However it takes a little getting used to it because it works differently than the old one, Better but different. I wish it had come with a better user manual so I could make sure I’m getting the best usage of all the features. That said I still think Maytag is the best.

Large Drum and gets it Done

Glad to have a top loader and the drum is massive. Our king sized comforter fits in with easy and washes no problem. In our old one we had to run the spin cycle twice or wash it twice and we just quit using it. Now we can bring it back out and stay warm this winter. Very happy with our purchase and will look towards Maytag in the future.

I get eczema so I need to make sure soap and softener rinses well. Also it seems like it takes more time to wash, I'm not sure if that's to make it more efficient or not

Why does the machine sound like it’s barely agitating? Seems like very little movement when it’s on the wash portion of the cycle.
I think maybe you should call a tech, I do hear my machine agitating..you should hear some motion of the clothes moving around.

How do you turn machine on?
Under the big central knob there are two black buttons. Hold down the left black button until the light next to it turn on. Then press the right black button.
