Awesome Induction Range
Purchased the free-standing version of this range 10 years ago and loved it. I moved and had a house built and the builder installed an induction range from another manufacturer which was decent but not like the GE I enjoyed using. Fast forward 6 months and I ordered the slide-in/front control GE induction range and couldn't be happier with my purchase. Thank you GE for continuing to make such an awesome range!!!

Great Electric Induction Range!
I’m very glad to have replaced my old gas stovetop/oven with this modern, feature filled electric induction range because of the benefits for my health and for the environment. I’ve had it for only 2 weeks, and I’m still learning how to use all the features, but so far the induction stovetop and the oven have been great. I’m looking forward to trying out the air fryer feature, but haven’t gotten to that yet.

So happy with this stove!
This stove has so many interesting features. I can’t wait to try them all. It blends beautifully with my SS dishwasher and with the handles of my Slate GE Profile refrigerator across the room. The digital dials for the induction top allow precise settings. Connecting the stove to the app couldn’t have been easier.

Great appliance
I'm happy with my induction cooktop and all the oven features. However, this replaced an older GE and has spaces around the edges of the cooktop and looking for a trim to cover the spaces. I can't find anything on the website.

A Breakthrough in technology! How does it do that?
I love this range! I moved from gas to induction. I loved gas too but it was so hard to keep the grills and drip pans cleaned I wanted a better option. Induction top is SO EASY to keep clean. Damp cloth with Dawn gets the oils splatters and b/c the glass does not get hot, splatters do not burn onto the top. Amazing. It boils water much faster than my gas stove did, too. And it's SAFE for seniors. No flame to catch a shirt sleeve and when a pot/skillet is moved, the burner/eye automatically shuts off. Also, when you reduce the heat, it is immediate...water stops boiling immediately. Can't say enough. Also love the convection bake options. So much it will do that I don't take advantage of. Like WIFI controls if you want to turn oven on from upstairs or down the street, can preheat without waiting!!

Have wanted to go back to electric range. While familiar with electric the induction burners will be new to me. Looking forward to getting to know more. Like the raised panel for controls; being able to sync the microwave hood fan with range burners; 3 shelves in oven; large storage drawer that has self closing glides.

Best Stove/Oven Range
I had been wanting an induction range for a long time but decided to wait until we did a full kitchen remodel. After researching many models and a top rating by Wirecutter, I decided on this model. Although I haven't done a lot of cooking /baking yet due to the summer heat, I am thrilled with it so far, even just for boiling water! Even though induction cooking required a whole new set of pots and pans, I was due for new ones anyway. I am looking forward to trying the "Precision Cooking" feature as well as the oven Air Fryer. I also love the WiFi connection which notified me when the baking timer had finished. The only downside is that the front touch panel is very sensitive so that the slightest touch will turn on a burner feature. However, since the burners will not heat up without a pan on it, there is no safety issue. I can't wait to do more cooking and baking!

So happy I bought this!
After a ton of research, so happy to have made the investment in this range. It only took a few days to get used to the induction burners and I love the bridge feature on the two left burners. I love how FAST water boils and how the precision controls allow me to keep a dish at the perfect temp... whether that's a fast boil or a gentle simmer. It's super easy to clean compared to gas ranges, and I use the lock controls button so I can really clean the control panel well. Made 10 chicken drumsticks in the air fryer mode and they were fantastic.

Beautiful and Functional Upgrade
Honestly, it's exactly what we hoped it would be. We have only used it for a month now, but we have had a very positive experience. The step up from an electric element range is significant. Less heat in the cooking process, easy learning curve, nice convection oven. We took the opportunity to freshen up a few of our everyday pans with induction-friendly models, though there was not too much of that necessary. Our mid-80s house did not have a grounded electrical cable feeding the range, so we had to go with the three-prong setup. This is safe and meets code and range specs, but we plan to add a GFCI breaker just for good measure (that's probably overkill, TBH).

Fantastic stove!
My first experience with induction cooking and I am so impressed. Can’t believe how quickly water boils, how easy the stovetop is to clean, and how fast the burner responds to turning the heat up or down. It is great! Can’t believe it took me this long to discover induction cooking. The oven also has many features that I haven’t had a chance to try yet, but it bakes evenly and
quickly. Dont let the thought of new cookware stop you from buying induction- the little extra cost to find good cookware is worth it!

Finally Switched to Induction - YAY!!!!!
We just had this installed yesterday - retired a 2015 GE profile propane range to switch to induction. We've had a countertop induction cookplate for years so I was basically familiar with the technology. What I like about this range is that the range of levels is much better than on the portable unit - the low is really low. Also, I like the Warming Zone feature. We will use this to warm plates and keep cooked food warm. I hated to part with all my older professional Calphalon cookware, but they did not have the magnetic content needed to work with induction. Again, because I had an induction countertop unit, I was well prepared to buy a few pieces of new cookware to fill in for those I have to stop using. The ease of cleaning the cooktop will be a HUGE advantage over the propane range with its very heavy cast iron grates and knobs. The energy efficiency and improved temperature control is going to be awesome! I did save the racks from my old GE profile range - especially the fancy sliding rack that I loved a lot - just in case they fit - and they do! So I'm glad to have spares. I'm also looking forward to using the air fry feature as the reviews of how well it works look great. So far, the "buzz" when using has not been a problem at all. That is one of the drawbacks of induction but I can't say it is an issue so far. I am not crazy about the requirement to connect to WiFi to activate the Air Fry feature or to be connected to WiFi and use an app to use some other features but I am getting a Heston Cue pan for free as a GE promotion and may end up loving that fancy functionality! Oh yeah, the range looks positively awesome in place - better looking than the old gas range - so sleek!

Great induction range
I've had this induction range for about 1month and so far, it's been very good. I'm getting used to the induction burners and really liking them. I've always preferred gas, but didn't have the option in the home we just moved into. I've used induction before at rentals and it worked a very close second to gas for me. I prefer the ease of cleaning this cooktop to a gas range though! I'm very careful not to scratch my cooktop - I purchased some induction specific covers that I can put under my cast iron pans to protect while cooking and I also purchased a mat to keep the cooktop covered when not in used in case something accidentally drops on it to protect it (my microwave is directly above it). I do wish there were 2 larger burners instead of just one. I cook a lot and could use that second larger burner. The bridge is a nice feature - have not used it yet, but I'm sure I will. I've not used my oven a lot yet, but so far, it's worked just fine. I've yet to WiFi Connect it, so cannot comment on how easy or difficult that is. LOVE the control lock so I can easily wipe the cooktop down after each use. Love having convection - have almost always had it and never want to go without it, so this is a must for me. Overall, so far, I'm quite happy with this induction range
