LOVE THIS SEAT!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Oh my goodness this seat is incredible! This car seat was sent to me by Stellar Product Testing Panel to test with my son. My son since he has been five months old has had the hardest time in the car. He is a little boy who trives off of visual stimulation and distraction. I norrmally hang a toy from the handle of his current car seat but I am always worried about the safety concern of having a toy in his car seat with him unsupervised. This car seat has the distraction built right into the handle with lights and sounds to soothe your baby while in the car. It is easly controlled from the car seat itself but can be adjusted to whatever time length and song choice your desire straight from your phone! I also love that I can use the hands free option in my car to turn it on and don't have to unsafely whip my phone out in the car when the tears start. My son seems comfortable and snug every time he rides it in. It was super easy to install and is a reasonably light car seat to carry around even for someone with chronic back pain! I personally so far while using it have not had any alerts from the safety clip but I know it will come in handy in the future on long car drives and as my son gets older to be alerted in the car was an unsafe temperature, if he got the chest clip undone, it was time for a break from the car seat, or if I ever left him accidentally in the car. The design is sleek and crisp, I found it to be very stylish additional to all of it's other wonderful aspects! I would highly reccommend this car seat to anyone looking for a reasonbly priced, safe, and fun car seat for their kiddo!

Great Infant Car Seat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just had my second child so I was really excited to try the Evenflo LiteMax NXT Infant Car Seat with SensorySoothe through Stellar Product Testing Panel. My first impression was great. I love and was impressed with the way the car seat looks and was curious about all the features. I wasn't sure how much I would use all of them but the music feature has been fun to try and my baby does seem soothed by it. Once my child is a little older I think they will enjoy the lights feature too. All the features have been easy to use and we have really been enjoying the car seat so far. If you are into the tech features and a great overall car seat for comfort and safety I highly recommend!

Game Changer
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. After testing it out, I've decided that I actually really like it. The fabric isn't all that thick overall, but there's extra padding under baby's bum, and there's cushioning on the sides too. She seems very comfortable. The embroidered details make it look a bit more luxe and it's so nice that the fabric is Greenguard Gold Certified. It's made from recycled materials, but more importantly there's no flame retardant chemicals! I would recommend against the black though, because it gets warmer than other colors on hot days, so I'm a bit worried about summer coming up. The base for the seat was super easy to install and at first I thought the "bubble level" on this was a cheap alternative, but I've since come to realize that it actually makes it much easier for people to know for sure whether their incline is correct. We struggled a bit finding out how to get the batteries in the handle, only to learn there's a little paper guide attached to it with instructions for that... I would have preferred it were in the Quick Start Guide, but at least it's somewhere relevant. The arm itself works wonderfully and my baby loves it! We have a 4.5 hour trip coming up soon and I'm less stressed about it now with this car seat to help. I didn't expect it to have so many options or to have a voice activation setting. It's been very useful and the only downside I can think of is that the quality of the physical build could use a tiny bit more refinement. The perimeter of the light strip is not entirely flush with the main plastic of the handle, so it can sometimes be uncomfortable to carry the handle with your hand or a bare arm. Other than that, I'd one day love to see if they can incorporate a breathing monitor into the chest clip too. Something that counts breathes and notifies if it has been too long between breaths. That would help tremendously for moms like me who have babies with a condition that makes car seat use more stressful. With all that being said, I think this is a wonderful car seat and that it has so many useful ways to help you keep your baby safe and soothed.

Love this carseat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My initial opinion on the Evenflo LiteMax NXT Infant Car Seat with SensorySoothe is that it’s easy to use, designed well, and stands out among other car seats due to the technology. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat. I loved that I was able to use the Evenflo app from the passenger seat to adjustment something for my daughter without waking her. The app itself was easy to use, and the real-time alerts are a bonus feature that I have not heard of with other car seats. Installing the seat was straightforward, and adjusting it was easy, as well. I look forward to using this carseat for time to come with the height and weight limits being slightly above my original infant car seat. In my eyes, that makes the cost even more worth it. Overall, this car seat puts smart technology features alongside important safety design. I'm very happy with this product!

Long Car Rides - Calm Baby!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First of all, I want to give a shout out to Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this amazing car seat to review! I was blown away by the features of this seat.
My little one tends to get a bit antsy in the car and the build-in tech features were a dream to help keep him calm and happy. Gone are the days of traveling with a portable sound machine! Having a built-in sound machine that is controllable via their app is incredibly convenient. I was able to customize the sound, volume, and lights and I found the app intuitive and easy to navigate. The additional SensorSafe features that notify me if my son is too hot, becomes unbuckled, or has been left unattended give me a lot of peace of mind as well!
Installing the base and seat was a breeze, and the directions were easy to follow. My son is 19 lbs now and I had no issues adjusting the seat to the proper fit with the provided instructions.
I appreciated the range of motion of the car seat handle - allowing me to position it so that the lights are in view for my son. You need two available hands, however, to unlock and adjust the handle's position. This is not a negative, just something I will have to get used to when compared to my old car seat.
The only item I was not impressed with was the shade. While it provided nice coverage, it did not have very smooth movement, and the feel of the material did not meet my expectations. In my opinion it did not convey the premium quality I was expecting when paired alongside the innovative tech features.
If that is my only complaint though, I'd say this car seat is a winner! Overall, it has amazing, innovative features, and it's easy to use - I'd highly recommend this product to anyone!

