Very comfortable and the remote works great. Only downside is the remote is attached to the bed which is a little annoying. Mine isn't.

We have a bed frame set up with non-conventional ground support than spans the entire left-right length underneath the bed frame. So our chief concern was (1) would this base fit inside our bed frame (queen size also), and (2) whether the legs of this base would interfere with the "legs" of our bed frame. In the end, it fits perfectly. I am still playing around with the head height to give me a comfortable sleep. I found that this is only one piece of the puzzle. One other piece is the pillow... In the process to deal with my back pain, I have bought pillows of different height and plushness. The same adjusted base height with different pillows gave me different "pain" outcomes in the morning... still exploring.

PC Richards would not take it back so I sold it for a lot less money. I did buy a new mattress with this frame. So then I purchased a new standard frame and box spring and I am very happy.

Do you need to purchase a special mattress to use this frame

Most mattresses purchased today will work. Just an FYI PC Richards will not refund on the frame if you do not like it. I did not like the way the mattress did not bend with the frame.

I bought this 2years ago without a headboard. Now I am looking to get furniture and a headboard. Will this fit within the rails that I will have to get so the headboard is attached to something and then will the platform sit within the rails?
