Best dishwasher I have had
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have always had dishwashers that did a decent job cleaning except our last one. We have never owned a Bosch. My daughter bought hers and loved it. She scrapes but never rinses her dishes and theynalways came clean. Our old one quit so I looked at Consumer reports uand it listed several Bosch at the top ratings. I found the one that suited our needs. I love it. No more soaking the dishes before putting them inside. Everything comes out sparkling clean.

Awesome Dishwasher - Super Quiet and Cleans Great!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having previously owned several Bosch dishwashers, I was looking forward to installing the latest Bosch product when my 2005 Bosch product finally failed. The product looks great from the outside - sleek, minimalist finish that goes great with my kitchen. On the inside, I probably have 50% larger capacity given the way the unit's shelves are designed. Love the ability to move the second shelf for glass stemware. The unit is soooooo quiet - I often have to press my ear against the door to make sure it's on! And the sanitize and crystal dry features make sure the dishes and glassware are super clean. Once a cycle finished, the plates and flatware are always super hot - I generally allow some time for them to cool down before unloading. As for the app, love the ability to track usage and get notified of cycle completion. The app has the features I need, and is easy enough to use once you get used to where things are. Overall, love my new Bosch dishwasher and can highly recommend it to others looking for a good looking, well performing machine!

Loving the 800 series
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We've had the DW for just over 3 months now and it's just been great. It's shockingly quiet and leaves the dishes spotless. It's worth giving the drying agent a try too, our glass cups are much less streaky. Really happy with the layout of the racks too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My Bosch dishwasher is so quiet that I dont even know its running. The controls are easy to use and the dishes come out sparkling clean. I love the added tray for the sliverware and larger utensils. I would highley reccomend this product to anyone looking for a new dishwasher.

Would buy again
I always thought another brand was the best dishwasher made, until our Bosch. I will never buy another brand. This gets my dishes clean. I can load it up. It is so quiet. Cleans baking dishes cleaner than I can. My Husband likes how easy it is unload the silverware and cooking items. Will never buy another brand.

Whisper-Quiet and Sleek—Love This Dishwasher!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve only had the Bosch SHP78CM5N for about three weeks, but it’s already made a huge difference in our daily routine. With lots of baby bottles, tiny parts, kids’ cutlery, plates, spoons, and straws, we used to constantly run two loads a day. Now, thanks to the additional top rack, we’re down to just one load most days — and everything fits!
One of my favorite features is the lack of an exposed heating element. In my old dishwasher, small items would sometimes fall through the rack and get melted or damaged. That hasn’t been an issue at all with this one, which gives me a lot more peace of mind.
Overall, it’s quiet, efficient, and thoughtfully designed — especially for families. Highly recommend!

Loving it so far

i will say this. installing this dishwasher is tight. i know the Bosch's used every inch of space so swaping it out took a little more time than usual for me.
This thing runs silent! I mean it. if it wasn't for the water moving a plate or something inside i wouldn't know it was on.
everything comes out clean. i gave it some tough pots and to my surprise they were clean. like, wow.
it took a little getting used to in that there are so many options and ways to layout your dishes it slowed me down to figure out what the most efficient way to load it is. not a bad thing just a learning curve.
i like this dishwasher enought that if i move i might take it with me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We decided to to get an 800 series dishwasher because of Bosch's reputation and this series ticked all of the boxes. Well this thing cleans better than any dishwasher we ever had. We were unsure how it would do on drying without a heating element but this has been good at drying as well. Years will tell if this lives up to Boschs reputation for reliability. If so we will start upgrading the rest of our appliances

Great dishwasher but things they could improve
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I didn't realize that my old dishwasher was so bad until I bought the Bosch. You do not have to rinse off ANYTHING. It will get it clean. It is VERY quiet and I love the upper 3rd silverware rack. There are a few items that Bosch could improve. 1) The white light that comes on when it is operating needs to change to green when done and stay green until someone opens it so you are reminded that it needs to be unload. 2) I use lots of bowls and they do not all fit where Bosch has the tines. I need to be able to put them on the right side (where the utensile caddy I took out was as I do not need it). But the bowls will not keep upright as nothing is there to hold them that way. There needs to be a movable tine that you can raise up to keep bowls (or anything else) upright. If you have a large item, then you can lower it.

Very quiet with lots of customization options
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our old dishwasher broke and we decided on the Bosch 800 series for several reasons, mainly their reputation for a quality product. So far, we are pleased with the decision. I read so many reviews before deciding, so I am hopeful this will help others.
I am very impressed with how quiet the cleaning cycle is; I can barely hear it and rely on the indicator light to tell if I started it correctly. It gets dishes very clean with minimal rinsing or pre-cleaning. The middle rack is movable to accommodate various dish heights on either rack. I love that it is a sliding method and not just to height options like other brands. You can even make the rack lopsided if you have a variety of odd shapes for a particular load. The 3rd rack has a drop down options, expanding the available height of the 3rd rack as well. I'm not a big fan of the silverware in the 3rd rack, mostly bc it is time consuming to place everything orderly. I'd prefer to toss it in a silverware basket and be done with it. There is an add on option to purchase an extra silverware basket if you share my sentiment. I do like that the 3rd rack is removable. If you do use it for silverware, that makes it easy to carry to a silverware drawer. This was not a common feature for the 3rd rack in other brands.
The smart device app provides additional features you can't access from the dishwasher itself. It is easy to link and navigate the app. You *could* get by without the app if you preferred, but you can't use features like delayed start or adjust the amount of rinse aid used per cycle without the app.
The feature I was most excited about was the crystal dry. It claims to leave everything, even plastics, absolutely dry after the cycle is complete. While plastics were dryer than our previous dishwasher, they definitely aren't completely dry. I tried using a rinse aid (which we previously never did) with little impact. I attempted to delay the wash cycle so it ended right before we planned to empty it, that didn't make a difference either. The directions say to load everything so that there are no areas where water could collect. This seems obvious and easy, but most things like water bottles and plastic containers are bound to have some small areas where water collects. These products, in addition to items on the 3rd rack, tend to require additional drying when we unload the dishwasher. After my initial disappointment, I did some internet searches and found the crystal dry needs time to become effective and we should notice an improvement in a month or so. I will say, it does seem to have improved, but every load several items still require towel drying. Frustrating for sure, especially if you are like me and this was your primary reason for choosing this dishwasher. However, overall, I am still pleased with the purchase. I would caution others to temper your expectations around miraculously dry dishes, especially plasticware.

Cleans my dishes well
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the look of the stainless-steel finish on the exterior of this dishwasher. The racks have a different arrangement than my previous dishwasher had, but I figured out how best to load my dirty dishes. The cycles do clean my dishes well.

Great Dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like our new Bosch 800 Series Diswasher. It is extremely quiet, the 60 minute short cycle is all we use and it cleans everything very well. The dishwasher holds seveal days dishes, far more than our prior dishwasher. The top cutlery rack is flexable so we can put similar items together and when dry, pick them up and put them right in the drawers without resorting them.

Super quiet and efficient
Amazing unit, large, nearly silent, cleans well, a great upgrade from our old noisy one which would fail to drop the soap into the wash half the time. Not cheap but we can have a conversation in our kitchen at the same time as we’re running a wash, so that’s nice…

I don't understand why you need to start your appliance from your phone but what ever. It's much easier just to start it from the top of the dishwasher after you put soap in it. I do love my dishwasher .
