Happy with my first video doorbell
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been wanting a video doorbell for awhile now and finally chose this one. Been concerned with Ring's privacy. This doorbell was very easy to set up and connect to our phones. I like the added sense of security this has given us. Video quality is great! Like most video doorbells, you do need to pay a monthly subscription for cloud storage. Overall I'm very happy with it!

The video doorbell not only allows ua to see who is at door without opening but provides us with seeing who stops by when we are not home as well as seeing when packages are delivered so we know if anything disappears. The added security has provided us with a big relief.

Excellent Doorbell Cam
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Arlo Doorbell camera is the best one I have used. The application is well designed and intuitive. The doorbell being wireless is a great feature. I chose to wire it to my existing doorbell and transformer so it always stays charged, but it is nice to know that I could have mounted it anywhere regardless of wire. This doorbell has lots of options and was easy to set up. I have this doorbell mounted near my garage entrance door looking towards the street and down my driveway. I increased the sensitivity to 8 on the motion detection and rarely get a car driving by, but pickup everything else. That was my biggest fear with a new doorbell is how much "extra" vehicle action it would pick up. My other doorbell sent me so many notifications I stopped looking at them. The smart software on this doorbell can differentiate between an animal, package, person, or a vehicle. This feature works well, and the notifications show a glimpse of what it captured as well as the designation I listed above. The audio and video quality are great and both parties can communicate easily. Comes through on your phone like a phone call using your ringtone. This is hands down the best doorbell cam I have used. Mine came with a trial to their smart service and I believe it is worth it to subscribe to.

Nice picture and easy install
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had some shady things go on since we moved into our home about a year ago. I've been looking for a security system for a while now and was happy to try this doorbell camera. The setup was super easy because it's wireless. You just need to mount it where you want it. The app is really easy to use as well. It walks you through everything and is very user friendly. The picture quality is better than I expected it would be and I can clearly make things out. We get a lot of animal traffic but that's not a big deal. The only downside is that you have to pay for the app after the free trial is over. From looking around it seems that most companies are like this so it's not a deal breaker. This definitely gives me piece of mind for my family and I'm looking into other products we can add. If you are looking for a great quality doorbell camera you should for sure consider this one. We are very happy with it.

Porch lookout!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I can always see my front porch or my yard at anytime now. Installing this doorbell was very easy because its wireless so I had not trouble at all. The placement of the doorbell did take about 5 minutes because I wanted to make sure I was getting the coverage and angles I needed. I did not sign up for the subscription so I could test the camera out on basic quality and it worked out great. The quality is not bad and can still pretty clear of who or what is one your porch. I wanted a camera on our porch because I get lots of packages and I wanted to make sure that if any went missing I would have it on video. The camera is weather resistant so it works perfectly in the rain, snow, wind or super bright sun. I have even tested this camera out at night to see how far and how clear I could see and I could easily identify objects. There is options to call from the phone to speak with the person on the porch and an option to give a warning siren. I feel much more confident that my packages are safe and I also feel like my home is safe now too!

Knock Knock - Whose There?

Especially with the pandemic, we are weary to open the door until we know who is there and if they are wearing a mask. We now have an Arlo Video Doorbell and it is exactly what we needed. Easy set up. Connected straight to our wifi with no issues. Now we can see exactly what is going on at our front door without even getting up. Talk about a plus! I was able to assemble it without any issues and we are very happy with this Arlo doorbell. Highly recommended. No more surprise knocks for us. Safe and happy over here.

I love it!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This doorbell is a step saver for me for sure. I live in an upstairs apartment and every time someone knocks on the door I have to go downstairs to see who it is, and most of the time they're not even there for me. I love that the app notifies me that someone is here and that all I have to do is talk to them through the camera.
The picture is super clear and in color, which is nice. When I get packages (which is a lot) I no longer have to keep going outside to see if they've been delivered. I just wait for the notification from Arlo.
Installation was also very easy. My husband had it up in 5 minutes. It took longer to download the app than it did to hang the doorbell on the wall.
Overall, I really like this doorbell and I highly recommend it.

For peace of mind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don’t have a garage and have to park in front of my house along side of the road. This camera provides a nice wide range of the street view so I can keep an eye on any movement in front of the house. I feel a lot safer with this video doorbell as it gives me notifications of any movement. I have it set to detect “people” at the moment, but you have more choices. This is perfect for me to watch for any deliveries as I get notifications on my phone of visitors while I’m at work. The set up was simple. The app gives step by step instructions. The camera visual is crystal clear. When visitors ring the doorbell, my phone starts ringing and I can speak to the person and hear them clearly. This is a great addition to my home and I highly recommend it!

Feel safe again!

