The perfect espresso machine
A month ago, right before Christmas, I decided to take the plunge into an espresso machine. The Barista Touch Impress has exceeded my expectations. I was looking for better coffee - it delivers. I was wanting to be able to control my brew and it delivers with ease. It allows me to dial in my coffee grind quickly without waste and the workflow is very intuitive. I even had to bring it with me on my latest RV trip.

Allows the drink customization I want
Bought 2 months ago and love coffee from internal grinder, lever tamping, one-touch puck draw and customizable milk steaming or manual steaming. I want my coffee to be a smidge stronger than is drawn. So, I run draw for 10 seconds more through same puck and then manually steam milk to make super fluffy foam using whole milk. And the convenience of adjustability in the ability to do that is exactly why I bought this unit. To me, the foam makes or breaks the cup of coffee.

What a good decision
I compared many brands and technologies of coffee machines and I really came up with the best conclusion, beyond the cost benefit, that to tell the truth, it is worth paying to enjoy an extraordinary coffee. Every day is worth it because the day begins and ends with an exquisite coffee.

Love the Touch Impress
We decided to purchase the Breville Barista Touch Impress in Sep 2024 and honestly, I am glad we made the purchase. The touch impress is my wife's and I first breville product and after reading all of the reviews from here as well as from reddit, I was almost deterred from even purchasing one. I decided to give it a shot after watching many video reviews praising the machine as a capable espresso machine.
I honestly have no regrets after three months of ownership and have used the machine everyday for the last three months; and I do mean everyday (we love coffee). This thing is a workhorse. As I mentioned, even though this was our first breville machine, we did get to play around with an Oracle numerous times from a friends house as well as the Barista Touch and honestly, this machine is quite refined compared to those.
I personally have never had any problem with the Touch Impress. One thing I did have issues with at first was finding the right grind setting. The default grind setting was not cutting it even after adjusting the dial. After removing the inner burr and adjusting it manually, I never had any issues again finding the right grind size.
Hope this helps somebody and help with the decision making. I do plan on making any updates if any issues should arise with our Touch Impress.

Love it!
We bought the machine back in May 2024, and have no regrets. We are newbies at making espresso drinks and chose this one because we needed the guidance the machine provides. There is still a small learning curve, but it has been a lot of fun. We stick to the basic drinks and don’t have reason to save our preferences, so so that feature is not useful to us. The drinks it produces are delicious and make the mornings special. Highly recommend this machine, as it has been useful and fun. And it is beautiful, too! :)

I'm ruined now!
The Barista Touch Impress (purchased about 6mo ago) has been incredible. Very easy to use and maintain, it takes all of the guess work out of making my lattes and espresso, while still giving me flexibility that I want. I don't think I'll be able to go back to being a person without an espresso machine again. I'm totally ruined now thanks to this little device.

just do it!
I bought the Breville Touch Impress a couple months ago. I have enjoyed the ease of making a great cup of cappuccino every day since. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but worth every penny. If your considering the purchase, go ahead and just buy it.

The Barista Touch Impresses Me!
I've always loved coffee, or thought I loved coffee. I really liked my Nespresso machine and the way it made perfect shots with milkshake-thick crema...but it wasn't until I took a chance and invested in this machine that I changed my mind about the way I was preparing coffee. I didn't pay enough attention to freshly-ground and freshly roasted coffee. But now that i've been using freshly roasted and ground coffee I'm making drinks that are every bit as good as my favorite artisan coffee shops!

Our family is now a bunch of espresso snobs!
Since we got this machine we no longer enjoy coffee from anywhere else - which has actually saved us a bunch of money. We've had the machine since Christmas 2023 and I can't imagine life without one of these now. Being able to make it at home has made getting up in the morning so nice. Going through the whole routine of making your coffee with the sounds and smells and the flavor at the end is something to look forward to when you go to bed at night. And the machine tells you when to do things like what to clean to do maintenance, which is very handy. My only "complaint" about this machine is that once you create your own coffee and save it in the menu, if other people change things when they use the machine, like the cup size or type, it changes it also in your personalized setting, which seems to defeat the purpose of having the option to save your own personalized coffee.

Personal barista
I love the ease of use of making a perfect cup of many varieties of espresso drinks and more. Hardly any learning curve. No mess or fuss. Well worth the price. You wont regret it. I upgraded from Barista express due to the inconsistency from human factor and the mess from the grounds before and after tamping.

Makes the best Espresso
I have had quite a few high end home machines over the last 40 years and this one is the only one that gets me the perfect espresso almost every time. It does require adjusting the grind when ever you get a new batch of beans.

