Care & Cleaning
DO NOT lubricate or immerse in water any part of this child restraint, unless rinsing is permitted plastic and metal parts may be wiped clean with mild soap and water and dried with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents. Take care not to damage any labels. The harness can be wiped clean with mild soap and water. Allow harness to air dry. Machine wash the seat pad separately in cold water, delicate cycle. Tumble dry 10 to 15 minutes on low heat. Periodically inspect and clean the restraint's crotch buckle of food, liquids, and other debris to ensure proper latching. Place the buckle in a cup of warm water and gently agitate the buckle back and forth. Press the red button several times while the buckle is in the water. Do not submerge the harness strap. To avoid damage to the buckle, do not clean the buckle with soap or detergents and do not use a lubricant.

Comfortable and functional
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car seat is a dream for toddlers! It’s like riding in first class. We have it set up in the forward facing harness position, and our toddler loves it. She can see out the window, has her sippy cup next to her in the cup holder, and has a comfortable, soft headrest. I love that we can put the seat in rear-facing even at her size, which we do for safety when we are going to be traveling on the highway or overnight. The extra legroom is great and was the main reason we couldn’t continue to use our previous car seat from when she was younger in the rear-facing position. The only issue we had was that it is challenging to tighten. Otherwise, we love it! We also find that it is comfortable for her while being compact enough for a full car.

Comfort and Quality!

This car seat has it all- comfort, sleek looks, ease of use, and the ability to fit in a car with multiple car seats. My son is 18 months, and 99th percentile for both height and weight. This made me a little nervous to try him in a car seat marketed as “slim”, but there is no lack of room for comfort while he rides in it! There was no push back to get into a new seat, which is an added bonus. As we prepare to welcome our second child, I love that this car seat leaves plenty of room in the back seat of my car. The installation was very clear and straightforward. I feel confident in the safety of the car seat as it is installed securely. The fabric on the seat is soft and comfortable, and after reading the manual seems easy to wash. I look forward to continuing to use this car seat with my son as he grows and the car seat is able to grow with him!

All4Stages Slim 4-IN-1 Convertible Car Seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The All4Stages Slim 4-IN-1 Convertible Car Seat was given to me through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I’m glad to have it now.
When it arrived, all of the pieces were in the box along with the clear, simple instructions. The cup holders were very easy to snap into place. (My toddler decided to use one as a play cup, so only one of them is attached in the pictures, but it comes with two.)
While installing it in the car, I found that the easiest way was front facing with the seatbelt being simple to weave through. I found that part easier than other car seats I’ve used. Rear facing, the anchor strap wasn’t quite long enough for our vehicle, so we went with front facing. If my child was younger and needed to be rear facing, I’d have to reach out to the company to ask for a longer strap.
My son was comfortable. I liked all the cushion inserts that came with the seat as well, creating a snug environment for my son to sit in. The seat was easy to adjust, as well. There are six recline options and an adjustable headrest. I’m very excited to be able to use this all the way through booster mode! I’d recommend this car seat.

Best slim fit car seat, ingenious design
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat from the Stellar Product testing panel to test and share my opinion.
I was really impressed with the design. When I took it out of the box it smelled a little, but after the first wash there was no more possibly toxic smell from flame retardants. The first thing I did was, wash all the covers. They were easy to remove, which is a big plus with a potty training child. The 4 in one transition is very ingenious and easy to switch seat belts and hook them into storage.
The slim fit model is perfect for our medium size sedan, where 3 kids share the back seat.: 2, 9 and 6 yo. With other car seats my toddler had to be in the middle, which was hard to put her in and take her out. But with the Evenflo All4stages slimfit, she fits behind the driver seat. That’s because the backwards facing position has 2 options and older toddlers sit up more. My toddler loves to see more of the world as we drive. That makes life so much easier.
It would fit with another slim car seat right next to it. And a booster also fit, but it was near impossible to reach the seatbelt buckle, so my kiddo wouldn’t be able to use it independently with our car. Luckily my 9 yo doesn’t need a booster anymore. Now we fit 3 kids comfortably with 2 slim fit seats and none in the middle.
The cupholders are also very handy and not invading space too much. They fit her water bottle which is a little wider. It's a great addition.
The install is super easy. I love the squeeze buckles that make it super easy to use the anchors. Especially taking it out will be a breeze.
Right now we are in rear facing mode. But this seat is so well designed that I might use it as a booster all the way through. With other car seats that had that option, it would be impossible for my kiddo to reach over the bulky seat and reach the buckle independently. With 3 kids I need the older ones to be able to buckle up, as soon as they can. So I didn’t use that function and keep using the 5 point harness. I have high hopes this car seat will be a good back booster and booster too. I also try to leave my kids rear facing as long as possible, because it’s safer. With this seat I am confident we can safely use the rear position for a long time. My toddler fits spaciously and the extra head rest support gives really good coverage and is adjustable as it grows with the child. My kids are slender and will possibly fit till 10 yo.
For us a slimfit model means we don’t have to upgrade our car, and car seats are much cheaper than cars. So the price point would definitely be worth it for us.

