Rated 5 out of 5 by from Electrolux Electric Induction Cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my 3rd Electrolux appliance, and they are all fantastic! This Induction Cooktop is works great and looks great! I replaced my old gas cooktop with this Induction cooktop, because it is more energy efficient, doesn’t burn fossil fuel, and is much easier to clean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it so far! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first induction cooktop, and so far we love it. The heat is SO fast and even. The clean up of this cooktop is better than another electric glass one we had. This one doesn't show as many fingerprints and smudges. Things don't stick nearly as badly because of the isolated heat on the induction burners. It's also really nice looking. Installation was super easy and fit perfectly into our existing opening from another 36" unit (non induction different brand).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Quality Cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The cooktop appears well constructed and heats our cookware quickly and evenly. I like that the cooktop would function a 49 amp circuit saying the need to re-wire our kitchen. The cooktop fit in the published cutout space and the connection cord is plenty long enough to go one cabinet away from the cooktop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from my new 36" induction cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently bought the new beautiful induction cooktop, enjoying it. The cooktop heat comes on very quick and nicely distributed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brings to a boil quickly [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It took me a bit to get used to how the cooktop functions but now that I’ve had it a couple weeks I love it. I previously had another brand induction and I find this comes to a boil faster and has a better design for use of space.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dave Christensen [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had an infrared cooktop that failed after 30 years. Rick with quality appliance in Farmington, NM. Found the induction top by Electrolux. It’s awesome. Heats my tea kettel in around one minute. Cooks very evenly with my alclad cookware. I couldn’t ask for a better top

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Awesome [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love the way the Electrolux 36" cooktop looks and works. It looks absolutely awesome on white countertops, but would work well with any color. It also works amazingly well. We did a comparison test boiling water on our old gas cooktop versus this one. The Electrolux 36" induction cooktop smoked the old gas burner. A remarkable 4 times faster to a full boil. The cleanup is also so easy comparatively. We are blown away and so glad we made the switch from gas to electric. And we are equally glad we chose this cooktop. Thanks for a great product Electrolux.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent cooktop! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cooks evenly, bridge feature comes in handy with larger skillets. Smooth surface and easy controls. Need to be aware of the auto lock feature every time you turn it on. Also the auto shut off when spills occur is a nice safety feature. Truly enjoy this cooktop!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 21st Cooking [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you are redoing your kitchen or want a simple cooktop upgrade I highly recommend the Electrolux all induction cooktop. This sleek knob free cooktop is gorgeous with its aluminum perimeter. The precision cooking of induction at your fingerprints with the speed when necessary, for example, boiling a cup of hot water faster than a microwave.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sophisticated & Simple [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this cooktop I was blown away. This cooktop not only has a sleek design its also easy to operate. The cooktop heats quick, distributes heat to cookware evenly, resulting in great food. On a scale of 1 to 5 I rate this cooktop at a 10+. Just amazing!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Super fast, and really sleek [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We initially purchased this model because it was one of the few available (I know, not the best rationale). It’s amazing! This is my first time working with induction, and the speed at which it heats up is crazy! The stove is easy to use, and clean. It’s modern look really adds to our kitchen esthetic. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Upgraded from Gas to this Excellent mag induction [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this incredible magnetic Induction cooktop for about 3 months and we couldn't be more ecstatic about it.. it is so much quicker to heat up and cook with and also more adjustable than the gas was. Not to mention how many hours are saved in cleaning spills compared to the gas cooktop.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Owned Electrolux for 20 years [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned a gas range top and wall oven for 20 years and missed them now that we moved from that house. I am building a new house an will certainly use Electrolux but I am in Costa Rica and hopefully I can ship these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Induction cooking...it is the future! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a designer, I have specified many types of appliances over the past twenty years, and this product lives up to its promise of being so clean, sleek, and easy to prepare meals. Induction cooking delivers a quicker start up and cool down and is a time saver for todays busy families that are always on the go. This cooktop is safer because it cannot be accidently turned on and the surface stays cool to the touch. I highly recommend the Electrolux 36" Induction Cooktop and will refer all my clients to this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] WE have installed this cooktop a couple of weeks ago and love it! This intelligent appliance is very easy to use and it looks very sleek and modern. It heats up and cooks food much faster than our previous one. Very useful features are Power Slide there use can set a different temperature for the two burners and just slide prepared food to keep it warm or cook on the lower setting. Keep in mind that this is an induction cooktop and will work only with induction ready cookware (steel, cast iron or anything else magnetic). Overall I highly recommend it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We replaced an old cooktop with this one. We love this new one! The controls are easy to use and the alert for the cooktop being on isn’t too loud. Our previous unit was very annoying with alerts. The cooktop also looks great!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleek, modern and cooks like a dream! