Awesome fridge for the size and cost.
We initially wanted to get a chest freezer but could not get one month into the pandemic. Technically we had bought one but one week before scheduled delivery, that orange big boxed store delayed our order indefinitely. At this point in late April 2020, there was no possible way to order another model that is within our budget and have it delivered within a week. So we shifted our focus on purchasing a second fridge that can fit down our narrow basement stairs (23" wide). After looking at many different models, weighing price points and trying to get a model with the largest possible freezer space, we settled on the Avanti 22. I ordered this on Saturday and PC Richards had this delivered by Tuesday afternoon. What more can you say at that point other than the next time I am looking for any appliances, PC Richards and Son is my first stop.
In terms of the fridge, the freezer space is ample but you do have to be careful not to overstuff it as the door needs room to close. The curved opening of the freezer adds to the deception as your eyes make you think you can shove as much stuff in there as you can. Frost free is awesome, no worries about ice build-up. We also swapped the door around to open from the right. No issues there. The refrigerator section has a center column that vents the cold air that directly blows against the items on the door. Which actually is a great feature because those items get blasted with cold air first as items in back usually maintain temperature better.
Its large enough that I can easily fit 4 one gallon jugs of milk and 3 half gallon cartons in the center section, Up top can hold 4 dozen eggs and stacks of bacon under the center column vent. 3 bottles of wine above the veggie drawer and not even counting the space on the door. The only negative is the moisture that tends to build up in the vegetable drawer when you have items in there. In terms of noise, I can definitely hear the hum even with the TV on but nothing to complain about. It's a fridge and it keeps your food from spoiling. Overall you cannot go wrong with buying this. Having a second fridge has turned out to much more useful in the long run that just a chest freezer.

This refrigerator has met our expectations thus far. It is frost free and it is also very well made, and worked well out of the box. It also fits perfectly in our small space. The freezer is a nice size also. Interior well lit and freezer stays very cold. It was fairly expensive relative to other Refrigerators in its class but we are happy with it.

Avanti 7.0 refrigerator
Great refrigerator for a small spaced apartment. Had a similar one for the past 15 years but it started to make a defeating noise probably the condenser, hence it was time to rid it and get a new one. Happy thus far with the new one but the height is smaller.

Not thrilled. The photo doesn't indicate that the top shelves on the fridge door are for soda cans. I don't drink soda, so they're of no use to me. The freezer compartment could be smaller and more room designated to fridge portion. If you're above 5'2", it's a chore to get to the fridge portion. I'm 5"9" and it's a struggle which is bad news for an already bad back! I replaced an old Avanti model of the same size, so I thought, because the compressor seemed to be on the way out. That fridge was taller than this, had a smaller freezer compartment and larger fridge section with standards shelves. Delivery guy was awful. He was in and out so quickly that I neglected to remove the 3 items I had in the freezer of the old fridge and put in the new. The only reason I kept anything in the old fridge was because it was frozen and I didn't know when delivery would be. I have no choice but to keep this unit as I'm restricted space wise. I'm hoping the fact that it's frost free will make up for the other inconveniences, and I hope that it performs well. Reviews are mixed, so fingers crossed.

Careful when buying a smaller refrigerator
Unfortunately little room inside where there should be more room. Inside door shelves need about.5" more width/space. 2L. bottles are a tight fit. No designated space for butter dish on the door (it takes up precious space on a shelf). Fruit/vegetable drawer at the very bottom is a physical strain to get to. Refrig door is opened more often than a freezer door...key design flaw: Freezer drawer should be at the bottom, not the top. Appliance meets our space requirement, inside space limitations diminish overall satisfaction and user-friendly functionality.