Super easy install, game changer on features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the best car seat I've used hands-down. Out the box, there was nothing to assemble outside of the detachable cup holders. The storage system for the latch belts is super convenient as I've always hated the way they dangle and just kind of drag everywhere. I also love how the latch clips push into place with a click and I don't have to shove my hand in the seat awkwardly trying to hold the clip open. The system for tightening the latch straps is also super easy and not awkward like others that force you to stick your arm under the seat The try and pull it taught enough. The pull up height adjustment is amazing. When my last son was born, the car seat test was a pain because I had to completely remove the straps and rethread them to find the right height twice. This was unbelievably hard as I was recovering from a C-section and was exhausted from my son spending two weeks in the NICU. On this seat, it takes one hand to move the height up or down, completely eliminating the need to remove the straps. That's a game changer for me! The recline feature is also real cool and very easy to switch it from a full recline to sitting straight up as the baby gets bigger and their needs change. Making this car seat so adaptable to truly be an all stages car seat is so important to me. I'm pregnant with my sixth child and car seats have been a ridiculous expense as they grow and change so fast. With my last son, I finally made the switch over to an all stage seat but it is not as great as this one is. It also come with all the padding so there isn't a need to buy extra adjusters or anything to keep baby well positioned. Lastly, the overall size of this seat is perfect. It's so much slimmer than my one year old's current seat which makes all the difference in our small SUV. Once the new baby arrives, we will be at mac seating capacity in our car so every few inches counts to make sure everyone can fit comfortably. I absolutely love this seat and will recommend to anyone else in the market for one. I've included pictures to show the small footprint it takes up in the car, the handy latch tightening system, and the different recline seat options. Easy to install safe carseat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are expecting baby number three and have been concerned about fitting three car seats into our car. Enter the All4Stages Slim 4-IN-1 car seat! What appealed to me about this seat was its slim design as we have never used a slim convertible car seat and it seemed like the best option to meet our needs. We have been very impressed with this seat thus far! It was incredibly easy to install which is ideal when transferring a seat between cars (which we sometimes do for grandparents). I also found it super easy to navigate between the various “modes” taking it from infant to rear facing, etc with ease. We have had lots of experience with various convertible car seats and this installation was one of the easiest in my experience. It’s a sleek looking car set that not only impressed me from a comfort standpoint, but also appears to be very safe for our new baby. The best part: it fit alongside our other car seats so that we have peace of mind when driving our three children. This car seat will be with us for a long time and I am thankful we have this option for a newborn through their booster days. Easy convertible car seat!

This car seat is absolutely slimmer than the average car seat. We currently just upgraded our 3 year old to this as she was still in a rear facing nuna. It fits her slim body and she loves facing forward. The cup holders are not in the way to the door or center console in comparison to the nuna. We also have a 6 year old in another graco high back booster using the seatbelt path and this is slimmer than that one. The 6 year old did not fit into it comfortable as the headrest was pretty slimming for a boys head and he did not like that. Our daughter is much smaller and we’ll see how she grows into the headrest.
When installing, the straps were tangled up when trying to use the latch system and readjusting the belt buckle at the bottom but was actually super easy to maneuver and figure out. After that mix up, it was a breeze to install and super light weight again also compared to the nuna. So this will be super easy to pass between my husband’s car and mine.
We are actually in the talks of expanding our family and this a factor considering we have a smaller suv. So we’ll see how this could fit if we switched the 6 year old to another slim option.
Overall I was skeptical when you see this “slim” options as a first time parent you don’t even know what’s considered slim or not, lol, but it was awesome to receive this and confirm that I will be purchasing another in the future!

