This under-cabinet convertible range hood features a clean, contemporary shape to complement nearly any kitchen design. Equipped with the exclusive Broan Captur system, which combines advanced blower design with new filter technology, this 375 Max Blower CFM-rated hood provides 98.1% removal of smoke and odor to protect your home and family from airborne pollutants caused from cooking. The quiet-running Glacier is also designed with smooth flow technology, which streamlines the path of air for improved efficiency and noise reduction. Tap Touch electronic controls operate the 3 fan speeds and advanced LED lighting system. Using the included EZ1 system, Glacier can easily be installed by one person in up to half the time of a standard install.

Satisfied with my purchase
Been using it for 4 months now in my renovated kitchen, have no complaints. (However, I did not personally install this unit, can't comment on that part). There are so many options for all appliances, I was happy to just have chosen one to be done with it. The color worked for me, and I like that it's a low-profile design (not too flashy, just minimal). Fan sound is not too high, as many others have noted in their reviews. The 2 brightness options for the light has come more in handy than I expected. And I find it very easy to clean - I use a microfiber cloth, and I don't even add cleaning product if it's just to wipe of dust or a finger print. Overall happy with my purchase.

Highly recommend this product.
I am first time purchaser of a hood. This hood is beautiful and more powerful than I expected. On the lower fan settings, I can barely hear it. The light is perfect (a little too perfect as it shows all dirt on my stove) and I use it a lot. I highly recommend this hood. I recently had an electrician come to estimate some electrical work and he walked right to the hood to see it more closely and said nice hood. I imagine he sees many in his work.

Excellent range hood
Purchased and installed the BCDF130BLS and it went in easily, good instructions, and works fantastic. The 3 speeds are a nice variable with lots of exhaust on High. 2 intensity light is perfect. The black SST is a perfect match with my new GE stove. Overall I could not be pleased any better.

Simple appearance, good performance
Installed to replace an undercabinet microwave/exhaust combo using existing venting through the roof. Installation to a frameless cabinet using the brackets provided was not difficult; took about two hours including unpacking, review, cutting/drilling holes, final attach, and turning it on. Can be done by one person, but much easier with a helper. Most difficulty was due to need to cut new holes in the cabinet since the electrical on the unit was not in the same location as the unit replaced. House electrical is in the cabinet above the unit using a three prong tail and a single use outlet (nothing else uses this outlet, but I am unsure about the wiring to the panel). Most importantly, the improvement in exhaust performance exceeded expectations. Wasn't aware of how little air the older unit was moving (rated at 300 cfm). Very quiet a lowest speed. Notably louder at highest speed but still able to hold a conversation without shouting. Unit makes an annoying clipping sound each time the speed is changed. Even at the low setting, light is much brighter than the unit it replaced. Simplistic appearance with strong performance. In use for three months with no issues.

Great product overall. The lighting is nice and bright at the 2 settings. The 3 blower speed are great high speed is loud but hey it does the job. Only complaint is that it looks crooked from one corner even though its leveled. I purchased the adapter to plug to outlet very easy install.

A robust, vital component of your home kitchen. The LED lighting is superb. The variable capacity to evacuate the volatile emissions of cooking is offered in three increments, from a hushed low setting when needs are minimum, to a kitchen clearing maximum setting when the full force of its powerful motor is needed. The style will go with any decor. Great style! Great performance! Great value!

Works great except for switches.
I really like the bright LED lights but really dislike the switches. Half the time I can't tell if they are supposed to be touch sensitive or pressure. I have to tap/press them multiple times for it to register once. Wish I had gone with real buttons or rocker switches.

Terrible light color
Love the range hood but to omit the possibility of selecting other LED light color is pretty lame. All my lights in my kitchen run Day Light (5000K) but the range hood only offers a 3000K amber light... it's ugly when lit.

Stopped working!
After initial professional installation, only the highest fan speed would work, and was loud. That issue resolved itself in a couple of days and all 3 speeds worked well and were not loud. Today (2 months after installation) it sounded like a small plane was flying low directly over the house, and then the fan stopped working entirely. Now does not work at any speed. Very disappointing.

Installation template not accurate
During installation, the provided cutout template was 3/4" off. Placed the sheet perfectly against the wall and centered it. Turns out the entire printing was off by 3/4" so now my cabinet holes are off. Thanks Broan for the poor instation instructions.
