However from a new grandmother aspect, I find the knobs to be a safety factor with babies/toddlers that can reach them. I would prefer them up above. Other than that a solid stove, I've only had for a month, I will know more in a year.

It's lighter than our old range, but it works great. We cooked 2 turkeys, a ham, all the sides and deserts. The oven temperature appears to be very accurate as nothing was over or under cooked. The controls are easy to access and understand.

But one I got the hang of it, it’s turned out wonderful! Love the fact that the cooktop won’t turn on until it registers the pan, and clean up is a breeze! You can set the temp and not worry about it going above or below the desired results.

I’ve used more than one burner at a time even while baking and everything cooked evenly. I’m very impressed and highly recommend for anyone on a less than 1,000 budget. I ended up removing the knobs and placing them in the drawer next to the stove when I need to use an element. The bottom dish drawer is the best I ever had as well. Fits lots and lots.
