Great AC with good features!
The installation instructions could be better like a diagram of how to place the supplied foam inside the sleeve. The air conditioner works very good from the start. It's quiet and cools a room quickly. I am thankful for AC. Nice job GE!

Excellent Product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE air conditioner window unit works really well--I have no complaints whatsoever. It is very powerful for the entire upstairs of my house, which includes 2 bedrooms, an office, and a bathroom. I love having this product because I work from home and can run this unit to cool my office without needing to run the house's AC, which saves me money.
It goes very well paired with a sleeve even though the unit itself is not an eye sore to me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This GE Built In Air Conditioner does a great job cooling off my home. It has a handy LCD display to set your temperature on the face of the unit. It also comes with a remote control that is easy to use. I like that I can control the 6 different vents by angling them in any direction I need to so the whole house gets cooled evenly. I also enjoy the convenience of a removable, rinsable filter.
The unit dehumidifies the room on hot, humid summer days. The unit comes with a wall sleeve and installation kit. GE also includes a two - year warranty. One word of caution. The unit is heavy enough where a person could use a second person to help lift the AC into place.
This GE Built In Air Conditioner has done wonders for my home. It is so nice to come home to a cool, dry environment on hot summer days. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my rooms in my house, my bedroom, always gets significantly hotter than the rest of the house. Even with the central A/C running, it doesn't do anywhere near an adequate job. This was a life saver and right in time for the summer. It is a little powerhouse and after I turn it on, the temperature drops within a few minutes.
I loved the design the features that the device offered. It had a nice sleek look that was un-obtrusive to the overall room design. It offered various modes and fan speeds to get that temperature and comfort level just right.

Excellent Product!

It was fairly easy to install, I would suggest having someone there to assist. The unit kicks out plenty of cool air to sufficiently cool our first floor of the home adequately. Directions were easy to follow and set up was fairly simple.
GE has always had my trust putting out quality products and this one receives my recommendation to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an amazing window unit. It works only with the steel frame that you get for the window. It also requires a different outlet and and voltage. So make sure to check before using. We already had one in our house so it was easy to install. The unit is super quiet. It is very powerful. It can cool our top level of our house with in a matter of an hour. The unit also can be used as a heater. So being able to keep it in year round is a big plus. If your looking for a new window unit this is it.

Electronic controls allows you to set the comfort level to your preference, while a convenient temperature readout displays the set temperature. Quick cool and quick warm when you need to cool down or quickly warm up faster, use the quick/cool warm mode to speed up the fan. This GE 10,000 window mounted room air conditioner is designed to cool up to 450 sq.ft and keep large rooms comfortable. This air conditioner features three (3) different fan speeds for cooling. Six (6) way air direction evenly distribute air throughout the room. Remote control allows you to precisely control the temperature and fan speed from across the room. East to clean washable filter captures dust from the air and keep your air conditioner working efficiently. A really great product all round.