Affordable comfort
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We need to be able to fit three car seats across our middle row (2024 Honda Odyssey) and the Evenflo All4Stages Slim 4-in-1 convertible car seat allows us to do that! It measures at 16.9” wide which is definitely a selling factor for those with multiple children. It is lightweight and very easy to install. The latches are solid and the seatbelt synched with ease. The four modes and 12 height adjustments allows this car seat to be used for all ages, and for all percentiles. The infant insert is nicely cushioned, providing a stable yet soft area for newborns. You know your infant is secure in this seat, for sure. Our toddler who is 3, weighs 45 lbs and is 42” tall, fit comfortably forward facing. The cup holders location is a nice touch as they’re more towards the front vs the sides as with other seats, which allows my toddler to be able to actually reach her cups vs me having to do it for her. The best feature about this seat is the fact that it grows with your child! You can get one seat and know that it’ll last for the duration of your child’s needs.

Why I Wish I Bought This Sooner

Amazing Convertible Car Seat – Perfect for Growing Families!

Initially, I planned to use this seat for my infant, but the moment we unpacked it, my 2-year-old daughter fell in love with it. She climbed in, declared it her throne, and refused to give it up—tears included! So, we decided to let her use it, and it’s been a game-changer for our family.
The slim design is a standout feature. We have a midsize SUV, and this car seat fits seamlessly in the back alongside my older child’s booster seat, with room to spare for another passenger. It’s so nice not having to wrestle for space or feel like the backseat is overcrowded.
The four modes of this seat are incredible! Right now, we’re using it in the forward-facing harness mode for my toddler, but I love knowing it will grow with her as she transitions to a high-back booster and eventually a backless booster. Car Seat to grow with your child!

This car seat is slim, but bulky enough to make your child feel secure and safe. My child felt high up and on top of the world and very secure in his new seat! Being able to have a rear-facing seat, forward-facing seat, booster with a back and no back is such a relief for time and money sake. Not having to deal with all of the changes in the car over and over and buying many car seats over the years with a child makes this car seat so worth the investment! Install was easy and worked well, just make sure you get it nice and tight and to the right reclining position if forward facing. My son was nice and snug in his new seat, but also very comfortable for anything that came his way. Evenflo, way to go on this one!

A Car Seat that will Last!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car seat is not only safe but also functional. I love that it has four modes that will be able to accompany my daughter as she grows up. Currently, my daughter is two years old, so she is rear-facing. The installation in rear-facing mode is very simple, and it takes less than five minutes. The car seat itself has many stickers/labels on it along with a clear manual to make the process easy. Even if you have zero experience with car seat installation, the manual combined with the clear illustrations make the process a breeze.
This car seat is also slim, so I don’t feel like I am losing a bunch of space in my back seat. I am currently pregnant, so I needed a car seat that could fit alongside my infant’s car seat. I also appreciate the fact that the car seat itself weighs a reasonable amount, so I’m not struggling to install it if I need to switch cars.
My toddler loves to snack in the car, so it is very important to me to have a car seat that can be easily thrown in the washer. The fabric on this car seat comes off very easily, and it is not hard to put back on. The cup holders are also dishwasher safe, so I can give the seat a deep clean whenever necessary.
As my daughter gets older, she will eventually be forward-facing, and I love that I will not have to buy another car seat. The forward-facing mode along with the rear-facing mode has multiple options for installation, so you can choose whichever option makes the most sense for your situation.

This car seat is designed to grow with your child, which means it can be used from infancy all the way through booster seat age. Exactly What We Needed!

It came at the perfect time since I had been on the market for a car seat to use in our grandparents car. I wanted to find a car seat that was easy to install, safe for my children to ride in and could grow with my children. This car seat checks off all of those boxes! I currently have 2 children, one rear facing and one forward facing. I love that grandma will have the ability to use this seat for both children since it can be used to meet each of their needs. I also love that she will not have to invest in another car seat as the children grow up and move into booster seats. Installing car seats can be quite intimidating because you want to ensure that your kids are safe, but this was straight forward and easy to follow. I am so excited to continue testing out this car seat as my children grow and move through the different stages of car seats!

