The footprint of this fridge is the same as our last one (different brand) and this one is much more roomy and laid out better in terms of shelves and drawers in both the fridge and freezer.

We are very pleased with this refrigerator. The drawers for fruits and vegetables work very well and keep them fresh. We recommend it! Only thing to keep in mind are you need to purposefully close the doors. They may not close themselves. You can set a minder for that but just pay attention if you are used to heavy refrigerator doors closing themselves. Otherwise an excellent product

Best decision ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Bosch 500 after our frigidaire quit within 1 year! Definitely scared me into making a more educated decision. I did my research and it's exactly as I had hoped. It's well made, quiet, and has plenty of space. I'm still not exactly sure what to do with the short edged storage in the doors but I haven't looked too hard to figure it out yet! At 60 years old I'm starting to use the app for shopping and find it quite fun and useful! Glass adjustable shelves are attractive and useful. I have zero regrets...other than not getting more Bosch appliances in my lifetime!

Our prior refrigerator was a side by side and rarely did we have an issue with space. Now I have to think before buying an item for the freezer. The freezer is roomy, but we need a little more space. Other families may not have a problem with the space.

My new Bosch 500 series French Door fridge

Fantastic Fridge!!

We love the clear dividers and shelves inside which make it very easy to see what is in the fridge. Both the fridge and freezer compartment are a good size and hold a lot of items comfortably. Our only issue is that that right door has a tendency to remain slightly open if we do not push hard enough when closing it.

Handsome and functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I immediately liked the clean styling of this refrigerator and am pleased at how it dresses up the kitchen. I wanted ice and water in the door because i use those functions daily and was a little concerned because the ice storage container was smaller than in my previous appliance, but that has not been a problem because it makes cubes very quickly. I've never run out.
The French door layout works better, I think, than our previous side-by-side. You can see easily see things on the shelves since everything is at eye level and the LED lighting is good. The drawers in the door are a bit narrower, but there are more of them, which actually makes it easier to sort bottles and jars into categories. (I do wish there was a designated butter shelf with a lower front edge.)
Similarly, the deep drawers in the freezer make it easy to spread things out. I particularly like the fact that they are solid drawers rather than the wire baskets found in many models.
All in all, I'm pleased with this purchase and, with the Bosch name on the door, I trust it will give good service for a long time to come.
