Our local store took it back and we upgraded to the Bosch 500 series, best decision we could make, love the quality and it looks great next to our Bosch dishwasher.

First time owner of bottom freezer. Couldn't be more pleased.
Freezer has plethora of room, and the added pull out adds more.
Spacious refrigerator area, like the shelving arrangement, easy to wipe down, so much room!
The price put me off for a bit, but knew Bosch is excellent product so purchased.
Wouldn't change a thing, also purchased a Bosch induction oven same time.
Functional, classy appliances for our tiny home.

Stylish French Door Refrigerator

Ice machine is pretty quick and quiet. I've had the fridge set at 37 but seems to run slightly colder. Easy to adjust. It's classed up the kitchen so much I feel I might need to upgrade the rest.

Good Choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We looked at a lot of refridgerators and read dozens of reviews before deciding on a Bosch 500 refridgerator as part of a total kitchen remodel. We have had it for just over a month and so far are convinced that Bosch was the right choice. It is a beautiful addition to our kitchen. The exterior finish is striking. The interior provides a lot of flexibility and is well lit. All the shelves are glass and movable. The ice maker, located in the top left corner, does not take up much room, makes plenty of ice in a short time and can be emptied into an bin in the freezer compartment if you need extra ice for larger gatherings. While the left side door closes like any other refridgerator, the right side door needs to be "purposely closed" (pushed closed the last few inches) to assure that the center door seal flips into place. It only took a couple of days to adapt making this a very minor nonissue. One of the features that we insisted on was an exterior ice & water dispenser. On our previous refridgerator the ice dispenser often gifted us another piece or two of ice which ended up on the floor several minutes after we would walk away. The Bosch dispenser does not have that problem - the last piece of ice out is indeed the last piece of ice until the dispenser is activated again. The freezer has a deep compartment along with a handy slide out tray for smaller items. Like the cold compartment, the freezer drawer is weak lit. The freezer and cold compartment controls are well located and easy to understand and set. I have been monitoring the temperatures in both the cold and freezer compartments and find that both compartments hold temperatures around +/- 1 degree F. Excellent temperature control. This is an extremely quiet running refridgerator. We have a counter depth model and it is enclosed in full height cabinetry. We never hear it run even when we are in the kitchen. Can't judge the longevity but is appears to be well designed and nicely constructed so we are expecting a long life cycle on our new fridge.

Perfection
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Family of 6 here! We went from a side freezer/fridge to this. I absolutely love it. It's bigger fridge and the freezer is smaller but it fits more then you would think. I've also noticed my fruits and veggies are lasting longer as well. The ice machine and water is perfect and hasn't run out. Also once you figure out the fill bottle feature it's pretty cool as well. My only issue is I'd like to purchase more shelves to add to the door and fridge itself but I haven't found any yet. Otherwise 10/10

Exceeds Expectations
We have only had this unit for a month but we are impressed. First of all, it is well designed and looks very nice in our newly remodeled kitchen. We have owned a number of refrigerators over the years and this is by far the quietest refridgerator - can hardly hear it running even standing next to it. I have yet to hear the ice maker dumping ice into the dispenser (relatively small ice dispenser container so the cubes only have a few inches to fall). The ice maker makes ice quickly. For our needs, we will not have to store extra ice in the freezer ice bin. The cold and freezer boxes stay nearly exactly at the set temperatures. The inside is very attractive with a stainless steel rear panel and bright (adjustable) LED lighting. The door ice & water dispenser work well without splashing water or ice while filling a glass. Also, there is no ice dropping out of the dispenser after you walk away. Our previous refridgerator often gifted us a cube or two a few minutes after use and they generally ended up on the floor. Annoying! This is our first bottom freezer refridgerator so it will take some getting used to but so far we don't see any disadvantage compared to our old side by side. The real test will be longevity. We have been generally disappointed in the life span of other brands that we have owned over the years. Refridgerators purchased over the last 20 years have all too often failed within the first 5 years or so. OK, the only minor drawback that we had to get used to is that the right hand door must be pushed close or it may sit slightly open. We did download the app and connect the refridgerator to our router so it does provide a warning should the door be left open (and a number of other things such as ice bin full, etc.). Not big in WI-FI connected appliances but handy to be able to check on things when we travel.

Nice Bosch refrigerator

Features I like are: the water/ice dispenser on the door; self closing freezer door; good shelving and separate compartments in the freezer area; placement of controls and app for additional functions. Couldn’t be happier!

My counter depth refrigerator is more spacious than my previous Electrolux counter depth. The lighting is superb. Not a dark spot or "black hole" to be found. Controls are simple. I love the simple, clean water & ice dispenser in the door. And speaking of ice, boy can it make a lot of it quickly! I expect to get many years from this newest purchase.
