Small Energy Efficient Dryer
This dryer works great with the Miele WXI washers as the washer on normal will spin at high speed and remove most of the moisture from the clothing. You might need to adjust the amount of dryness as the default setting can leave some extra moisture in the clothing. There is also a lot of moist air in the dryer drum and around the clothing that can make the clothing seem wet even though it is actually dry. Shaking the clothes a bit after removing them from the machine gets rid of the moist air and the clothes should then feel completely dry.

Excellent dryer, no shrinkage.
This is an excellent dryer. Your clothes will not shrink. There are many options, and it took a minute for me to learn which ones to use but in general sticking with the normal selection is a win.

I LOVE this machine!!! so easy to use. You MUST buy this! so quiet, you don't need to put laundry detergent in it. quiet. way better than Bosh! Had a bosh, it broke in less than a year. you cant' even compare!!!!!!!!!!

Fancy dryer
This dryer has additional special perfumerie you can install to make your clothes smell good. It has 2 outlets so you can choose your perfume preference. It’s very quiet and plugs into any normal 125v outlet. This is perfect for city living where you can’t have a vented dryer. Clothes came out slightly damp at first but that’s because the default setting is at medium dry. Once you change the setting, the clothes came out dry. I would encourage everyone to read the manual first as there’s a lot of features that you could use. The app is super useful to give you notifications or control the dryer remotely. Happy with the purchase but takes time getting used to the machine.

It's ok
Ventless. Deposits water into container which you have to empty. You can place hose in nearby drain, but hose is SHORT. Miele denies there is an extension, but if you order non-reverse valve, it homes with 2 ft extension hose. Had to place dryer right next to drain. 2ft extension just made it. Other than that, nice dryer. Dries fast. Alerts phone when done.

Buyer Beware
Miele buyer beware: I have had a Miele TXI680WP heat pump dryer for 3 months and have never made a worse appliance purchase. Unfortunately, I am stuck with it. After numerous complaints and calls to Miele, and visits by three technicians, they simply said it's working how it should work and there is nothing they can or will do. It doesn't dry a set of queen sheets nor a set of towels (and I mean only two towels and two washcloths) adequately. That is after a deep dive into the programming. It is set on maximum water extraction and I set the washer on maximum spin. I clean all THREE lint filters which is a royal pain. I have tried the following: Normal cycle "Extra Dry"; timed dry for 2 hours (which is the maximum time allowed) and the Bed Linens cycle on "Extra Dry" - again set on maximum water extraction. Sheets and towels are damp after each of those so I have to start it all over again and it eventually dries things after 3-4 hours. I asked if I could somehow increase the timed dry to three hours: NO. I don't want to have to go in and restart the dryer EVERY SINGLE TIME. In defending their over-priced, under-performing machine, the Miele folks say Americans want over-dry clothes - NO, I just want to go to bed in dry, NOT DAMP, sheets. I want to put in my sheets and come back to dry sheets that I can put on a bed. DO NOT BUY! Bottom line, you can get sort of dry stuff IF you use small loads after three or four hours, multiple clean-outs of the lint trap, and going in to restart it at last once.

Terrible service.
PC richards sent a surveyor to double check this machine would work in my space and for my needs. surveyor did not check that the washer has a max drain height of 30 something inches. My drain height is 72 so it’s unusable and sitting in my basement taking up space while PC richards gives me the run around on how to return this product I’ve literally never put laundry in.