Great carset for install and fit, with only minor annoyances
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was eager to test out this slim car seat thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel. My toddler is 2, and I tested this seat out in the rear-facing position. Having reviewed the instructions for the other modes, I'm expectant that this product will continue to serve us well as my toddler grows, although I don't have personal experience in the front-facing or booster seat modes to compare this seat to.
The installation was very straightforward and easy, although I do wish the seat came with bubble-level feature to help verify the seat is level. Everything went together well, although I did receive one incorrect cupholder. There were notes inside the owner's manual stating to not use the carseat without the cupholders installed, so I was initially disappointed. However, the company was swift to send out a replacement, and once I had both cupholders installed, everything was perfect. I was relieved that despite its installation on the drivers side of my car, there was still plenty of space between the back of the car seat and the back of the drivers' seat, in case my husband needed to drive the car and move the seat back. And this seat is as slim as advertised! When installed in the middle seat of the back row of a rental car, there were no complaints in the adjacent back seats about the carseat taking up too much space or impeding the ability to buckle adjacent seatbelts.
Over the week that I have had the carseat fully set up, I have tested this seat in my own car, checked this carseat on a flight, installed it in a rental car, checked the carseat on a return flight, and reinstalled it back in my car. Despite all of this abuse, the seat is in pristine condition and I am impressed with its durability and am confident in the safety of this seat.
As for the comfort of my child in the seat, my 90th-percentile-for-height child offered no complaints when I switched her into this compact seat and seems totally comfortable. She enjoys stashing items in the cupholders, and I enjoy that they are dishwasher safe! The straps on this seat do seem to end up twisted far more than other car seats I have used. I'm not sure why this might be, but I do find myself trying to fix a twisted shoulder strap about 50% of the time I am buckling my kid in the seat.
Overall I would recommend this seat as a great choice for anyone who has a smaller vehicle or who needs to move the seat around a lot. It might not be my first choice for daily use when I have no space limitations, but this seat is a great value and I would certainly recommend it.

Good Quality for the Price!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to Stellar Product Testing Panel, I was able to test Evenflo's All4Stages Slim 4-IN-1 Convertible Car Seat. This seat was ready to install directly out of the box, only requiring for the cup holders to be installed which I found easy. The cupholders held an average sized child's cup easily, though I think it would struggle with the rounder/fatter all angle straw cups. The Thermos 12oz kids cup fit great.
I have a 2022 Honda Odyssey and the width of the carseat was more narrow than the width of my actual seat, perfect for multiple carseat installation in a single row. I had it installed in my middle row captain's seat (middle seat removed) in the rear facing position for my 2 year old. There was plenty of room between my driver's seat put entirely all the way back and the back of the carseat in recline position 3.
Originally I started installation with the LATCH method, but struggled to get a good tight install. Once I switched to the seatbelt, it was much easier to get a secure and level install. Forward facing was a far more straightforward install using the seatbelt, I did not attempt to install forward facing with LATCH. I would not recommend this seat if you will be taking it in and out frequently.
This carseat has multiple reclines and I found it easy to move the recline via the lever. You can find whether it's level by looking at the lines (there are two for separate weight ranges) on the side of the carseat and stepping back to evaluate if the line itself is level. Adjusting the headrest was similarly easy, just pull the handle and it moved up and down freely, no need to rethread the shoulder straps!
The plushness of the seat was very nice, especially at the pricepoint. My 2 year old was definitely comfortable in it, though the headrest is a bit narrower than our other carseats so a child with a larger head or an older child might have some more difficulties. I actually liked that there wasn't so much room, it felt more secure to me in case of an accident. The chest clip did feel a bit flimsy to me, more lightweight than sturdy, but had no issues in getting it latched or unlatched one handed.
I did have some difficulty in getting a child in and out rear facing. The sides are higher and could be more difficult (depending on the wiggling of the child) to get them in. In a more reclined position, it would likely be easier, but the age of my child had a more upright angle.
The padding was not difficult to remove or replace. In the owners manual there are diagrams for both removing and replacing the padding that I found easy to follow. That is great for when you need to wash it because of the many different accidents that can happen.
Overall, I would be happy with this seat as my primary carseat as long as it was in a vehicle where it would stay installed. The padding was comfortable for my child and easy to remove and replace. Install wasn't easy but wasn't exceptionally difficult using the seatbelt. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to try this carseat!

