[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 800 series gas cooktop has been a great update to our kitchen I looked at all other brands and found that Bosch to have the best quality and functionality the large center burner is great for fast cooking the grates are well placed from burners and remove easily for cleaning the 800 series is 1 inch wider then all other brands and installation was a breeze in my granite countertop instruction on conversion to LP gas was well written and easy to folllow

Bosch 800 Series gas cooktop
I've had this cooktop for just a few weeks and it's great, I really like it. It has five burners with all different sizes which makes it very convenient for different size pots and pans.

Easy to clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's nice to be able to cook something a second time and have it come out consistently well. The adjustable flames are a nice feature and I had always assumed that they all were that way. The burners are designed to stay clean and it's easy to keep the cooktop clean as everything comes apart easily with no tools needed. I've been cooking for 2 months now and the top still looks like the day it was installed.

New cooktop and stove Finally!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's been 15 plus years and we finally upgraded to the Bosch Cooktop and slide in stove. Acutally went to a 30 inch stove that replaced our 27 inch and my wife could not be happier. We also have one additional burner on the cooktop and both make cooking much more enjoyable.

Bosch 800 Series Combo Oven and Cooktop
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently had a new kitchen installed along with a Bosch 800 series Combo Oven and Cooktop. We feel like we have barely scratched the surface of what these appliances can do. The microwave also is a convection oven and the regular oven is also a convection oven. The list of features goes on and on, it can run circles around our previous range.

Installation improvements
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 2 things need to improve to make installation better. First is the conversion from natural gas to propane. The numbers on the jets are so small you need a microscope to read them. It would be easy for Bosch to tag each one with a legible tag. Second, put some pictures of the installed burner plates so it is easy to see how the all go.

Bosch Gas Cook Top - So far so good!

Front left burner has limited applications. Looks great.
Workinmg well so far. Buyer hint- get install dimensions before purchase or run the risk of additional cut out if your old 30" takes less space which is what happened in my case. All 30" inch stove top are not the same dimension for installation. It could cost you additional money to install depending on your vebndor.

In hind-sight I wish I had gotten the 36" as the burners are close together (naturally) when you have multiple pots on the stove. Burners are accurate and efficent. Relatively easy to clean, though I am still getting used to stainless steel. I would purchase this again, but in the 36" size.

Great performance- difficult to keep clean
I bought this unit to replace an electric cooktop in my new home- it is lovely and it functions well. My only 'but' is that everytime I cook sometlhing and there is spatter or anything spills, cleaning it is a nightmare...I have had this issue with other gas cooktops- it is not only Bosch...

Knobs deteriorate
I installed the NGM8058UC model 9 months ago. The look is great and the performance has been disappointing. Middle burner is too hot at lowest setting when fully engaged (4) leaving only one burner option for large pans where I feel like I have good enough heat control. Biggest issue is the knobs whose plastic connection has crumbled in 4 of 5 knobs in just 9 months. I've had to spend 25 each to get them replaced. Bosch warns against removing these to clean, which I have been doing a couple times a month... so may be the issue. Either way, the knobs are very delicate and not cheap to replace.
