Rated 5 out of 5 by Manuel_Z from Pretty good Transmitter I just bought this transmitter that is 16 years old for $3. What's cool about this model (DU7106) is that it transmits on ANY FM frequency! I opened it up and the antenna is simply a wire stuck to the back inside wall of the case so I drilled a small hole and I added wire. the 4" antenna is now a 24" antenna and I can now get a signal from my neighbors house across the street. The only concern I have is there is a plug on the side of the unit and it does not transmit or receive signal. Is it for external power? Does anyone know

Q&A

Does anyone know what the jack on the side of the unit is for? I don't want to plug a power adapter to it and fry my unit. It does not transmit or receive signal so I'm guessing it's to power the unit indoors.
