I love how well it works, how easy it was to install and the remote! This u shaped air conditioner was a breeze to install. We have a house with older windows and this unit went in with no trouble at all. I love how much more secure it feels with the window closed further AND I love how much more energy efficient it is to have so much more of the window closed than with traditional shaped units. After a quick installation following the instructions, this unit was ready to go and cooling down our back room really quickly. The thermostat is really effective and keeps the room at the preset temperature really efficiently. I have noticed a drop in our electric bill compared to last year with a less efficient window unit. The remote is very convenient and easy to use. I also really love the humidity control this unit allows you to have. My husband has several guitars in the room we use this unit for and it helps keep the humidity at a safe level for his guitars, no matter the conditions outside. Overall this is a fantastic unit that's designed well, easy to use and energy efficient! I'm so happy with it!

Setup was easy and done by myself and my daughter. It cooled down the front of our house so good! I must say my family and I were thrilled when finding out I'd be receiving this item! we live in Louisiana, so having this during hot summer months as well as for power outages due to hurricanes and being able to hook this up to a generator will be amazing!

First, the installation was extremely easy.the directions were written out easy to follow. It came with the window mount for outside for added support. I was happy about that. Second, when I say that this AC unit is extremely quiet. I mean it's EXTREMELY QUIET! I had an older unit before this one that was loud. So now having this one is a huge upgrade for me. Third, it's modern, it's very appealing and best of all it cools the living room good and fast. It comes with a remote control and also connects to your phone. I love it! The only complaint that I could say is that they should give more of the strip foam because they just give enough and I had to go out to buy more. Not a huge deal but just wanted make it away that you will probably need to have some extra on hand.

I needed a boost in a west facing add on in my 1980's home. Not willing to shell out for an upgrade on the whole-house system, I thought this might work for us and IT DOES! The design is unobtrusive. The U shape allows my window to stay mostly closed, so the noise stays outside! I think my washing machine is louder even with laundry room door closed. The air flow is great. The operation via remote or app makes it easy to use. The space I am using this unit in tends to be 3 to 4* warmer than the rest of the house. I can add extra cooling to this space only without wasting that cool air in remainder of the house. I'm quite pleased and happy to tell my friends and neighbors about my new cooling solution with the Midea U shaped window AC.

But if your looking for a nice window air conditioner this summer I recommend this one and the price of it isn't that bad either.

I have a 400sq room and only on medium at 72°F it cools the room entire room the best don't need to lower it all the way down like others I love that it has also a app to use And would really like to talk about that, Being able to change temps away from home, set schedules for turning off or on or changing temps depending on my schedule is genuinely amazing! I can keep the pets cool away from home and also have it ready to be cool when we get home and not get to a hot home the best, The midea starts perfectly on the power station. This unit is very quiet, and well built. Will recommend to anybody and friends and family, I also like the vent that moves up and down to move air instead of pointing in one direction. I also like that the vent closes off when the init is turned off, like the layout of the settings. And I love that it allows more visibility in the window to look outside, brings a remote control also and it's very easy to use ,These units also do not spike your electric bill as much as other units (they are Energy Star rated). I would highly recommend these units, even if they are slightly more expensive than traditional window air conditioning units. They are well worth it and I highly recommend it

The process to install was so quick and took no more than 30 minutes. I love that I have the option to still be able to open my window if I want without compromising the Ac installation which I would not be able to do with other Ac options. My favorite part of this ac unit is that it can connect to the WiFi and can control the settings wherever you are! Sometimes I set a timer on hot days to cool down the house for my pets which is super convenient. I would definitely purchase this product as well as recommend it to my friends and family.

It is essentially only the sound of the fan that you hear, and just barely a dim drone of the compressor/condenser on the outside of the window. No need to turn this machine off or down if we're watching TV or eating dinner in the room, like we found ourselves doing often with our old unit. If you put the fan on low, this thing is close to silent. The app is very nice and works well too.

But never was ready to make the commitment because of skeptical reviews etc worried I'd pick the wrong type etc. However, the Midea 10,000 BTU U-Shaped AC came in to save the day. I have turned my garage into a studio space and it gets hot and humid really quickly in the south. Having this A/C unit has encouraged me to spend more time in the studio because I am finally comfortable with the AC blowing strong. It is a bit heavy, but thankfully between my husband and I we managed to install it in a couple of hours. Well worth the time and effort it took. So far it's holding up well and keeping up, but the true test is during the hot as the dickens summers we're expecting this year.

This came at such a good time as my old air conditioner died and it was starting to get hot. It works beautifully! It gives super cold air and is so quiet. I also love that it has a lot of power, but it's not huge or bulky. With its unique u-shape design It fits in the window without looking awkward or leaving gaps. It comes with a remote, and I like how the vent closes when you turn it off. Installation was pretty easy and didn't take long. I would definitely purchase another one!

I was very excited when I received this unit because I had heard about U-shaped air-conditioner and was interested in seeing if they really were as quite as advertised. The air-conditioner does a good job of cooling down my bedroom and I found it to be a good bit quieter to operate that the more traditional window units I have owned in the past. Basically the only the sounds that I really hear is the light purr of the compressor/condenser on the outside of the window. I will never go back to a traditional unit again because my previous air conditioner was very loud when running and if you wanted to watch Tv with it on, we had to turn up the volume a good bit or put on subtitles, we no longer have to to do this with our new air conditioner. The Midea U-Shaped Smart Inverter Window Air Conditioner in a nice looking modern air conditioner and it I like that it has real buttons instead of buttons embedded in a plastic overlay like my previous air conditioner as sometimes they were hard to see in low light. The air conditioner comes with a remote that is easy to use and it also has an accompanying smartphone app is easy to use and help you to operate the air conditioner no matter where you are. You can also use it to schedule when you would like it to run. Installation is of the unit was pretty simple as It comes with a very good support bracket, and all of the foam necessary to install it nicely. It was easier to install than out previous traditional air conditioner and as the included bracket provides more bracing against the side of the house than my previous air conditioner that only sat in the window and was connected by two L- shaped brackets screwed into the side. I think that most people who want a quiet, easy to install, air conditioner to cool down a 450 square foot room or less will be happy with this purchase.
