This Baby Really Cooks!!

It works flawlessly and has definitely updated our kitchen with it's classic look and great easy to use functions. Looks on par with other range options that were priced significantly higher. Also, love the porcelain finish of the cooktop rather than typical stainless steel. Clean up is much easier and no worries about noticable scratches. Would highly recommend.

It's near impossible to clean the food and grease that splashes into it without removing it. It can only be removed via pulling out the range to access the screws underneath.

Great gas range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are looking for a solid gas range with none of the fancy complicated technology requiring app downloads and weeks of learning that soon will be forgotten and re-learning required, this is the stove of choice. It has just on and off buttons, a light switch, and a fan switch. Perfect gas range for me, and it works great. Couldn't be happier with this choice, and I can cook anything I want without having to use my smartphone. I was very happy to see that this range with just the simplest functions was avaialable in a name brand. Great idea by Bosch to still stick to the basics and offer a solid simple gas range.

Love this stove!
Love this stove! 2 things I would change tho...make legs a stainless steal not plastic and put oven temperature on digital read out but these are not the reason you should not consider this stove. Temperature dial works perfect but if you need to see the temperature hang a thermometer inside. The legs are heavy plastic so just don't move the stove a lot. You won't regret buying this stove!

My dream stove
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I first saw this range about 1 and 1/2 years ago. I liked it because it had legs. I like to be able to clean under my stove. I carried a picture of it on my phone dreaming of the day I could buy it.
I finally got it and I love it. The oven cooks so much faster because of the circulation fan. The range type is easy to clean because of the interlocking grids. I am very pleased with every feature of the stove. It was well worth the wait and cost to get it.

Great Commercial Style Range
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this range when upgrading my new home. I'm a former F&B Director and had a 48" Viking range in my last home. The first thing to know is that commercial ranges are of a simpler design than your average inexpensive home range. They have fewer bells and whistles that serious cooks don't need or use. They concentrate on actual cooking performance. I have found this Bosch range to perform quite well. To address some issues I've read in the reviews I would make the following points.
The electrical plug does protrude some, but I just bought a short, heavy duty extension with a flush outlet for the wall. Simple fix. As for oven temperature, it's true that the unit does not have a digital temp display. Neither will your commercial hotel oven. In any event, a professional chef wouldn't trust it. The purchase of an inexpensive, quality oven thermometer is a much better idea, and that cures this complaint. It won't take long before you instinctively know exactly where to set the dial!
I have not had any noise issues with the convection fan.
It's a bit tricky to get the burners low enough for a simmer, but the use of a burner plate, which should be used anyway, takes care of that problem. The burner caps need to be placed on the correct burners for them to light and stay lit properly. If you put the small burner cap on a larger burner it will not light or stay lit. Simple fix.
Pushing in the knobs for 2 seconds before turning the knob becomes second nature quickly and then the oven and burners light every time. This seems to me to be a good safety feature to avoid accidental lighting.
With these points in mind I think you'll find this range is an excellent mid-range priced, professional style unit that serves it's purpose very well indeed. And for much less cost than a Viking or Wolf.

Bought first professional range for my wife, she is a grate cook. The range blended well to our new kitchen.
We have to get used to turn the gas, it is different from traditional ranges , press then turn, but we getting there.
Lobabe adjustable height of the range , we both are tall.
Double burner is great, no need to move boiling pot to the smaller burner.
The timer is a bit weird to adjust, but we are getting there.
Overall : simple , sleek and powerful range, worth every penny.

The tone that it makes when it reaches desired temp needs to be louder. I am deaf in one ear and really have to pay attention. The knobs should be marked better to let you know if it's off at quick glance. Vent on the cooktop for oven needs to be removable for cleaning. Features I wish it had are, keep warm in oven and option for bread proofing. I miss those from my old stove/oven