We purchased this machine about a month ago, and we have been enjoying it. We both like different drinks, and this machine handles it like a dream. Takes the guess work out of it, which is good because we have no knowledge of being a barista.

What’ a great purchase! This upgrade is everything. You want an americano to taste like one and a cappuccino to taste like one? Get this Machiene. It pressurizes the beans to exactly the level for each distinctive coffee you want. It steams the milk from the oat milk based on the level of pressure that it needs as well. I love this Machiene. It’s a worthy price upgrade if you’re looking at the regular Machiene.

Espresso made EASY
I bought this machine a while ago and have been using it regularly. The touch screen is very intuitive and the machine operation is very EASY! Dialing in the perfect puck is totally automatic so no worries making the perfect espresso. I love experimenting with the different coffee types. If you are looking for an espresso machine, look no further, this is the one.

Slightly taller but NO MESS
Two key things to know if you're deciding between the Touch and the Touch Impress:
DIMENSIONS: if you have this slid under your cabinets, the Impress may not fit.
The Barista Touch Impress (12.9"D x 13"W x 16.4"H) is a tiny bit taller and than the Touch (12.7"D x 15.5"W x 16"H) and the Barista (12" x 12 1/4" x 14 1/2" )
It's still designed to sit countertop under upper cabinets, but with the hopper, JUST barely, and where my Barista and Barista Touch could slide back and forth easily, the Impress cannot fit under the decorative molding. I will have to saw off a portion of it (considering!) or reach under my cabinet and remove the hopper every time I want to refill the beans or the water tank.
THAT SAID: it's worth either relocating it to its own bar cart or modifying my upper cabinet molding because it is a huge upgrade from the Barista Touch, for several reasons.
1. NO MESS. No more wiping up grounds off your counter every puck you compress. It's a fully enclosed grinding/puck-making chamber from which emerges a perfectly dosed, compressed and shaved-off puck. This likely is what makes it taller since this eats up vertical space on the front of the machine.
2. Intellidose. This machine will allow you to change your grind size, and then the first few times you grind your coffee, it will have you keep pressing the grind icon until it's just right ...once or twice, then it remembers. Every time you change your coffee beans you may have an adjustment within the machine, every time you change your grind size it will also recalibrate. You can turn this default feature off, but I LOVE it!
3. Tray shield. Small, but huge improvement: There is a hard plastic shield that clacks on to the bottom front edge of the machine where your cups and froth jug and all of that activity on your drip tray continually scrape against. I have the white Barista Touch and unfortunately that drip tray front edge is worn off and looks raggedy after less than a year. This is a good upgrade.
The touch screen interface is a bit more intuitive on the Impress as well and for just the lack of mess alone, and the 'intellidose' feature where you really can't screw it up, the Impress is definitely worth a few extra bucks.

Perfect Intersection
I wanted to buy an Espresso Machine but was torn between automatic and manual versions. I liked the idea of fully automatic but also like a bit of process involvement. The main thing that excited be about the Touch Impress was that I wouldn't have to watch a dial for temperature (I get interrupted for work issues), and I wasn't certain about tamping the filter. Then there's the milk foaming. If I didn't work and had time to get into the Barista vibe, I might go more manual. With the Touch Impress, it takes just enough involvement to understand how to make adjustments and then helps you adjust and then saves your settings. It's the perfect intersection between manual and automatic espresso making for me. And, for two months, it has been delicious!

Very Nice Machine
We wanted an espresso machine but we do not want to become a barista. We are not really interested in having to weigh the grind, making sure it is tamped properly, timing the extraction, etc.... We just wanted good drinks.
We considered capsule machines as well as super automatics. Then we came across the Barista Touch Impress. After looking at countless YouTube revews, we became very interested in it but the price was a bit tough to swallow. When I saw the 20% off sale we quickly jumped on it. It has only been a couple of weeks and we couldn't be happier with it. We are not hardcore espresso people by any means. The drinks are great and the steam wand does a very good job too.
The only minor complaint we have is the 2 bags of beans we received from Beanz from registering the machine. They were horrible tasting and undrinkable. They were free, so it is what it is. We have been using Starbucks beans with a double-wall filter.

Great Machine
This machine is a winner. I love espresso drinks, but I'm an amateur. I realized that I need a machine that would essentially do all the work for me. This machine does so, and it's been a big hit in my household. If I eventually develop some true expertise, I can take the steering wheel from the machine, but until then, I'll enjoy the machine knowing what it's doing. Three thumbs up!

Best machine ever
I’m not in the market to be a barista, and I think doing foam art is a long shot, but this is literally the easiest machine to use. I get the best drinks at the touch of a few bottoms , with fresh ground beans. This thing does it all! I promise