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We could not be happier with our new cooktop: it looks fantastic in our modern kitchen and the new features are awesome...I love that two of the burners can be combined for a griddle or for other larger items. It feels like these new induction cooktops are dialed in properly so you can cook at the same speed/temp as gas without worrying about things cooking too quickly. I'm really glad we went with induction.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Induction Cooktop! Love it! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with this induction cooktop! I have had 2 previous induction cooktops and this one is far superior then the previous brands I owned. It is very sleek, easy to use, and shows you which burner you are cooking on. It allows you to slide with a touch of your fingertip to lower and raise the temperature, instead of constantly tapping up or down like my previous top. It locks which is a great safety feature, especially for little children. It is also sealed around the sides which makes cleaning so much easier. No crumbs get under the sides of the top. The top cleans very easily as well. I added a short video so you can see how quickly it heats. It does light up and show which burner is hot, but induction cooktops don't stay scalding hot like traditional cooktops do. I highly recommend this appliance.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Enjoying our induction cooktop from electrolux [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It heats quickly and easy to clean. My only disappointment is the timer is difficult to set.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from new home [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As part of a home purchase we installed this cooktop. We really like the size, different sized burners, and lighted knobs which give us the ability to see at a glance which burners are on. Overall, the cooktop is easy to clean and parts are easily removed for cleaning. One concern is the outer bright metalic ring on each burner is not easy to clean (it is easy to remove). it is difficult to keep looking new.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This cooktop is very responsive when changing temperatures. It heats up quickly and maintains an even temperature. Once you unlock it, the controls are easy to use. Love the feature that shows you which control to use, based on placement of the pan. It looks beautiful and is easy to clean. My concern is with the size of the cooking areas. The heating area for “large” pans is actually quite small. If I use a 12” All Clad sauté pan the heat is very concentrated in a small area. When I turn up the heat level the center burns while food at the edges of the pan barely cooks. I’ve used these pans on other cooktops and this does not happen. It’s almost impossible to use the smallest burner while using a large pan next to it. A different layout of the heating elements would be an improvement. The larger burners, even on high, don’t seem to get as hot as my old electric cooktop. Making French fries the old fashioned way seems to take forever. If you take a pan off the heat for a few seconds the unit turns off which is a good safety feature, but, you have to wait about a minute to unlock it again to continue cooking. I’ve cooked for many years on a regular electric cooktop so I am still learning the ins and outs of induction. I haven’t received my electric bill since I’ve started using it, I’m hoping there won’t be a big surprise.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very Efficient Cooktop! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This stove is very efficient and heats extremely quickly! The controls are easy to use and there is a clear display for hot burners. The only negative is the humming noise ours makes when on higher settings, but it is certainly worth it for the speed with which it cooks our food!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from 2nd Electrolux Induction Cooktop [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our first Electrolux induction cooktop was my favorite part of a large kitchen remodel in 2008. It was model e36ic80iss1 & troublefree until late 2021. Unfortunately, repair parts weren't available without a long delay & we wanted to minimize our time without a cooktop. There are many other brands & models available, but when I found an Electrolux that appeared equivalent to our prior unit, that made the purchase decision easy. The new induction cooktop is model ecci3668as. It was a drop in replacement for our prior cooktop, and is slightly less deep than the prior. The controls for the elements are very responsive & easy to use. Unfortunately, I can't think of any other advantages above our prior Electrolux induction cooktop. The things that we feel are significant weaknesses of this new model ecci3668as are: 1) The biggest issue we see is with the heating elements themselves. As tested with flour in pans & an IR thermometer, the heating elements are apparently smaller than our prior. Using the same pans, we find hot spots in the center and very cool temperatures more than 3inches from the center of any pan. I'm used to having to preheat a pan for less than 3min, now it takes over 7min and I still see a strong temperature gradient from the center to the edge of the pan. 2) Another significant shortcoming is that the center of the actual heating elements does not align with the center of the indication on the visible glass surface; offsets are inconsenstent on each burner 3) The timer in the cooktop was a feature I really loved on our prior unit, but the controls make this one almost unuseable. The timer in this cooktop is almost useless. It is easy to turn-on, but almost impossible to set & turns itself off quickly. It's very frustrating and in 4weeks I think I've managed to actually set the timer on fewer than 4 occasions. Once it's set, I've never been able to add or subtract any time to adjust. Turning it off & hoping to set a new time are the only apparent options. 4) The cooktop itself has a more shiny finish and shows any mess much more clearly as a result. The very glossy finish also makes it difficult to see the location of the controls. 5) The cooling fans are much more audible than the previous model. (We placed the new cooktop in the same location with no modifications at all from our prior cooktop, so this fan noise assessment is not affected by any physical environment changes.) The old one's fans might have not been active enough, but the difference here is noticeable by visitors sitting 8feet away from the cooktop. My conclusion is that based on our observations we can't recommend the ecci3668as cooktop to friends. I hope it lasts a long time, but we're having a difficult time adjusting to to smaller than expected heating elements & their offsets from indicated locations along with the very frustrating built-in timer. This cooktop does not seem to merit its premium price. If you've got an older Electrolux induction cooktop, wait for repair parts rather than replacing it with a newer model. I've never posted a negative review on a product before. I design & test very high-end electronic equipment. The issues I'm expressing are not those of a technophobe. I'm disappointed with the quality & performance of this purchase & hope my observations might improve Electrolux products in the future and prevent other customers' frustration.
