Replacement after 18 years

Great dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 800 series dishwasher is flawless so far (1 month). It cleans and dries exceptionally well. It has very flexible shelves for loading all sorts of sizes and shapes of things. The silverware drawer is particularly convenient and effective, and it ensures that all utensils are separated and thus thoroughly washed. The dishwasher makes almost no noise at all. Loudest noise heard is water rushing into the sink drain. Controls take a bit of getting used to, but they are both flexible and useful.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bosch Dishwasher SHX78CM6N is alot different from our previous two dishwshers. Our first was purchased in 1972 from a different manufacturer. Dishwashers then were a little bit different, porcelain interior, door not practically on the floor. It was replaced, not with a new one, but an almost identical one about 10 years later as a gift from my brother who said the color did not match his other new apppliances. This one lasted a real long time, until Dec 2024.
We were looking for one that actually dried the dished, like our old one. Many dishwashers today don't do that.
I like our new dishwasher, but I am still getting used to the rack configurations, they are different from what I am used to. I like the silverware rack on top, I love the way is cleans everything, I've only had one item that didn't come clean, and that was a spoon in the top rack that had some baked beans left on, but it had turned over during the cycle. I love the crystal dry. I like how quiet it is, even though it takes three times as long as our old one.
There is only one thing that I don't care for, and that is how low the door and lower rack is. Trip hazzard?
All in all I am extremely happy with this dishwasher.

It's easy to load, is super quiet to run and the dishes come out sparkling clean and dry. Even the plastic items are dry. The third shelf is very handy for utensils and small items like custard cups.

Great dishwasher
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cleans most items to the point of sparkling. I've only had to wipe off a couple items out of about 20 loads now. Dries really well but I'm not consistently getting "bone dry" results even with rinse aid on the Crystal Dry setting. Obviously, where water pools, it is not drying but everywhere else comes out dry. This is probably the best dishwasher I've ever had despite minor imperfections.

800 Series Bosch does the job
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are very satisfied with our 800. It is so quiet, we have to check the running lights to see if it's operating. The dishes come out clean every time and the cleaning settings give the machine a great deal of flexibility. This is our second Bosch. The first lasted 22 years and even then only broke a hose which could have been repaired but we decided to trade up.

Glad we decided to try it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am old enough to have had several dishwashers. Most of the brands and all about the same. So I decided to try an upgrade. I am so glad we did that. It indeed is quiet, but much more. Our dishes are cleaner than they have ever been. I only thought they were cleam before! Now they literally sparkle. It is taking us a while to figure out how to most efficiently load it. The design of the racks is different from others, but we are getting better at it and like it a lot.
One other thing. Be;ieve the instructions when they say to just touch the controls. Don't "mash" them down. Won't work and can't be good for the control panel.
We are glad we decided to try Bosch.

Quiet, sleek & perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher was purchased since our old cheaper dishwasher that came with our house died. This dishwasher is a breath of fresh air. It's extremely quiet and cleans the dishes well.
Pairing with the app was ok but when I tried to run the machine is gave me an error. Turns out the door on the detergent compartment needs to be closed before you can run it. After that it has been smooth sailing! Highly recommend

The Best Dishwasher Ever!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This has got to be the best dishwasher ever. Certainly the best one I've ever owned. It is replacing an LG toy, that was just over a year old. My friend recommended Bosch, and I am so glad I listened.
The machine is sturdy. The front door opens and closes easily, but you can feel the hinges; sturdy. The three racks are all thoughtfully designed and made of quality material. I ended up taking out the silverware basket and using the third rack for utensils. This gave me more room for our many larger bowls.
The machine will let you know when you're low on drying agent (Finish) by displaying a red light on the control panel. The machine is super quiet, which is why it's helpful that it shines a red light on the floor to let you know it's running. The light is small, about an inch in diameter. But helpful.
Dishes come out unbelievably clean.
So happy with my purchase. Wish I did this years ago.

Cleans like a maniac
I originally wnted to replace my Fisher & Paykel dish drawer with the same...but was out numbered by everyone with a Bosch. So... I'm so glad I gave in. It's like there's a little guy in there doing all the cleaning for me. And he's very quiet, hardly know it's running.
Love that it lets me know on my phone when its done, I like to open the door to let it air out.
FYI...be sure to have the installer make a high loop with the water hose...I had to call them back to do this for me, something I learned by reading the manual. But all is good and I'm extremely happy with the Bosch dishwasher.

Another excellent Bosch dishwasher
After 18 years, our Bosch dishwasher died. So we purchased the 800 series and am very happy with it.
Super quiet and has a red light the shines on the floor so you'll know it's running.
Love the top 3rd row tray.
Overall, super happy with Bosch.

Great Machine!

Nice product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Bosch 800 series replaces a JennAir product. We ordered the black finish which we really like. We had some issues linking the dishwasher Home app to our Android phones but it finally worked using our Samsung tablet. Very happy with the Bosch thus far. It cleans really well, much better than our JennAir, and is very quiet. Running it on its automatic cycle to this point, haven't yet explored other cycles, but quite pleased with the purchase!
