Good electric vgrill
We moved to a townhouse where only electric grills are allowed.
High quality built and easy to use. It doesn’t have a temperature gauge on its lid. I bought one and placed it inside the grill.
It does get to 600F in about 15 minutes in the summer.

I purchased the Q2400 as a replacement for my older propane BBQ as we moved into a condominium and only electric BBQs are permitted. I wasn’t sure if I'd be happy with the cooking results as my propane BBQ heated up to a fairly high temperature. Well I have cooked number on meals on my new Weber Q2400 and they have turned out perfect!!!! So if you're looking for a quality electric BBQ, spend the money and buy the Weber Q2400 !

I was pleasantly surprised at how much an electric grill could make the food taste like my previous propane bbq. I didn't have to check for propane nor move that heavy tank around. Just plug it in an start cooking.

Change from a gas to electric grill
I had to change from a gas BBQ to the electric grill because of moving to an apartment and I have been pleasantly surprised by its overall performance. It heats up well even in the winter and cooks much like a gas grill. For larger pieces of chicken, a half chicken for example, I have to turn it over to get it completely brown and crisp but that is fine. Overall extremely pleased and the quality of the materials is exceptional.

Great for apartment or condo lifestyle that doesn’t allow gas or charcoal grills. This unit works great. Takes a little longer to hit the high heat but once it does, it sears steaks and any other meat. Easy to clean up.

The 2400 is well designed for outdoor grilling with grilling space for 6 to 8 NY Strip steaks.
This is my second 2400 with the first one lasting 10 years with use 3 to 4 times a week.

No. It is very straight forward to assemble. Pretty much need a screwdriver to screw the handle on.

Can you get an adapter for a car plug and use it with it?
The grill runs on 110 volt, and need a 20 amp circuit, minimum. You could buy an inverter which switches 12 volts to 110, but very few can generate enough amps to power the heating element. It would likely cost more than the grill to find one strong enough. AND, it would probably drain your car battery very quickly. Approach with caution!!
