hoses & wiring connections and attachment to the cabinetry would have been more valuable than the rudimentary drawings provided. Line drawings may be useful for certain items, but not for an expensive dishwasher. 2.) The method used to attach the dishwasher to side cabinets seems very flimsy and poorly thought out and here’s where the line drawings made matters more confusing than they should have. I gave the dishwasher itself five stars, but instructions & included components could use more effort & attention on the part of Bosch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Dishes, utensils, pots & pans look better than new after a trip in our new Bosch 300. I'm still learning to load it properly to fit as much in as possible. I'm getting better all the time. The only downside is I have a hard time seeing the functions. Use a flashlight. And, the soap pellet cup cover is a bit tricky to close and snap shut.

The racks took some getting used to, but now that I have them figured out, it is crazy how much this dishwasher holds!

I love the silverware tray at the top, and have found that it also is a good place to put small measuring cups, etc. The only thing that I might quibble with is that it seems to use a LOT of rinse aid.

The electric company had a ground wire go bad and unfortunately it fried several of our appliances which included our beloved dishwasher. So we immediately got another Bosch without a second thought. Best dishwasher we've ever had! If the 13 year old Bosch hadn't been destroyed by the electric company who knows how much longer we would have had it.

Great Early Results
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After a Kenmore we used for 24 years died because of no replacement parts being available, we researched all the brands and found this Bosch on sale. Great reviews seem to have been justified by what we have seen so far. It's VERY quiet, uses a lot less water and cleans the dishes very efficiently and thoroughly. The middle rack is adjustable and this feature really does come in handy. We've learned to use the top rack for silverware cleaning. Putting the pieces in the slots allows for efficient cleaning and easy removal without stabbing yourself on the tines of the forks.
Now if it just lasts as long as the previuos dishweasher ....

One item that we are wondering about is the light that comes on when the dishwasher is finished because it does not stay on until it is opened. We start it at 11pm and in the morning the light has turned off. It would be better if it stayed on until opened. Also, it would be nice if it had a delay switch.
