Put more than utensils in the Maytag 3rd Level Rack. With a specialized wash zone and room for mugs and bowls, this distinct design brings more loading space and cleaning power1 straight to the top of the dishwasher.

The PowerBlast cycle scours away stubborn foods like egg yolk, peanut butter and even dried-on oatmeal. High-pressure jets, increased water temperatures and hot steam work together to clear food off dishes---so all you have to do is load them in.

When we moved into my house the dishwasher had two draws not a door that pulls down. I hated this one as I could never put anything tall in it and wound up doing about 4 loads per day. Now with this one I don’t have to worry about anything not fitting and I only have to do one load a day. What a difference in cleaning. It does an excellent job and things no longer come out dirty like my old one. I would highly recommend this.

Old dishwasher was a whirlpool that did not even last 2 years! I have high hopes for the Maytag brand and the fact that it cost so much! But as Maytag and Whirlpool are now the same company..... Time will tell.
My dishes come out just about perfect and I LOVE the 3rd rack! The plastic ware on the second rack comes out mostly dry too! I never believed the commercials about a dishwasher being able to get baked on or non rinsed dishes clean, but the washer has so far lived up to the claim. There is a pre-rinse cycle that runs with no soap for 20 minutes that seems to be part of the answer. Just load the dinner dishes in with pots + pans and do a rinse cycle. Works surprisingly well. Then I can add more dishes the next day so I have a full load. At this writing, I am very happy.
