Excellent Chair but Color Not as Expected
The Catnapper Buckley Power Lift recliner in the Portabella color is much darker than pictured online. It looks light tan online, but it's actually a light brown color so buyers beware if you are trying to match your decor. Other than that, it's an excellent chair and my mom loves it. She recently had knee surgery and the chair does all of the work for her in terms of standing. Additionally, the leg rests are excellent. This recliner was a great buy, but I was just disappointed with the actual color. I still gave it 5 stars though...

Very practical
Very comfortable and quiet. It goes down so you can sleep comfortably if needed. And having bad knees it is great with the lift feature to be able to get up.

Great chair and Service
My husband was about to have shoulder replacement surgery so we purchased this power lift recliner so he could sleep at night and get up easily when he needed. The chair has been great, it works well and is very comfortable. Compared to other similar chairs we priced, PC Richards had the best value. Service and delivery was great. We got the chair delivered the day after we purchased it, on a Sunday!! We were also very pleased with our salesman you gave us very good service. Great chair, value and service!!! Love PC Richards.

Mom Can Continue To Live At Home With This Chair
I purchased this Catnapper Buckley Power Lift Recliner for my 88 year old mother who just came out of Rehab. Facility. She could no longer climb the stairs to sleep in her bedroom and she was given a hospital bed that I had set up on her main level. Due to her mobility and health problems she could not manage to get in/out of the hospital bed, she hated it. I remembered that a Power Lift Chair that I purchased for my husband helped him remain living at home - so I purchased the above described Power Chair for my mother. This chair and this company was a lifesaver for my mother! The chair is so comfortable and cushioned so well that she can sleep in this chair, as well as sit in it during the day. The only negative is that she cannot lift her legs up separately without the recliner going back as well. My husband's chair had separate mechanisms, but my mother still loves this Buckley chair. She may not have been able to remain at home, with some home care, if it wasn't for this Power Lift Chair. Ordering went smoothly and delivery was on time and set up by great guys. Thank you.

Faulty seat
After 2 weeks with chair I noticed something starting to penitrate the seat. Not sure what it is, maybe a spring but it's definitely metal and will rip through the fabric. I called for repair and it would be two weeks before someone Icould come out and look at it. Hopefully nothing serious but though a more immediate response is warranted. Hopefully it will be addressed and I will have a more positive reply when its taken care of.

Your chair is awful
My husband had MAJOR spinal surgery. I purchased this chair the day before he came home from over a month in a nursing home.
IT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST CHAIR EVER
IT DOESNT “RECLINE” FULLY AT ALL AND ITS ABSOLUTELY NOT IN ANY WAY YHE SAME CHAIR I SAT IN AT THE STORE WHEN I BOUGHT IT. ITS TERRIBLE AND TBE WORST MONEY OVER $500 IVE EVER SPENT

Is this chair good for people who have back surgery?
I have no idea what special requirements a person with back surgery would have. My husband is 94 and cannot get up from the living room furniture. He spends all day in the recliner either sitting upright or reclining. The chair is comfortable and supportive. The seat is a bit deep so sometimes he slumps. But it is very easy for him to stand up from this chair and walk with his walker.

Yes, it does recline to a comfortable sleeping position. I believe it comes with a warranty and you can opt to purchase an extended warranty.
