Frigidaire 30" Induction Cooktop
The Frigidaire Induction 30" Cooktop helps make cleaning easier than ever since induction heats the cooking surface and not the area around it, spills won't burn on. The cooktop also features our new TempLock technology, which maintains an even temperature the entire time you cook. Our convenient bridge element allows you to connect two elements allowing for simultaneous control, perfect for a griddle pan.

Unlike traditional electric and gas cooktops, Induction only heats the pan and the food in it, so the area around the pan stays cooler, allowing you to clean up spills and splatters while you cook.
Installation over Wall Oven Approved
Cooktops are approved for installation above any of our Frigidaire or Frigidaire Gallery Single Electric Wall Ovens.
Induction is compatible with most cookware
Most stainless steel and cast iron cookware is compatible with induction elements. An easy rule of thumb: if a magnet sticks to the bottom of the cookware, it's induction-friendly.

Exactly what we wanted.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Frididaire induction cooktop is exactly what my wife and I wanted. It was simple to install, everything fit in the original cutout for the old cooktop. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. The cooktop works great and as advertised and it is simple to use. The touch controls are nice because they are part of the glass cooktop and do not protrude above the surface and work the way you expect them to, precise without being too sensitive. Water boils in large pots in half the time it takes with electric or gas cooktops. When you turn down the temperature, it happens right now. Whatever heat setting you select is where it stays and is very controllable. Great stuff.

This cooktop is wonderful so far, heat can be controlled in a way that is very similar to the gas range we replaced. We replaced a lot of the cookware we use, although items like cast iron work fine. Our water kettle is the only pot that tends to hum as it heats, but likely because it has an irregular base. Well probably replace it. We love it so far.

Advise getting a stovetop specific cleanser as it does show fingerprints and smudges but cleans nicely. Still need more time to become a skilled induction user but much better than standard radiant electric stove

Beautiful Cooktop

This is a first time with an induction stove, so there is a little bit of a learning curve. I love the features of my cooktop. Love that this cooktop has a bridge. Watched advertisements for sale prices and bought a Frigidaire 30" model at a reasonable price. Haven't had it very long, but already like it. It has many features I like, and I have yet to identify any cons. Our existing cookware works well with this unit. Very pleased with the decision to buy.

Love our new induction cooktop!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We previously had a white glass electric cooktop, that scratched and was always needing to be cleaned. We bought a small plug in induction cooktop to make sure we would like that method of cooking. This Frigidaire cooktop is so much more efficient and takes almost no time at all to prepare meals. We did purchase silicone covers for each of the cook zones just to add additional protection to the cooktop.

Installation was fairly easy, but we were disappointed that the installation hardware for granite was not included. These days, I would think that the majority of people going induction would have some type of stone or quartz countertop.

Better than gas for heat control
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a regular conduction cooktop (red glow). I wanted to put in a gas cooktop but could not run the gas line for a reasonable cost. I 'settled' on this induction cooktop and found it far exceeded my expectations. All of the positives are true of induction and Frigidaire's implementation of this are excellent. I cannot recommend this cooktop highly enough.

Outstanding Cooktop

It certainly heats up quickly and maintains a constant temperature. The design is simple yet beautiful and enhances the look of the kitchen. Have not yet used the "bridge" to cook, but anticipate it will work as well as the individual heating elements.