Great Car Seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was graciously gifted this carseat by Stellar Panel but it couldn’t have come at a better time, as my wife and I had been getting completely fed up with switching our car seat from car to car and needed a second one. The All4Stages was the perfect car seat to receive as it’s very high quality, comfortable, and will last for a long time as our daughter grows. She’s three now and fit perfectly in the seat but the seat itself doesn’t feel like it’s huge in our car, which is great. The All4Stages car seat was nearly perfect for us, the only complain I had was the difficulty of snapping the car seat into place, and the resistance I felt while tightening the seatbelt buckles. It took a lot more effort than I expected to clip the buckles into the seat, and once they were clicked in, they didn’t quite feel tight enough no matter how hard I pulled on the strap. It still felt plenty safe, so I wasn’t worried, just a bit surprised. Overall I am very happy with this car seat and would recommend it to others!

Great Slim Fit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My favorite feature is the the slim design that fits perfectly in my backseat, even in my two door sedan. It’s ideal for families needing more space or compact cars.
With four modes (rear-facing, forward-facing, high-back booster, and backless booster) it will grow with my child which will ultimately save money.
Installation was quick and easy with the LATCH system, and adjusting the harness to fit my child was hassle-free. I really appreciate how user-friendly it is.
The extra padding and side-impact protection are great for comfort and safety, especially on long trips. The breathable fabric keeps my little one cool, too.
Overall, I’m very impressed with the All4Stages Slim 4-IN-1 Car Seat. It’s safe, comfortable, and versatile - definitely a great choice for growing families!

Awesome car seat at a great price point
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this seat for free in exchange for my honest review from Stellar product reviews.
I think this seat is a great value with a comfy fit for little ones. I have an 18mo who is in size 24m clothes - so he's slightly on the chunky side. We took a very long 1 week road trip with this seat and overall for the price point it seems like a great value. While I used it only rear facing, I was really happy with the size (narrow and compact for use with multiple children or in a smaller vehicle), it was stylish and my baby seemed really comfortable on the long trip. I am a very by the book seat user, and I loved how the padding around the head cradled him in the seat. The seat was easy to install and easy to adjust which I think is really helpful for first time parents.
3 points of consideration for a potential buyer (in order of severity):
1) the shoulder straps are very very close to the head padding which adjust up and down. For the RF mode, it was a little tricky to fit the shoulder straps just at or under my baby's shoulders... and that made fitting the seat to him safely a little tricky. I worry this may be an easy miss for inexperienced parents... and for that I took off 1 star. I did find it easy to adjust to seat while the baby was in it... which made finding the right spot a little easier.
2) the directions mention a level for easy install, but I could not find it anywhere... and while I feel OK about the recline of the seat, I've installed and reinstalled many seats, and the vehicle was easy to install in ... so again, I worry this would be an easy miss for a new parent or grandparent.
3) the head padding is very generous and my 18mo (who does have a big head...) was just stuck between them with very little leeway on either side. I hope a 4 in 1 seat would have a lot of longevity so I am not sure how he will fit in 6m or 1 year, but I think this narrow fit (on the inside of the seat) could be a huge plus if your baby is smaller or tends to be less chunky.
4) the 2 cup holders are narrow and great for standard size cups but my baby's wide straw cup didn't fit securely. This doesn't matter to me, but if it matters to you, now you know :).
Overall for the money and longevity of this seat, I think this is a good option and I love the narrow external measurements (so hard to find with a multi-stage seat!), and I'd recommend it - just take your time and be patient when fitting your baby to the seat.

