Great to keep oculus off ground!
I bought this for our son who is 11 because I kept finding his Oculus on the floor or the controllers in random places. This is great for him to place all the parts on to recharge when he's done and it keeps it safe. Super easy to use and wish it came with the oculus as a package.

Actually - it's essential
At first I saw this charger as a nice add-on, but really it makes the charging "chore" so easy that it becomes essential. So often when wrapping up whatever I was doing on my Quest I would forget or be too busy to charge it and then find out later when I wanted to use the Quest again. This makes it so easy that I never forget, and don't have to really think about it. And my Quest is always ready to go!

What a difference in charging docks from the Q2 to Q3! I really appreciate how the design allows for easy placement, followed by a chime, letting me know I have a successful charging connection.

Nice to have for your quest
Like the ease of just putting the controllers and head set on for charging. No replacing controller batteries. Slight issue if you have elite strap with battery that you have to fiddle to get it to connect for charging.

Works well with plain headset & controller straps
I do not have a nice headstrap yet (waiting for BoboVR M3 to become available). So, I can only speak about the plain headset & controllers with Meta controller straps. It might take a little bit to get used to placing the controllers with straps on, but you get used to it pretty fast. This dock is easier to use than the Quest Pro one.
Always having your devices charged and ready to go is so very nice. This also gives your Quest the opportunity to apply all updates as they come in while you aren't using it (so no waiting when you want to actually use your Quest).
The dock is not cheap, but for me it is very worth it.

Excellent Dock for Quest 3
The Quest 3 dock is perfect. It comes with rechargeable battery packs for the controllers. There are LED lights letting you know if the headset and controllers are in the correct position to charge. The charging sweet spot for the headset is great. 10/10, great engineering and I hope it lasts a long time.

Almost perfect, but still worth it!
This is a must have charging unit, it not only makes for a great display but also a simple and easy way to make sure your device is always charged. My only complaint is that you need to make sure the headset is perfectly on the unit. I sometimes need to wiggle it a little bit to get the contacts to work. Still worth it. I am happy Meta put some thought into charging the devices.

Just alright
I'm new to the Meta Quest as I used to use Samsung Gear V.R. I bought the accessories but the headset charger doesn't seem to work very well. First it's green lights, then brown, then red in no apparent order of charging. You can't tell if it's charging or not. Right now its green on the headset but brown on the charger? I moved it a little and now it's red on the headset. How does it go from green to red when it's sitting on the charger? Maybe I should return it?

Easy to use, solid device
Our headset gets a lot of use and keeping it charged is important. One problem I find with the headset, and more so with the extended battery attachment, is that they drain rather quick even when not being used. This charging station works great to keep the headset and handhelds charged to 100%, including the extended battery we bought. It also looks nice. It does take up a bit of space but that can't be helped due to the size of the headset itself.
I would recommend this to everyone.

I keep my meta on the dock when I’m home and it’s easy to grab them and get to it. I liked the rechargeable batteries, so i don’t have to worry about them.

Beautiful but controller batteries don't last
I like to play Pop one for extended sessions and the controller batteries would ideally last for 5 hours on a charge. Since the controllers are wrapped so I can have better straps, it's a pain to swap out batteries quickly, so, instead, I'm using AA batteries in my controllers. Battery life continues to be a MAJOR issue on the Quest 3.

very good. but, over priced
very good. but, over priced and as there is no nose block to block the light, if you use ANY cover or light blocker and its hard to place the device correctly, you need to move it around many times until you get the proper position.

charging dock
The charging dock is easy to install but I have issues with it. You need to make sure that where you place it, it will not be bumped or vibrated off the contacts. If you put the controllers on the wrong side it will blink but the machine n issue is that I have had to unplug and allow it to reset to make it work.

Looks good but that's about it
Looks great but very hard if not impossible to get it to charge if you have the headset with elite strap with battery. Also noticing hand controller disconnects since using the rechargeable batteries. Poor execution for a supposedly premium product imo

Charging with extra battery headset is challenging, it has to be placed precisely or it won't charge headset. Not great for expensive accessory.

Disappointing with elite strap with battery
Overall, I love this. It worked perfectly with the standard head strap. Once I got the elite strap with the battery pack, it changed my mind. It is so hard to get the headset seated just right so that the battery doesn’t pull it too far back one out of the charger. In speaking with meta, they didn’t have much to offer other than to plug in the headset manually or to return it. It said it would work with it, so it’s disappointing that it really doesn’t - at least not easily.

Great 4 regular head strap, not so much 4 premium
I bought the premium head strap for my Meta Quest 3 along with this charger. It worked great with the regular head strap. However, with the premium strap, there is too much weight at the back of the unit and it does not charge. We have had to start resting the back of the head strap on a small book.
