We’ve enjoyed cooking with Sharp appliances over the years and were pleased to find a Sharp gas range / oven with a huge oven that can easily handle a Thanksgiving meal!
This range has so many features that we’ll need some time to try them, but so far, the air fry is our favorite.

Superior Craftsmanship
I was looking for a basic, solid built stove without added WiFi gadgets. The Sharp stove has performed well. Simple instructions for burner flame adjustments. Had to adjust foot height to maximum because top frame sits above, but not directly on top of the counter to prevent counter debris from dropping down between stove and counters. The oven is large and the blue color is beautiful. The cook area is easy to clean. Knob controls are illuminated when turned on. I converted from electric to gas. NOTE: Even though I already had an interior gas line I had to have a plumber remove the interior cap and add additional line before the delivery. Overall, I am extremely pleased.

Air Fry Feature is LIFE CHANGING
I loved my air fryer but it took up too much room on the counter and in my cabinets. I have a small kitchen so every inch matters. This oven has an air fry feature and is PERFECT. I threw out my air fryer. I can air fry even MORE food than I could before because this range fits so much food compared to my air fryer. Cleared up room in my kitchen and now I can cook MORE food at ONCE!

Quiet timer
First I want to say I love my Sharp Slide-In Range with Air Fry. But there are two things I wish were different. I use calphalon pans and the grates on the stove top scratch the bottom of the pans and the pans scratch the grates. The other thing is the timer is so quiet if it rings and I am out of the room with the TV on I won’t hear it. There are two volume settings but not much difference between the volumes.

Model SSG3061JS gas range - stove top protector for this oven/range -
If question pertains to a burner protector under the cast iron grates, I’ve not found a custom fit for this range. Amazon has heat resistant vinyl sheets that can be cut to fit. You need to remove the grates, burner caps, etc, and do a lot of measuring be make a pattern before cutting the vinyl. Lots of time to do this, and I ended up taking 5 minutes every Saturday morning to pull the grates and clean with Lysol & paper towels!
