Love my Mesh EAX80!
I recently purchased a Netgear Nighthawk Mess Extender Eax80 to extend my wifi out to onto my patio. It works great!! Don't have to swap over to other wifi network anymore. It's also super fast!

Works for our uses!

Great addition to my Network

Now at full strength!
I used this as an access point in a steel building where I had no access previously. The install was simple and set up was basically automatic. I now don't have to open the door and walk toward the house to get a signal. Very happy!

Works well but....
Re-Setup was a bit dodgy and frustrating when we got new internet. Do a factory reset. Then it came together very well and works wonderfully.

The device is the best extender in the market for all categories you can think of. Price is great for the power it outputs. The user friendly guide was helpful for setup. I got everything done just by using the app. As well, the design of the device. The device’s design makes it possible to put in a corner and not disturb. Overall this device is the best extender and one of my favorite purchases I have ever made.

Access point
It was a real easy to hook this EAX80 up and by making it an access point it makes the wifi extend into my backyard and our outdoor room, we stream TV with no problem. In my option this is the way to go with the EAX80 to fill your house with wifi.

Worth the Money
Bought the Nighthawk expecting a modest range increase. It far surpassed my wildest guess! Not only did my 5g range improve, but the 2.4g now goes thru the entire house - a shocking increase in range!
The Nighthawk works more like an extra router than a simple extender. The extra ports allow hardwired extras like printers and computers to act like they are plugged into the modem itself.
This is probably the best addition to my computer that I have ever purchased.

Problem solved
The extender was required because we had an exterior water valve located on the outside of a brick wall that was not receiving a strong signal. By using the extender, I was able to solve that problem and provide a much stronger signal to all the devices the west side of the home. Installation was as simple as it could possibly be and has not required any adjustments . Once installed it seems to work extremely well.

Was looking for a mesh extender, and after many purchases I came across this one. Setup was very easy with the app and the connections were great. I went from a 34mbs extender to 220mbs extender. The Nighthawk reduces the need to switch to wifi manually .Highly recommend !