Room for two and toddler in the backseat again!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our family is thrilled to finally have a car seat that leaves room for two other passengers to sit comfortably in our backseat. Other car seats take up more than one space in our backseat, only leaving room for one other person. This was usually fine but became frustrating when we tried to bring friends along on our adventures. The All4stages car seat takes up less than one spot in the backseat, so we can now take two friends on adventures again. My big girl loves her new car seat. The padding seems comfortable and the design looks sleek and modern. One thing I really like is that my daughter can actually get her cup out of the car seat cup holder while we’re driving! We’ve had problems with cups getting stuck when using other car seats. I took off a star because it was a bit challenging to install, but otherwise we’re happy with this seat and looking forward to bringing it on an upcoming vacation. Comfy riders and peace of mind
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this seat from the stellar testing panel. We tested this seat in two modes so far: forward facing our 4 1/2 year old in the third row of a Yukon xl, and rear facing a 2 year old in the middle row. The seat sits slightly higher than other comparable models, which is a plus for our third row passenger. He tends to get car sick, but being able to see out the front window in this higher seat was definitely a positive feature! The seat installed easily and I love the belt path where you secure the straps of the seatbelt when installed with the seatbelt vs latch. This thing wasn’t budging while testing for movement along the belt path! The straps are easy to adjust for height and tightness. The chest clip does feel cheaper/thinner than what we are used to, but as far as keeping the harness in place, it does the job. The cupholders are also a flimsier plastic but I’m glad to report that they are big enough to accommodate a regular sized drink cup and of course, a yummy snack on the other side. As far as comfort, the four year old says it is very comfy. I do notice that the padding around the head is a bit narrow, so maybe not ideal for larger-headed children. In the third row of the Yukon, it fit nicely next to an older child in a booster seat with plenty of room for a larger child in the middle of the two seats to fit safely and comfortably.
Adjusting the seat from forward-facing to rear-facing was simple and easy, installation still a breeze, and I feel the same about the security of the belt path, A+ on that! As a rear-facing seat, this slim fit convertible was great, it was even slimmer than an alternative we were using previously. Installed next to another rear-facing seat and a booster seat on the other side of that one, it fit very well in the middle row of the Yukon xl without touching the neighboring car seat. It was a nice comfortable ride for the two year old! Installation, removal, and adjustments were very simple and resulted in no frustrations of not being able to get the right angle or tightness of the seat in the car or the child in the harness. It feels secure, is easy to get a proper fit, and has nice padding for each stage.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this seat for this price point!

Multifuncional Car Seat Must!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of a 2 year old and a 1 year old, I was excited to try out the rear facing feature for my youngest and letting my 2 year old give it a go in the forward facing position. I will say I was not a fan of the rear facing position for my youngest. She looked a bit uncomfortable and it was a weird angle to get her in and out of the car seat. Fortunately for us, my 2 year old gets to use it in the forward facing position. She looks very comfortable in it and the car seat looks very well padded so it gives me peace of mind having her strapped in it.
On top of it looking comfortable for my child, I love the slimness of the car seat. I drive a minivan so we have an abundance of space but it being slim, makes it easier to have someone ride in the middle row with them.
When it came to installing the car seat, the latch install was a breeze. I love the new latch design on this car seat. It will come in handy when swapping this car seat between cars. I also liked how easy it was so adjust the headrest for my kids.
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel, my kids will be able to use this car seat as they grow older. I'm excited to use the booster feature in the future.

Easy to clean, easy to install, works well!

The first aspect I noticed about the All4Stages Slim 4-In-1 Convertible Car Seat was how easy it was to install. The other car seat I have I can barely fit my hand through to pass the seat belt through, and I have fairly small hands. We didn't need to spend a lot of time setting up the car seat for our daughter. It probably took me longer to undo the old one then to install this one.
Our daughter, 18 month old, is pretty chill so she seemed to enjoy the right and it fit her well. Although, looking at her riding around in it, she didn't seem quite as comfortable with the other. I think this has to do with the large head rest that is attached. It seems to maybe block her view a little.
One thing I don't love is the front clip it has a push button which I can not undo with a single hand and for a strong enough young kid could be more easily undone than the pinch clip.
The car seat does its main function and I had zero worries about her being safe in it. The back strap that hooks into the back seat and the seatbelt space had it cinched down.

Slim seat for small space!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I installed this in the back of our BMW 328i xdrive, and I will say installation was a breeze. I usually make my husband install our car seats but I had no issues doing this solo! I was able to latch it without any trouble and it fit so much better than my toddler’s bulky car seat. It works great behind the driver’s side and allows my husband more leg room up front, something he had given up with our toddler’s car seat. My son is long and seemed comfortable when in the car seat. I do love how it’s a car seat that can grow with him, he is still rear facing and I feel like he will be comfortable as he grows until he is ready to forward face. The only part that stuck out to me was the headrest felt a little too large for the seat, but that didn’t seem to bother him. I think this car seat is an affordable option for those with smaller vehicles, without compromising safety for their little one! Thanks for letting me try this product!

