I did not want to have to dry dishes before putting them away and in talking with friends and reading reviews, I found that is frequently the case with many brands of dishwashers. The crystal dry does perform as I'd hoped!! This dishwasher is also so quiet, I thought at first I'd failed to start the cycle! The black stainless is elegant and I'm very happy with my purchase.

Much better than the old one it replaces. The last one you had to rinse the dishes completely. This one we just scrape off the big chunks and it does the rest.

Just scraping the dishes has been hard, but it cleans so well, I am gradually breaking this habit. With my old dishwasher, you practically had to clean the dishes before putting them in. I also love the top shelf where I can put utensils that don't fit anywhere else. I have seen no negatives, so I can't comment on that.
