Easy to use; Easy to Clean
Blends effortlessly. Handle is a bit heavy. The container would benefit by a rubber ring on the bottom to prevent movement.

Excellent Performance and Versatility
This goes way beyond expectations! I love the convenience and simplicity of the immersion blender, especially because I can use it directly in a pot, bowl, measuring cup or glass. But being able to use the same handle for the chopper and the whisk takes this to the max! I made spaghetti sauce and cheesecake for the same meal with minimal downtime for rinsing - the blender stick went straight into the sauce pot and pulverized those tomatoes and herbs into smooth perfection. Then I crushed graham crackers in mere seconds and whipped the cream cheese filling without having to drag out several bowls for the job. Speaking of the chopper, I learned that I can flip the blade over to get a different grade of cut depending on the foodstuffs so it is even more versatile than originally thought. The blender stick also makes the silkiest mashed potatoes ever in less than 2 minutes - that saves time and energy. I am so glad I got this and recommend it to any busy cook who wants to keep things moving along, including cleanup. I love it!

My new Cuisinart smart stick
When I requested an immersion blender for Christmas, I never dreamed that I would get a “smart stick” that would take the place of a chopper, grinder, smoothie maker and immersion blender. I am so please with the versatility of this product.

Love this!
I love this thing! I burned out my old immersion blender so I got this as a replacement. This has also replaced my food processor for chopping up onions. It comes with a measuring cup (really handy when blending up homemade mayo) and a cup and chopper for onions. Although, it is kinda small, so I have to cut the onion up and chop in segments. It still beats using the food processor which has so many parts that need cleaning afterwards.
I'm very happy with this purchase.

So far, so good...
I've had this stick blender for a couple of months so far, and it has been great. I've used it several times, and I'm impressed by the feel of it. I haven't really used the variable speed feature, and the locking mechanism, while I understand is a safety feature, is a bit of a hassle. My other stick blender lasted many years before the top and bottom parts began to wear away. This one clicks together smoothly and doesn't seem to have the same problem. I went with the Cuisinart brand because of the known quality.

very pleased overall
easy to use, multiple functions. I found the "chopper" was not as effective as my Cuisinart food processor, but I guess that's to be expected, as that is not its primary function.

Its okay
Although I like it so far, the motor seems loud, and im not loving the two buttons, for someone with bad hand arthritis, its very cumbersome to have to push a safety button before you can turn the unit in, not a good design

I don't like that you have to hold down the lock button to operate the on switch! Terrible design on the button!

Not in love
My hand starts to cramp as it is difficult to keep the unlock button pressed and press the power button simultaneously. I find it to not be as user friendly as I had hoped.

Might want to find an alternative
this item is not as user-friendly as I'd hope. The On/Off button set up is very cumbersome & if you have any arthritic issues, forget this one, as you have to one-hand operate this machine. It's not easy to figure out the problem(s) until after you open and use the product so I can't return it.
