Great appliance for cooks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the double oven from our builder as part of our new home package.
The design is sleek and the usability is simple. It does take a bit long to heat up.

Can’t use certain features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago and I still can’t make it connect. It is a great oven just slow to warm up and the controls are slow to respond.

Great Oven But Terrible Tech
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, the oven has performed great for its core purpose. HOWEVER, one of the big reasons I bought it was for the remote start feature. I'm often at the grocery store and wish I could pre-heat my oven from my phone. This oven has that feature, but it disables itself *every time you open the oven door.* So you have to remember to enable it before you leave. This effectively renders the feature useless because I don't remember to keep re-enabling the feature after every time I open either oven door (and everyone else in the house also forgets to reenable it after every use of the oven). That is likely the dumbest "feature" I've ever seen in any appliance from any manufacturer in my entire life. There is apparently no way in the settings to keep the remote start turned on if you open the oven door. So one of the biggest reasons for me wanting this oven was rendered moot due to terrible decision making by the tech people. This would be equivalent to the remote start on my car disabling itself every time I open the car door and forcing me to re-enable it if I want to use it later. Of course, that would be utterly moronic and it's stunning to me that no one at JennAir thought "what is even the point of offering this feature if it turns itself off after every use?" It's not even convenient to turn the feature back on: you have to hit the power button > tools > wireless features > remote start > next button > tap YES > tap SET. Even that protocol is ridiculous. Also, one of the racks was bent right out of the box. Not sure what happened, but it had to have been a pretty hard impact to bend those thick glider racks. Finally, the default setting is that you set everything (including temperature and cooking time) with digital scroll wheels that are a nightmare to use precisely. Luckily, you can change that setting to a digital number pad and unlike the remote start feature, that feature actually remains on without having to re-enable it twice a day.

Beautiful ovens, disappointing temperature control
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My ovens were installed in November, after waiting for them to come into stock for 10 months. The ovens are gorgeous, with a very sleek look. I was very disappointed for the first several months in that the ovens did not seem to hold the temperature setting. The temperature would go up and own about 50 degrees (according to the cheap oven thermometer). Had Jennair appliance guy come out who seems like he has sort of corrected the problem. At least it is better. The temperature still seems to go up and down a bit, but not nearly as much. I like to bake and so accurate temperature is important when it comes to baking. I am disappointed that I purchased what I thought to be a fairly high end, quality oven. However, I am happy that it seems to be working better now and hope it stays that way since I do not purchase extended warranties.
