Best kitchen investment ever
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Between its sleek look, the ultra-fast response to the controls, the helpful built-in features, and its ease of cleanup, our Bosch 800 series induction cooktop is without question the best investment we have ever made in our kitchen.
We bought it to replace a (Bosch) gas 5 burner cooktop, both because inadvertent spills over its 13 years had caused the gas cooktop to look a little too well-used, and because we felt the need to migrate away from fossil fuels in our home. We anticipated a learning curve
and we knew that we would have to upgrade our cooktop electrical circuit to 40 amps to be able to use the induction cooktop, but felt it was worth it.
We were so right! There was virtually no learning curve: it took little more than 2 meals for us to understand the cooktop's heating speed, its most useful settings, and its ease of use. The Auto Chef feature enhances the cooktop's usefulness by assuring a constant temperature for foods that require longer cooking times to cook all the way through. And cleanup is so quick, easy and inexpensive, with merely a household vinegar and water mix sprayed on the glass, followed by a good wipe-down with lint-free cloths. Still looks like the day we installed it.
Speaking of installation, in our case it required only the simplest re-working of gas cooktop's existing butcherblock cutout for the induction cooktop to fit.
This unit checks every box for what we were looking for: ease of cooking, ease of cleaning, free of fossil fuel pollution. This is why I say it has been our best kitchen investment ever.

Love this cooktop!
I replaced a gas cooktop with the Bosch induction cooktop. It is SO much easier to cleean, and (bonus!) the hood above the cooktop stays much cleaner, too. The speed of bringing liquids to boiling is very fast. I also like the "keep warm" feature, and the automatic shut off feature.

Love it!

When you want to turn down the heat, it is an immediate change. I like the different sizes for the zones. Really enjoy cooking with it.

Great Product
I bought this product as a replacement of an old model. This one works perfect. First, it fits into the cut out perfectly. Second, it is very easy to use with lots of safety features. Third, it is much more effecient. Heating up is at least three times faster than before. It cools down also faster. Overwall, it is a great product with a brand that you can trust.

First experience with induction cooktops

Of course the caveat being that I have to let go some of my exisiting cookware since they are not induction compatible.

Love my new induction cooktop

While we were preplumbed for gas we decided to go for an induction cooktop and this was the best decision ever. I have had gas in the past and loved it but with induction you get even better control. The cooktop is sleek and beautiful. There is a bit of a learning curve and I did have to replace a couple of pans but I LOVE it.

Easy Transition From Gas to Induction
I used an induction hotplate during my kitchen renovation to help me to transition to induction cooking. Using the Bosch cooktop was even easier. I am amazed at how quickly everything cooks on my Bosch induction cooktop, not just boiling water. From bacon & eggs to grilled cheese, it's all quick and easy. I start out at 9, then adjust the numbers down and back up as needed. Occassionally, I have to be quick to avoid boil over, but if it does, it is easy to clean up. After having a gas stove with heavy grates, it's a breeze to clean the cooktop with a warm soapy sponge cloth.

Love it! Auto chef has helped with the learning curve. Using cook pads with cast iron and enjoy using them again. My regular pots are also compatible. No scorching or scraping due to uneven heat. Easy clean with vinegar water!

So Happy to Have Induction Cooking Again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased this 36" induction cooktop seven years ago for my new house. It was my first induction cooktop and I loved it. It was so quick and didn't heat up the kitchen like a normal electric cooktop. After we moved and lived in a rental house for a year, we suffered with the 30" smooth top electric range. I didn't realize the huge difference that a 36" cooktop could make! And the electric cooktop got so hot, as well as the kitchen! I am so happy to have the Bosch 800 Series induction cooktop again. This newer version has the controls much more clearly marked and I still love the fifth cooking element that can hold a large stock pot. I'm so happy to have induction cooking again!

Bosch 800 Series Induction Cooktop - love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We switched from a gas cooktop to this WiFi Bosch induction cooktop and are so impressed that it heats up even faster than the gas cooktop burners. Our primary reason for buying induction was for the WiFi connectivity that provides safety features we need. We are older and were forgetting to turn off our gas burners, which led us to decide to replace gas with a WiFi induction cooktop that we can control remotely via a phone app. This safety feature provides peace of mind when we leave the house now. While WiFi was our priority function when we selected the Bosch cooktop, its simple design with burners that heat up very quickly, as well as ease of cleanup make this unit just perfect for us. We are more than satisfied with the Bosch induction cooktop with WiFi.

Spectacular Bosch Induction cooktop

It took a little bit of work to find the best cookware but after that, we just kept liking induction more and more. Even something as simple as boiling water was faster on the cooktop than on the microwave. New users will need to adjust their preparation to work with the faster cooking time of induction. Try it, you will like it once you get over the initial learning.

The only stove I've ever been able to keep clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When i was young i had an electric stove with the coils. When I got my first house I had a gas stove. My gas stove was great. Thousands of meals and still kicking. But boy were these old stoves a hassle to clean. Usually, they just stay dirty, and oily, and crumby.
The Bosch i bought for my upgraded new kitchen was a bit of a splurge. I'm not really using the smart features yet, just the standard stove. I'll get into the smart stuff later when i want to try it for some complicated things like sauces. But using it for the past few months for just typical cooking has been magical. it heats up extremely fast. it maintains temperature steadily. It's quiet with only a small hum or buzz at the highest settings. And it's compact. I could fit a whole set of pans storage under it. The biggest thing, i think , is it's a breeze to clean. I got cooktop cleaner made specially for the glass. Because the glass top itself doesn't get very hot it doesn't carbonize material onto the surface. That means that at worst you're just doing a gentle pressure to remove anything that's been cooked by radiative heat from the pan. No more greasy trough of oil and crumbs. no more carbonized burner grates. Just a clean, effective, efficient and safe cooking surface.
I use AllClad D3 and a set of cast iron. They work great. Basically can't recommend this enough. The smart features might be great, but the real win how easy it is to clean because you're cooking with magic magnets.

Loving it so far
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I moved and the new house had a gas range, so annoying to cook with after having inductive, no real control of heat, just a knob that you try to guess how hot it will be and boiling water, bring a book. So glad to be back to inductive, super fast and precise and can't light my house on fire and don't have to deal with emissions from burning gas in my house. I chose the 800 series as I like the half increments on the power scale to be even more precise, water boils so quick and it looks very nice all black on my black granite. No issues so far, the wifi connection I don't find super useful but it is nice that you get a phone alert when the timer expires and hoping to get a new power downdraft unit from Bosch which will let me pair them so it goes up and done when you turn burners on and off, then the wifi will be really nice to link the appliances together.
