Very easy to set up, and works like a dream.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love it. I have a hearing problem in both ears. Right ear is worse then left, but left is mabe about 40% better according to my last hearing test about 4 months ago. With this soundbar I can hear everything in left ear, and right one I can hear what is said with this new equipment much better without having to turn up TV to high for wife.

Great Acoustics, but cannot connect to LG TV.

When I hook it up to an LG 43 inch TV I bought at the same time it does not work, either with the optical cable or the USB connection.

Made a Wonderful Difference

Fantastic sound bar

Great Value and Easy Install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this to replace a high dollar surround that was 15 years old (that old unit took over 5 hours to hook up too). The sound of my LG TV is OK, I just wanted a little more sound clarity. I was so surprised that it was a plug and play item. 3 MINUTES!! YES, it took a total of 3 minutes to hook up and it sounds GREAT! The price was fantastic, for under $100 it is the best value on the market. I enjoy the compatibility of LG products, I wish everything was this easy. Thank you for making great products that are affordable and easy to install.

Excellent soundbar for it's price range.

I am hard of hearing and the TV's sound is a little weak in the lower base and volume. My wife however has no problem with the TV's sound. Wish I had her hearing. The soundbar definately improved my listening ability and enjoyment. Got it on sale at Best Buy at $69.

I have a hearing deficit which not only makes hearing difficult but being able to understand is equally as difficult. This sound bar was the answer. Can I hook this up with a subwoofer for extra bass ??
The 2 before the period for the LG - 2.0-Channel Soundbar with 40-Watt Digital Amplifier - Black, Model # SK1 means that this unit has 2 channels or two drivers and since it does not have a Subwoofer which would be indicated by the number after the period so all the audio signals including speech would be pushed out through these channels (left and right). It does not have the ability to connect to a subwoofer. ^CP

The LG 2.0 ch Compact Sound Bar with Bluetooth® Connectivity, Model # SK1 can be paired to a Bluetooth enabled TV so you can stream audio wirelessly to the Soundbar. It also has an Optical Digital Audio Input on it that can be easily connected to an Optical Digital Audio Output on TVs that have that type of port as an audio port on them. A hookup service for this unit will probably be included as part of a TV Hookup Service. Please contact P.C.
