Great freezer!

We’ve had a chest freezer for years and would have to dig for everything and couldn’t find stuff so would buy another one. It was just a mess. Right when we got this freezer it was so organized and we wondered why we didn’t get this sooner. You can see what you have and what you are running low on. It has great storage in door for frozen veggies and cheese. Love this freezer! can’t recommend it enough!

New Frigidaire Upright Freezer

We loved that freezer and brand so stayed with the same brand and the new one is slightly bigger with features we did not have in the old one. We know have a light inside the freezer when it opens, an outside light to show from far away that the freezer is running and the inside shelves are sturdier and nicer to operate. It is self defrosting and garage ready. We love it. Hope it lasts as long if not longer than the older model.

There’s even a little light under it that illuminates just enough to see that it is working /running, which is really helpful since we have had issues where the breaker would somehow get tripped and shut down the old freezer. We also had no idea when it (our old freezer) quit working -until we opened it. So that feature is really nice to have! We are very happy with this freezer- so far so great!

I had read some negative reviews about the shelves not fitting well and falling down. They obviously weren’t looking at this freezer because everything is good with it.

I like that it has a door ajar and high temp alarm. It maintains a steady temperature. I haven't had it long enough to rate durability and longevity, but if it is of the same quality of my other Fridigidare appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher and microwave) then I expect it to last me many years with trouble free service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] To make a long story short last April I had purchased an what I'll call an "off brand" Garage Ready Freezer and 2 wks before Christmas it decided to stop freezing. Trying to be a savvy customer I did some research and found Frigidaire brand is over 100 years old and owned by Electrolux. I should have saved myself money and bought this freezer with the Frigidaire label on it last April! I'm confident it will live up to the brand and the company that owns Frigidaire - Electrolux. We got it home late in the afternoon and by that evening we were able to move what hadn't thawed out into our new Frigidaire 16cu freezer. Two days later now I can open the door and everything is froze solid as it should be. The one added detail I like is it has a sound it makes if the door is left ajar and love that there's a green light lit underneath to show it has power. Thank you.

My stairs are very slightly over 27# wide, would there be any way to remove the doors or something else to make this fit the stairwell?
The delivery guys had to remove the doors to get it into my home. Be sure to remove doors first before attempting to bring in as well Cover the fridge with blankets to prevent scratches and dents.
