Not only ease of use, ability to listen to all of my music from any provider, ability of apple product with it, set up ease... I can now listen to my movies from my TV or Apple TV or any music I choose in any room I choose or everywhere I go in the house seamlessly. Amazing addition to our Sonos sound system!
We finally added the Sub to our Sonos surround sound in our living room and we could not BELIEVE the impact to the sound quality! Adding the Sub made everything clearer and so dynamic! Even watching older films like Monsters Inc blew us away (seriously, the scene where Boo screams in their apartment sounded INCREDIBLE through the Sub!!) Get one!!

Nice Subwoofer
We have several Sonos systems in our home. All of them include a subwoofer. The GEN 3 subwoofer sounds incredible and is a great addition to any Sonos system. You absolutely know it's present when it's on. However, I don't hear the difference between the GEN 2 and GEN 3. I still have a GEN 2 subwoofer in our great room and it sounds the same. The setup seems easier on the GEN 3 and possibly the WiFi connection is better, I'm not sure, but either way the Sonos subwoofer is an amazing sub. Excellent work Sonos!!

Pairs with Sonos Arc, and rounds out new sound system and 100" TV for our great room. Fills the large space with sound rich clear bass. Creates an awesome experience for anything we watch! News to movies!

paired this with the arc. the arc is great by itself but adding this is a game changer!! you don't even realize all the audio out there with a substantial amount of bass. Crystal clear arc, sub never rattles or bottoms out...just great pair. going to add a set of sl's for the rear but can't comment yet, so......if you are on the fence, get the big sub, your going to love it!!!

Nice deep bass without the extra noise
My old system the sub would have extra noise and vibration that took away from the movie experience. This has deep accurate tones with out all the unnecessary noises.

Hearing this sound system is an amazing experience.
I use the Sub (Gen 3), Arc soundbar with my TV and music while the Era 300 is for the moment used exclusively for music until I discover a way to include them in my setup. I really enjoy the deep bass that isn't at all overbearing or at all distorted, but simply a very pleasant experience that feels and sounds natural with a feeling for wanting to hear and feel more.

Adding the Sub to my theatre changed EVERYTHING. Don't wait! The highs become more pronounced and the the Sub really shows you how necessary it really is to have all components to get the most out of your theatre set up. Expect to adjust it a bit to your liking.
