Clean at last!

My old one left streaks, crumbs, and all sorts of stuff behind that I just assumed as normal, but now I know better! My dishes are CLEAN. Not just clean clean, but shiny and spotless! I'm so happy, and very relieved to not have to wash my dishes twice any longer (once in the washer and once by hand after!)

Bought the Bosch 300 dishwasher based on reviews. I am not disappointed. Its very quiet. I was advised not to pre-rinse and wipe dishes. Though skeptical, I did as advised. It really cleans dirty dishes. Count me satisfied.

Glad to have a working dishwasher back !

I like the home connect app for getting notifications the wash is completed and being able to remotely start a wash. If I had a complaint it would be that the tongs on the racks don't fit my dishes well, but I think I still need to learn how to properly load the diswhasher so that's probably user error.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I replaced a very aged Whirlpool model with the 300 series and it has far exceeded my expecations. Call me weird but I don't want a whisper quiet model. I've had them in the past. I cannot count how many times I have accidentally opened the door during the cycle. The 300 series is extremely quiet but can still be heard when you're in front of it. It cleans all of our dishes perfectly. The stainless basin stays spotless and presents very well. Would 100% buy again.

It takes a little bit of a learning curve to adjust the settings and use the right amount of detergent and rinse agent. I have no complaints about the operation of this machine. The operation is good but if I had to share a complaint, it would be the front feet are hard to adjust properly and even chipped one trying to adjust it. The phone app is very difficult to connect with the unit. The app developers could definitely make it easier. Don't use the scan qr code, it doesn't work, use the number and enter it manually.

What a change ... I had not realized how dull all my crockery and cutlery had become until I started using my Bosch dishwasher. Wow, what a change and it is so quiet too, just perfect. I have to point out that I originally ordered a Whirlpool that seemingly would not drain properly. Home Depot sent a team to check and they changed some things but did not pull out the machine to check. It still would not drain. Finally had it removed only to find out that the original installation was indeed faulty. I opted to change for a Bosch and got my plumber to install and get it right!! Home Depot need to pay attention to their 3rd party installers.

Does a good job. Why the app?
The dishwasher does a very good job of cleaning the dishes. After a few weeks I'm still trying to figure out the best way to place the dishes. My main complaint is about having to use the app to change the settings. The instructions were incomplete/confusing. I don't undrperstand why I couldn't just change the settings manually. I don't need the remote start feature. Why complicate such a simple function?

I am not thrilled with the controls as, unless you use wifi, they are a bit hard to figure out. The instructions are also a bit sketchy unless/until you go "on line." I know this is how things are done now, but a dishwasher is a pretty basic appliance in my opinion that really should be pretty straightforward to use.
