GE Still Brings Good Things to Life!
It's been 24-hours and everything is working perfectly. It is sturdy, attractive, and quiet. I love the adjustable shelves, the lay out on the door and the big drawer on the bottom. It is not too big nor too small. I was a bit concerned about some of the negative reviews but I saw most of them were several years old and reading the product guide explained how to avoid some of the issues other reviewers experienced. I am so far very pleased with the product.

Not bulky just the right size
Love GE products. My small garage ready freezer fits near my car so it’s easy to unload groceries. It locks and has an alarm if door left open. The freezer info located on outside of front door is very helpful.

All that I wanted and more !
I love everything GE makes. I wanted a freezer garage ready and one that locks and frost free and digital info on the outside of freezer.
This is a small upright and easily moved to different locations. When my freezer was delivered and placed in the garage I wanted to move it another foot and I did it with no trouble. It does have adjustable legs because my garage wasn’t level.

You will love this
This is a really great unit. I was so done with my old unit frosting up and taking all day. This has plenty of space, is brightly lit inside. The glass shelves are so much better than the wire shelves I had in the old unit.

Great medium - size freezer
Bought freezer 2 months ago for garage. Running great, plenty of room. It was the perfect size for me . The glass shelves and baskets on door are great. So are the drawers. There is about a 1” difference in freezer height bs door height . So the height measurement stated is actually for the door height. That worked out great for me since I wanted to slide part of the unit under an overhang in garage. This gave me the extra 1” I needed. Using the measurement stated it was cutting it close. Highly recommend.

I like the sleek look of the inside. The unit is exactly as it was portrayed in the ad. Within just a short time after setting it up and plugging it in it reached the internal -2°F that we set it to quickly.
I do wish this the door were reversible so that I could make it open in the other direction.

Great freezer
We had a GE chest freezer that worked great except that it was hard to keep track of inventory as things were stacked on top of each other. Purchased this upright freezer because it had shelves and thought it would be easier to keep track of our frozen food stock. We were right it is much easier to keep track of food stuff in this freezer. Liked the fact that it is really efficient; it has glass shelfs, so stuff doesn't fall through; I don't have to bend over every time I want to get something out of the freezer; and I like the fact that it also self defrosting. We have it in the garage and it is working great. It holds the temperature, is very quiet, and seems to be one of our better purchases.

What is the depth of the door shelves and are they all the same depth?
There are 4 door shelves. The top 3 shelves are 4” out and 3” in depth. 4th or bottom door shelf is 3”x3”. I love love love my freezer. Enjoy it!!!!
