Get an extra boost of cold air with Turbo Freeze to restore the interior to set temperature for optimum food freshness. With an external electronic temperature control panel, you can easily change the temperature without opening the door and releasing cold air. This freezer comes garage-ready and has been tested to perform in environments that range from 0°F to 110°F. The audible temperature alarm alerts you if the door is left open or if the temperature rises. The lock and key allows you to protect your valuable food items from unintentional entry.

Best freezer
We love this upright freezer! It has a very tight seal and adjustable shelves along with a generous size basket in bottom of freezer. The Door Open alarm is handy as grandchildren often go out to the freezer for popsicles or ice cream treats. I appreciate the lit up temp on front of door as any time I go to get in the car or do anything in the garage it's easy to glance over and see that all is well.

Exactly what we needed.

Exceptional value purchased during a holiday sale at a big box store. Big step up from my 7 cubic foot chest freezer. Easy access to all shelves, door bins, and the bottom basket. Nice digital control on the door. Simple design. Decent warranty with option for extended warranty (which I chose to purchase). Product was packaged extremely well with sufficient styrofoam panels and corners for added protection.

I just received the 21 cu. ft. GE Upright Freezer so I cannot comment if the appliance is reliable, but it is spacious. It has an alarm if the temperature goes too high which is a nice feature. It is also self-defrosting.

This stand-up, full-size garage ready freezer is exactly what we needed! At 6.5' tall, with 21.3 cubit feet of storage space, the capacity holds weeks of frozen food, easily including a 14 lbs. turkey and a 15 lbs. standing rib roast for the upcoming holidays. The freezer's simple control panel layout, along with the frost-free and turbo freeze functions made start-up very efficient. Love the product and the GE quality!

It's been a long time since we purchased a new freezer to use in the garage. We are thrilled to have this beautiful, huge, new freezer. This unit is bigger than our old one and we're slowly restocking because we have room in this model that we didn't have before. We should be better organized now.

Solid freezer to purchase
This freezer has proven to be a valuable investment for me. It’s particularly useful bc I bake cakes as a side job, the freezer accommodates various size wedding cakes. A helpful feature is the locking mechanism, which has prevent my children from accidentally disturbing cake orders. I also like that the freezer has an alert system that emits a beeping sound if the door is left open for an extended period. One drawback I've observed is that it can be difficult to pull the door open while the compressor is running, which may require a bit of extra effort.