First of all it's wireless so no hard wiring required! Easy to install and has the perfect wifi strength for connection. Has built in sirin just in case you might be away and someone comes on your porch to steal your packages. Comes with night vision and a app that will alert you of anything coming to your house! You can be away and still have the app to live stream your door bell. Very reliable and easy to use make you feel safe again!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this!!!! Took a bit to get the battery charged, but once I got it fully charged this video doorbell is awesome. It records any movement and sends notifications within a minute to the devices that it is hooked up to. You can go into the app and review all the videos Arlo recorded and keep or delete. Took only a minute to pair the doorbell with the app on my phone. The doorbell can be hard wired or used with a battery, though the battery is small and takes approximately 24 hours to fully charge it can last up to 14 days. The images taken by the video are clear, not grainy or distorted even from a distance. The audio on the doorbell is also crystal clear with no distortions. This doorbell is truly impressive.

The only thing I struggled with was switching my WiFi on my phone to 2.4ghz other than that the set up was pretty simple. I love that you have the option to either use a wire or use the doorbell wireless. You can also talk to the person that rings the doorbell which is pretty neat. I definitely recommend.

I'm amazed with video and picture quality.
I would highly recommend to anyone.

Awesome picture/video quality day or night
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have also wanted a doorbell camera but dreaded having to mess with all of the wiring. When I heard that there was a wire free option I was excited but also worried that maybe it wouldn’t work as well since I would have to charge it sometimes. Let me tell you if you are skeptical like I was there is no reason to be. The battery life is unreal, I can have the doorbell running for a week and it will still have 75% battery life left when it is time to charge it doesn’t take a long time for it to get fully charged, about 5 hours. Not only does the battery life surprise me and surpass my expectations but the video quality is second to none. Everything shows up so clearly and you can see for quite some distance from where the camera is mounted. Night vision works well, whenever an animal or anything is outside I can see it perfectly even in the dead od night. That alone is enough for me to love this camera but there is a ton of other features like a siren that you can have go off if you feel the need, you can have it set to where 911 is contacted at just a push of a button. I have never felt safer and more secure than I do with this thing installed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy mount, took a few tries to get it to work on the app. Pretty sure it was my internet. Get camera show a clear wide range view and great with every movement.
Only issue I wish it came with a doorbell (chime)box instead of it calling your phone. But you can also connect it to your Alexa she will make an announcement also for movement and when someone press the button. Overall great camera definitely a must have for security.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had been researching and wanting a video doorbell for quite sometime now. This doorbell was very simple to set up and install. This doorbell comes with two plates for installing to your house, 1 pin to unlock the battery from the doorbell, the doorbell, screws, a few wires in case someone wants to wire conenct it, a charger cable, instructions, and the doorbell. When we downloaded the Arlo app we created an account, and it walked us through all the steps to install the doorbell, how to connect it to wifi, and get it up and working. The app works great, we did have to sign up for a monlthy subscription to keep the video recordings, we did the 4.99 a month plan, they offer more than that one however. The video is very clear displaying to my phone, my phone gets alerts for animals, vehicles, people, and packages. Sometimes it take quite awhile to connect to the doorbell when we want to turn the microphone on and talk through it. Other than that we love this doorbell and are excited to have more security around our home.

Great features

We have trusted Arlo products almost for a year now when there was some shady stuff going on in our neighborhood and wanted to detour any shady activity. We started reading reviews and found that Arlo would be the best value for our budget. And now 10 months later I am still impressed! The only thing missing was the doorbell, which now has been added! Clear views, quick response time, and easy to set up. From box to install time was around 20 minutes and was fairly easy to do. If you are looking for a great video system without breaking the bank...this is for sure the one!!

Had no idea what I was missing!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have motion cameras up at my front door and garage door and debated one of these for the longest. SO extremely happy to have gotten it. We live in a area of high theft etc so it could quiet literally save our lives on day with the 911 feature, motion detection alarms and notifications right to your phone it’s awesome sauce! I work from home also so a loud doorbell is a major no no for me so with this I can see and get my notifications for my door and decline it and give the person the chance to leave me a video message how cool is that! If you haven’t already got one do it worth every penny and could save your valuables, yourself and family, and your sanity if you miss the doorbell!

For example; I had my dog outside with me and a notification alerted me a animal was at my door or whenever someone is present at my door I'm alerted a person is there. The app filters these notifications by a assortment of specific categories. Whenever some one rings my door bell I'm sent a call on my phone from the Arlo doorbell. The app records each days motion, time, specific type of motion and a short clip.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was super excited about this. It is very simple to install. And easy to use. It can be placed pretty much anywhere and all you need is a screwdriver. It comes with everything else. It uses an app that gives very good troubleshooting instructions and makes it easy to connect your doorbell. The app doesn't take up a lot of space on your phone which is great. Push the button and your phone gets a notification, and you can choose to answer it or not. My issue was I couldn't see the person. I'm not totally sure its the products issue or my internet. So I can't say if it's a product issue. But even without seeing the person you can still hear them and they can hear you. So that alone is pretty cool. So I say give it a try. With better internet it might work 100%.
