An upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this a month ago, and it already has been a huge improvement in my quality of life. It has a timer, so I know how long the cycle will take. It actually gets dirt off my dishes, unlike my precious dish washer.
At 50dBA, you aren't really going to notice the noises this produces unless you require dead silence.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the dishwasher about a month. So far so good! Very nice basic dishwasher that cleans well. I don't need to control my dishwasher from my phone, nor do I need more cycles than can fit on a panel :). It has a short cycle and you can control the dry time (short vs long). I mainly use auto cycle with short dry. It's actually deeper than our previous dishwasher and I really like that the top rack can accommodate larger items and gets them clean! The fingerprint resistant front is nice and it reads "Clean" on the front panel when the cycle is over, but I haven't been able to get the warranty label off yet. It's a little louder than our previous dishwasher, but not obnoxiously loud.

Extremely quiet, excellent cleaning dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Due to the heating element going out and the rinse aid dispenser failing I decided to replace my 14 year old dishwasher before Thanksgiving. After reading the reviews on multiple brands of dishwashers, I ultimately decided to go with the Maytag. My history with Maytag has been extremely mixed in the past, due to issues with my Maytag Neptune washer and dryer. but the poor reviews on the other brands helped make my decision. I do feel that the directions on the hookups could be more clear, especially on connecting the water inlet to the machine. It said to hand tighten and then to use a pair of pliers to turn an additional 1/4 to 1/2 turn but not to overly tighten. It is a metal water line connector fastening on to a plastic water valve. Definitely not a very heavy duty plastic piece, among the multiple other plastic pieces in this dishwasher motor assembly. I have installed multiple other dishwashers but this was a new level of difficulty. The electrical plug area wire was not properly extended past the stop valve, was unable to connect the wires, so had to maneuver the cord past it by an inch to attach the wires. Then following the directions to a T on attaching the water line but immediately got an error code with water leaking out as soon as I turned my water valve back on. Tightening it an additional 1/2 turn after cleaning up the leaked water. Started a load of dishes, got through the wash cycle and received another error code with water leaking again. Rinsed dishes by hand, then cleaned up the new flow of water. Then tightened it again by several turns. No new error codes or leaks for over a week. This dishwasher has done an outstanding job of cleaning the dishes, even with small amounts of food left on them when put in the dishwasher, all food has been fully washed off, without any spotting or residue left behind. Extremely quiet while going through the cycles. Love the food catcher at the bottom, very easy to remove and rinse out any small particles left behind. Lots of top rack and bottom rack room for multiple size objects. The large baking sheets can easily fit standing up in the bottom rack and most of the larger pots and pans can fit on the top rack. This is a very good thing since it does not have the adjustable top rack that my other dishwasher had. My biggest concern is the sprayer arm that is attached to the bottom of the top rack, it is silver like it is metal but not positive that it is. It is very flimsy feeling, feels like when you spin it by hand to make sure it is clearing all the dishes on the bottom rack, that it could easily come off. Does not feel that it would last over an extended period. Another negative is that the dispenser does not have a separate slot for adding the Lemonie Shine, which I always used in my other dishwasher and was recommended by a reputable repairman due to our well having hard water. I put the liquid detergent in the dispenser, close the dispenser door, then add a teaspoon or two of the Lemonie Shine on top of the closed dispenser door. Has done a decent job of drying the plastic containers with a few exceptions such as inside the crevices.

VERY QUIET, GETS DISHES CLEAN
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this Maytag to replace an existing Whirlpool that could not be repaired. Congratulations to whomever designed the packaging. This machine was very well protected and no fingernails were broken when trying to open the box. I really like the stainless interior and am hopeful that with an iron curtain and water softener, it will stand up to well water. This particular model only has 3 wash cycles and a power blast option. I specifically wanted a simplistic version as I have no need for or interest in multiple options, it just needs to get my dishes clean and sanitized. Installation was completed in less than an hour. I’m really happy that the flatware basket has individual slots and the soap and rinse aid dispensers are easy to manipulate. I wasn’t sure if it was working at first because it is so quiet! I am happy with my purchase and would not hesitate to recommend.
