Very attractive with least bothersome grates.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I did lots of comparison shopping to replace a 1955 Tappan stainless cooktop. Mostly I was concerned with the look. My old cooktop was very low profile and sleek. The new cooktops have high profile grates that I am not in love with. The Whirlpool stainless was the most attractive of all brands. Once it was installed I knew I made the right choice. It looks great and works well. The stainless knobs look terrific.

I like that the knobs are right in the front, it just makes more sense to me. The best feature is that the cooking grates just lift up easily to clean up underneath. My grates before were so heavy and clunky there was nothing keeping them in place. Wipes down easily with a paper towel and all purpose cleaner. I have t noticed any scratches either after cleaning.

I like that the grates allow me to put my pots anywhere on the cooktop. The cooktop is very easy to clean and the grates easily lift up. The knobs are also very easy to turn and are all labeled. The cooktop is also very quiet. It makes much less noise then my previous one did. So far I have been using this daily to cook and have had no issues. I reccomend!

Great Replacement for my 22-year Old Cooktop

The burners have plenty of heating power and the controls are easy to use. The move to the brushed Stainless steel look was a nice add to our kitchen. The only concern that I have is that one of higher power burners is in front, near the burner's control.

The buttons work well but are a bit too easy to accident turn on, that’s why I only give it a 4 star review otherwise I think is perfect. Grates are heavy and sturdy, the burner is removable and you can easily wash every piece and put it back in place. It’s easy to quickly lift the grate and wipe it down. I also like how the grates can be lifted up or removed while for easy clean up.
I’m overall very please with my new stovetop.