Definitely Slim Fit - Great for Most Kids
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I was very excited to try it out. We have four children (ages 5, 3, 1, and newborn) so we are no strangers to car seats, and I was eager to see how this would compare to our others.
The All4Stages Slim 4-IN-1 Convertible Car Seat can work from the newborn stage all the way until the child is out of car seats and boosters entirely. That is a great feature for cost savings and for the sake of not having to store extra "stuff" since kids grow so quickly. That being said, we have always opted for an actual infant seat for our newborns because we value the ease of being able to pop the baby's seat in and out easily, especially since we live in a place with cold winters. However, that may not be an important or necessary feature for others.
My favorite feature about this car seat is that it truly is "slim fit." I have seen other seats that claim to be slim fit but would be very crowded in most vehicles and/or would not be able to fit three car seats across which I think is sort of the litmus test for a true slim fit car seat. Since we already have 4 children in car seats (and hope to continue to grow our family), having a true slim fit seat is essential. We won't be able to fit them all in our van otherwise!
The downside of the seat being truly slim is that it might be a tight or potentially uncomfortable fit for children with a broader build or an older / bigger child. That would be something that each parent would have to evaluate individually. For smaller or younger children, I actually think it's an asset since I personally feel more at ease when my kids don't have a lot of extra room in their car seats. I have rented car seats before when traveling that have seemed unsafe since my kids have had so much extra room on either side of them.
A couple other features that I like about this car seat are:
-The cup holders because they are not easily removable. In some of our other car seats, the cup holders are often rolling around on the van floor because my kids can unscrew them way too easily. It's nice to have them be removable (which these ones are) for cleaning purposes, but I don't want them so easy to remove that my kids can take them out themselves.
-The amount of cushion / padding. I had each of my kids try the seat out, and they all seemed comfortable and supported in the right areas.
-The ease of installation. The instructions are very straightforward, and the seat feels secure when installed.
All in all, I think this is a great seat and at a much lower price point than some other 4 in 1 seats on the market. The slim fit of this seat is a desirable feature, as well, assuming that it fits your particular child.
I would recommend this seat to friends or family members looking for an economical option that allows for other car seats to fit side by side or to allow for a more comfortable seating arrangement for passengers who may be riding near the car seat.

One seat for your child to grow with!

The first thing I noticed was that it felt light even in the box. When I was opening it, I found it shocking that the car seat didn’t have a bag or any cushioning in the box- just the car seat. I would want my car seat to have come with some sort of protection from being stacked and tossed around on trucks. I love that this truly is a car seat that will grow with your child. The four different positioning allows this to be a one time investment per child. It is easy to install when put in the backseat without an additional car seat or one more. Unfortunately for us we have three children and need three car seats at once. I was excited at how slim the car seat is. However, it did not fit between our other car seats. We are giving it to the grandparents but it doesn’t work for us. I believe if we had three slim seats it would fit. The car seat is sturdy and convenient. It comfortably fit our two month old in the infant position, forward facing for my 3 year old, as well as high back booster for my 5 year old. The cup holders are a nice touch but made it too narrow for my 5 year old. They are flimsy. Overall it is a great value for your buck but has its flaws.

Beautiful, safe, and space saver!

