The Liberty rocks!
In the late 80's, I abandoned vinyl and sold almost all of my records (except for a few rarities) and turntable, in favor of CD's. I really did not think about records until recently popping into two local record shops to see what they had to offer.
Well, I was once again bit by the vinyl bug and needed a player. After quite a bit of research on the myriad of brands, styles, and features offered, I bought The Liberty model. I must say I am quite pleased.
Being a simple manual player it has everything you need to enjoy spinning records. I love that you can close the lid while playing records to keep dust and curious cats out of the cabinet. The cabinet, the turntable/platter mechanism, and tone arm all seem to be solidly constructed. Straight out of the box, all of my 7" and 12" records play at the proper speed.
The small-ish speakers in the cabinet are adequate and can deliver sound throughout our small home. The Bluetooth out feature to a quality wireless system is where is player really shines, and I use this feature nearly everyday.
It would be nice if the radio had an actual dial but the scan/seek buttons work great and pulls in distant stations well.
I do recommend upgrading to a diamond stylus cartridge soon. I was able to find a replacement online easily and relatively inexpensively.
I cannot really comment on the other features of this player, as I have yet to utilize them. I have no doubt they would function flawlessly.
The legs provided are relatively short making the player 27.5 inches tall with the lid closed, not ideal, but I can live with it. Although I have yet do so, I like the idea of portability of this player simply by putting on the shorter "feet", grabbing the handle provided on the side (and a stack of records) and away we go! The fit and finish on the cabinet is reminiscent of 60's/70's decor, and fits in nicely with our eclectic furnished home, Early American Castoff. Seriously, it looks like it belongs in our home, and will look so in your home.
All in all I think it is a solid player and would hesitate to purchase another as a gift for someone.
The real issue is the vinyl acquisition addiction which will commence after delivery of The Liberty to your home. Shop locally and support your local record shops. Plenty of used record's in good shape to be had versus reissues.
The is something quite pleasing about putting on a record, sitting down, and being totally immersed in the moment, enjoying you favorite LP or discovering something new. Reading the liner notes for the umpteenth time, considering the the artwork, or lyrics on the sleeve.
Even if you do not buy this player, I hope you find one that suits you needs.

Cat friendly!
I love this record player! I have a cat who loves to sit on things he shouldn't be sitting on, so I was worried about him messing with the records while they were playing and them getting dirty or scratched. With this record player, I am able to completely shut the lid while the record is spinning and it does not compromise the sound quality at all! I would highly recommend especially for anyone looking for a first record player!

The Liberty Record Player with Stand
I chose the Liberty Record Player for it's 50's - 60's retro style, but I was also very pleased at how well it performed. The sound is really good quality at any volume level and the FM, USB and Bluetooth functions all work good. I'm very happy with my purchase.

First record player
Super excited for my first record player! However, I noticed the turntable seems to be made pretty cheaply. It doesn’t sit all the way into the device so when the record is on it wobbles. Not so much that the record skips, but still not a solid piece of equipment. Great for a first timer! Will look into getting a higher quality one later on
