44 dBA Dishwasher with FreeFlex Third Rack and LED Interior Lighting
Master the mess of making with this dishwasher's three racks of versatile loading possibilities and complete wash coverage. The FreeFlex Third Rack fits glasses, mugs, bowls, silverware and cooking tools, freeing up room below for pots, plates and mixing bowls. Advanced Clean Water Wash System circulates clean water to dishes in all three racks. LED Interior Lighting illuminates inside for easy loading and unloading.

Features

FreeFlex Third Rack
The largest third rack available has a deep, angled design that fits 6" glasses, mugs and bowls. It features rotating wash jets to clean items in the rack, a drying bar with tabs that help wick moisture off glasses and a removable utensil tray for cooking tools.

Fan-Enabled ProDry System
combines a heating element and fan for optimal drying performance. It circulates hot air around dishes after the wash cycle to give them a thorough dry. To activate, select the ProDry Option or Extended ProDry Option.

Advanced Clean Water Wash System
uses microfiltration to continuously remove food particles during the wash and rinse cycles and circulates clean water to dishes in all three racks. This allows dirty cookware and delicate glassware to be washed together in the same load.

ProWash Cycle
uses sensors to measure soil levels throughout the cycle and adapts wash time and water temperature as needed for tough messes or lighter loads, because no two meals or the dishes that result are exactly the same.

It washes extremely well and has plenty of room for all of our dishes, pots, and pans. One of our favorite features is how smoothly the racks glide in and out—such a small detail but it really adds to the overall experience. The LED interior lighting is a great touch, making it easy to see everything inside. The only downside we've noticed is the length of the wash cycles. Some of the cycles can run for up to three and a half hours, which seems a bit long. However, given how well it cleans and how quiet it is, the longer run times are a small price to pay. Overall, we're very happy with this dishwasher and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, feature-packed model!

We just replaced our old Kitchen Aid dishwasher that was only 6 years old. It had a few issues and didn't want to put more repair money into it. We've been buying this brand of appliances for years so were surprised with problems. The new one is much more spacious than the previous version. The third rack really makes a difference. We're also enjoying the inside lighting. It's pretty quiet too. I also like that unlike the old one this one does not require filter cleaning/maintenance. There are only two negatives I can think of. The top panel where the controls are located is too easy to activate an option when closing the door. It's easy to quickly hit cancel when this happens. Some of our taller wine glasses don't fit well in the designated wine glass section on the second rack.

The third rack, located at the top, provides additional space for utensils and small items, making it easier to maximize the use of interior space and avoid overcrowding the lower racks. Truly love this feature especially with a little kid in the house and lots of dirty bottles and utensils! The ProWash cycle automatically adjusts to the load’s needs, and the Clean Water Wash System, which ensures that dishes are washed with fresh water throughout the cycle are great and make it easy to use. Its also very quiet, running at around 40-45 decibels, which means it won’t disrupt conversations or activities in adjacent rooms. We replaced our Bosch and this kitchen aid is quieter! I also like the clean stainless steel looks!

When it was installed the first thing you notice is how nice the exterior is and I love the design on the bar handle. It feels very nice in your hand and has good texture. The pull out bar also gives it a much sturdier durable feel compared to other dish washers. When it is running you cannot hear it running at all. I haven’t had any issues at all with it cleaning anything. The top rack is a very nice addition to put even more items in the dish washer. I found that the top rack is great for utensils that don’t quite fit in the bottom silverware rack. I couldn’t have been more happy to receive this item to test and review. I would recommend that anyone looking for a great dishwasher to purchase this model.

First things first- setting up delivery want the easiest process, as we kept getting canceled. Eventually, everything got worked out, the dishwasher was delivered and the installers were kind, respectful and efficient. They were in and out in 40 minutes! Next I set about getting to know how to work it. The manual wasn’t the best, as it is more like a one size fits most models , so I had to figure out the features mine has. Once I figured it out, we loaded her up…all the way. This thing is a dream. There are so many different wash options. My favorite is the ProWash cycle because it senses how dirty the dishes are throughout the cycle and adjusts the wash time, temp, etc. Another feature that is great is the PrDry System because it uses heat AND fans to dry the dishes, which dries more completely that just heat. The top controls are easy to use, are hidden when the door is closed and the front of the door has an indicator light to let you know when the dishes are clean. I had to double check the first load I washed to be sure the dishwasher was on because it is SO QUIET !!! The adjustable middle shelf is also a dream and allows for taller items to be loaded and washed easily. LED interior lighting lights up the whole interior making it easier to see what you’re doing and where you’re putting things. I can’t say enough good about the KichenAid 44 DBA dishwasher. It’s a game changer for us with the amount of dishes we do. (Our old GE took forever to wash) We hope to enjoy using this for a long time to come.

Only had the dishwasher for a month. We love the LED lights and the third rack. All the racks slide so easily and the third rack allows it hold so much more. It does a great job of washing all our dishes. We mostly use the express wash but have tried the Pro Wash. We like all the little adjustable features of the rack system. We can fit a lot of different size dishes etc.. Everything is working well and expect it to continue. Our old dishwasher was a kitchen aid and it was still working fine when we had to get rid of it (15 years old).

I replaced my 304 model and got the 704 model. It works great and what a difference. The ProDry setting and the Flex Rack (3d rack) are the 2 improvements I really like. The Flex Rack provides for greater load space and helps with spacing items out more for better cleaning. The ProDry setting is very effective. Dishes, pans, and Tupperware are all dried completely. No spotting seen on any of the glasses. The KitchenAid Dishwasher, Model KDTM704KPS, is worth the purchase. I highly recommend this dishwasher for anyone wanting or needing to replace your old dishwasher.