Upon receiving this car seat and opening the box you can tell that this car seat is comfortable and made of great quality. The first thing I noticed was the head and neck support it provides beyond infancy which is important to me, especially with a toddler who falls asleep in the car frequently. I also noticed that this car seat is aesthetically pleasing with a great design. I also love that the seat is useful for all stages and I won't need to purchase another car seat as my child grows.
Installation was easy and the booklet it came with was easy to read to ensure safety. I did not like that it lacked the bubble level. Having the bubble level gives me an increased sense of security that the car seat is installed properly. It provides a level line which is fine but I found it hard to exactly match. Nonetheless, it was easy to ensure that the car seat was installed safely and securely.
Once my child was in the car seat, the ease of loosening and tightening the straps was the best I ever encountered. On cold days when I wanted to get it quickly done it was a breeze!
My child seemed extremely comfortable in the car seat. He would happily go in and let me strap him in, indicating to me that he was comfortable. It comes with two cup holders, providing a place for both a drink and a snack. Sometimes my toddler would just use it as toy holders which is great too!
As far as the material goes, the inner material is soft and seems very comfy. It comes out easily and can be thrown in the wash. The outer material on the other hard is rough and I found it hard to spot clean. Overall, the material was fine.
If space is something that you need for your family, this is the car seat to get. The car seat design is slim and took up very little space in my car. I would easily be able to fit two additional car seats or two adults comfortably in my backseat. This is great if you have a large family or even just for outings. It is important to note that even with its slim design, my toddler was comfortable and the car seat definitely has room to grow. Overall I recommend this car seat for all stages of your family's life!

Great seat for small cars with one caveat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Summary: Great car seat for infants, small toddlers, and small cars. The 16.9” frame would allow for 3 across installs or more room for other passengers. The head rest is a bit bulky and I don’t think it would be too comfortable for kids with bigger heads.
Full review: The shipping and packaging of the car seat was great. Minimal waste and the car seat was fully ready to go straight out of the box.
I loved the look of the car seat’s slim design and modern black fabric cover. It came with tons of optional padding which would be great for smaller infants. I’m using this for my two year old so I removed all the padding. One slight concern was discoloration of one of the outer components (pictured). The cup holders are square which I’m sure was intended to save space but it makes the holder slightly too small for my daughters water bottle.
The instructions were clear and direct so I knew exactly how to install the car seat. Rear facing install was pretty standard using the lower anchors. It was easy to get a tight installation. I was shocked at how small it looked in my back seat. We drive a Toyota Tacoma and already had a slim car seat and this one looked much slimmer. It was also smaller front to back so we got a few more inches of legroom for the seat in front! My toddler is 2.5 years old and in the 50th percentile for height and weight so she is exactly average sized. She fits great in the car seat rear facing; my only concern is the head rest is really bulky and doesn’t leave a ton of space for her to mover her head around. This may become problematic in the future when she gets bigger. The upside to this is higher side impact protection and she’ll definitely have head support if she falls asleep but it is a con as far as awake time comfort.
Overall I was so thrilled I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Having multiple kids means space saving products are a MUST. I’m excited that this will last for years to come and it’s a low maintenance easy to clean product.

Slim Design, but Some Trade-Offs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with the opportunity to try the All4Stages Slim 4-IN-1 Convertible Car Seat.
The slim design of this car seat is definitely its standout feature. It fit very well in my 2012 Subaru Forester, allowing the passenger seat to slide all the way back and even recline slightly—something that my current car seat doesn’t allow. This feature is a game-changer for us, as it means my husband no longer has to sit in the backseat.
My son, who is 14 months old, used the rear-facing mode at positions 3 and 4. Compared to our current car seat, this one is more upright, which might be a plus for some families but felt like an adjustment for us.
Installing and adjusting the seat, however, was more challenging than I anticipated. One of the straps got twisted right out of the box, and I struggled to fix it. The padding also felt awkward to manage when trying to get everything aligned properly. On the positive side, I appreciated the ease of adjusting the shoulder straps—you simply slide the back up or down, which eliminates the need to detach and reattach the straps.
While the slim design creates more space in the front, it also makes getting my son in and out of the car seat quite difficult in the rear-facing position. It’s a tight squeeze, and transferring a sleeping child would likely be very challenging. Additionally, the bulky padding at the top seems to limit my son’s view out the window. I also found the button for loosening the straps to be frustratingly hard to reach.
That said, the seat does seem well-made and of good quality. My son appeared fairly comfortable during our drives, even though the seat’s upright position and minimal space doesn’t initially look very cozy. I can see this car seat being much more enjoyable to use once we switch to the forward-facing mode, as it would eliminate some of the tight rear-facing constraints we experienced.
In summary, the All4Stages Slim 4-IN-1 Convertible Car Seat excels in its compact design, which offers more space in the front seat—a major win for small cars. However, the trade-offs in ease of use and rear-facing comfort might be worth considering, depending on your family’s needs.
