Quiet and Clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great dishwasher. It has multiple options for how to load it, and because of that it offers a large capacity for pots & pans as well as every day dishes. It doesn't use a heating element to dry, so if you need to put plastic items on the bottom rack you can. There is a third rack where you can put your utensils, if you need more space on the bottom, but there is also a utensil tray you can put on the bottom rack, if you prefer.
This dishwasher also does a fantastic job of cleaning, and the controls are easy to use. Lastly, it's so quiet you almost forget it is even running. This is the best dishwasher I've ever had.

1st Time Bosch Owner

Last replacement we had was a kitchenaid but this 500 series was on a terrific sale at our appliance store so we gave it a chance. So happy we did! Quiet, looks very nice, and does a perfect job. The top rack is perfect for utensils and the auto cycle hasn't disappointed. Love this dishwasher!

This is our fourth purchase of a dishwasher but it is, by far, the nicest , quietest we have had. The dishes and glassware sparkles it's so clean. Third shelf is a nice feature as well. I recommend it completely!!

The Quiet One

Like the Wifi connection information and control plus all the optional available control cycles. Still figuring out the most efficient loading arrangement but there is no way fit wine glasses into the top tray. After a dinner party the bottom tray is full of dishes so where can they go? What about instead of the supplied basket, a wine glass holder, which would fit the extreme right of the bottom tray. That's an empty space so why not use it? Love the top cutlery tray. Far better than throwing all the cutlery into a basket.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bosch has an excellent reputation for dishwashers and I can see why! We comparison shopped but always kept coming back to Bosch. We considered the 300, 500, and 800, ultimately going middle-of-the-road and have been exceptionally pleased. Just two things I wish were different: 1 - That the light would change from red to green at the end of the run, and 2 - that it wouldn't spray you if you open the door while it's running...though that's probably my fault. :)

Bosch Dishwasher's are the Best

I love the 3rd rack for the ease of loading and unloading silverware. I love that the middle rack is adjustable when needed. I recently shopped other 3rd rack brands and to me, their 3rd racks had flaws in their designs.

WOW!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old dishwasher came with our home and we had it repaired several times after we moved in. It was finally time to replace it and we chose Bosch because of the company's reputation for quality and endurance based on Consumer Reports. The dishwasher matches our other appliances and looks very stylish in our kitchen. Installation was quick and efficient. We noticed immediately that our dishes, glassware, and silverware seemed to be cleaner and actually sparkled. We are still playing with arrangements which work best for us in placing kitchenware for washing, but we are using the top tray for miscellaneous silver and moving various spindles on the other levels to accomodate the sizes of our dinnerware. We did save the silverware baskets from our old dishwasher and are using them in the new one as the Bosch silverware baskets did not hold much. We are pleased with how easy it is to choose a setting and how quietly it runs. The red light on the floor is a real help in knowing whether it is on. We are very pleased with this excellent product.

Better than expected!

I also love that I can put plastic items anywhere since there is no exposed heating element. It's so versatile with the adjustable racks. I just can't say enough - it's better than I imagined.

Worth it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have a large kitchen that came with all brand new GE appliances however the dishwashers just never stepped up....we got pretty used to washing all dishes before putting in. If ANY food was left on the dish it was still on after the wash. We kept putting off replacing because of the cost but we finally decided to go with Bosch and even though we paid $2000 for 2 it was worth every penny. Love the 3 racks, efficiency in loading and cleaning and also luv how quiet the washer is....thank you Bosch!

It also uses very little rinse-aid.
I wish it had some way to to indicate the wash is complete.

Excellent performance

Dishes are completely dry in the morning (Auto Air - Door opening is superb).The pocket handle quality is not as good, feels cheap. But my kitchen is small and I need all the space I can get. In the store, the pull handle felt sturdier, making the dishwasher feel of better quality.

What a relief: Effective, solid, quiet.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had two problematic dishwashers recently and finally consulted consumer reports and landed on buying this one. I'm very pleased with it overall. It's incredibly quiet, cleans the dishes well, and the interface is simple to understand. I'm enjoying using a third rack, which is new to me, although it sacrifices a little bit of height in the middle rack. The regular silverware tray is pretty small and I miss having a bin to put small things like container lids. Overall, though, it's the best dishwasher I've ever had.

It’s everything it’s cracked up to be
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I finally bought a Bosch dishwasher and yes, it's wonderful. I like the top rack that I can fill it with quite a bit of utensils. The middle rack, as with all of the racks, moves effortlessly. The bottom rack is arranged, so quite a few dishes and bowls can be accommodated. I like the fact that it doesn't have a heating element so plastic can be put on any rack. The utensil container I thought at first was too small, but I found that with its design it prevents the nesting of spoons. Great feature! And of course it cleans perfectly. The best part is the Bosch feature of quietness. I mean, really quiet! I can actually have a conversation while the dishwasher is running I'm so happy I invested in a Bosch.

It was incredibly loud, didn't clean well and the plastic covering on the racks was rapidly detoriating. The BOSCH 500 series dishwasher is WAY better in every way and then some. SO quiet that if it wasn't for the little red light that comes on when it starts, I wouldn't know if it was on. Dishes come out perfectly spotless. And the extra rack at the top for utensils and lids is genius. So far...loving this appliance and recommend this brand strongly.

Quiet and cleans well
This dishwasher is quiet and it cleans everything well. We like the top silverware rack and the adjustable racks are nice. Also like the auto air feature for drying the dishes. We have only had the dishwasher for a couple of months so hope it is durable, but we are pleased with the dishwasher so far.