Great mix of tech, comfort, and safety!

This seat was super easy to set up and connect to the app, ready to go in minutes. It feels lightweight but sturdy, with a deep, cozy seat and smooth-adjusting straps. The newborn insert provides a snug fit, and I like the sleek, modern look.
The tech features are impressive and make this seat stand out from any other on the market. My baby loves the colorful lights, and the sound options, both playful and soothing, help depending on his mood. The app took a little getting used to, but once I figured it out, customizing programs for my baby was easy.
Safety-wise, I appreciate the alerts, especially the fact that it will alert you when it's time for a car seat break, which would be great for a long car trip. They offer real peace of mind, though the “Child in car” alerts can be a bit sensitive if you buckle the chest clip too early and move away from the seat with your phone.
The only downside for me is that it doesn’t rock well on the floor, which isn't ideal for soothing outside the car.
Overall, it’s a great blend of safety, smart features, and comfort. Highly recommend!

Interactive & Fun Carseat That Doesn't Compromise Safety
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for gifting me the Evenflo LiteMax NXT Infant Car Seat with SensorySoothe! We are LOVING it and are extremely impressed with everything about it. As a third time mom, this is my third infant car seat and it is quickly becoming my favorite for many reasons. The look and design is so sleek and LIGHTWEIGHT which is always a game changer when on the go with multiple kids. It's an added bonus that it blends in so well with the interior of our family car... we love the look of it! I also can't believe how easy the install process was. The base is great and provides the kind of security and stability you want for your kids. There is a 7-position adjustable headrest that moves with ONE hand... talk about convenient. One of my favorite parts about the positioning? - There is no need to rethread the harness!
What really makes this car seat stand out, in my opinion, are the tech features. The sensory handle is awesome for my increasingly active 6 month old. The lights, sounds, and music captivate my baby's attention any time she starts to get fussyl. While it doesn't always work, it buys me some time if she's hungry or if not, the soothing sounds will help her fall asleep more quickly than usual. I used to travel with a portrable sound machine and now that's one less thing I have to worry about grabbing! The app is very cool and fairly user friendly. Downloading the app, inputting my info, and personalizing the settings took all of 5 min to do. You have the option to add family members and send alerts to their phones as well. The app will alert me if the car temp is dangerous, if the chest clip comes undone, or if the baby has been buckled for an extended period of time. It will also alert you if you leave them in the car or walk away outside of the radius. I do think the notifications can be a bit much at times but I enjoy the extra peace of mind that the SensorSafe technology provides. Overall, I think this car seat is awesome and we have all really enjoyed it. Would recommend to anyone who's in the market for an infant seat!

Amazing Evenflo Infant Car Seat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so impressed with the Evenflo LiteMax NXT Infant Car Seat with SensorySoothe. In the past, my child did not get along with being strapped into a car seat, making car rides extremely dreadful for us both. Since receiving this car seat as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, I have noticed what a difference it has made for my son, and it is all thanks to the features that standout on this product that aren’t like any other car seat I have ever seen. Setup was extremely easy both with the SensorySoothe clip connectivity to my phone as well as installing the base which has a color indicator level to let you know when it has been properly installed. Not only is the car seat light weight, but the fabric is ecofriendly and easy to wipe clean. The best part about the car seat other than the fact my son loves the LED colored handlebar which also plays music and sounds, is the SensorySoothe clip which alerts my phone with notifications. If my child is buckled or unbuckled, if it’s too hot in the vehicle, or if he has been left in his car seat too long letting us know we need to stop for a break. I have already been stopped by multiple people when I am out in public with my son, asking about the car seat or making comments about how cool the car seat is just by the way it looks. The Evenflo app. has many options to change the sounds and lights, it is not limited to the ones already programmed on the car seat itself. The only component I have found to be a bit of a struggle for me is the cover that goes around the clip between my son’s legs. The cover wants to slip off the buckle too easily to the point I just left it off indefinitely because it’s not worth the time and effort to have to try and put it back in place every time. By no means does that turn me away from this product as I have found the car seat to be exceptionally made with so many details in mind for both parent and child. It really has brought peace of mind when I can change settings to the seat from my phone with ease and feel relieved about our traveling experiences in the future. I am so excited to continue getting much use from this seat with my son and seeing his sweet face light up when the features are activated. I highly recommend the Evenflo LiteMax NXT Infant Car Seat with SensorySoothe for anyone who has a child still rear facing. From one parent to another, you will not be disappointed!

A Smart, Soothing, and Safe Car Seat That Actually Delivers!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car seat has been such a pleasant surprise!!! The SensorySoothe feature is honestly brilliant.. I can play calming music and soft lights right from the handle using the app on my phone. I didn’t think it would make a big difference, but it really helps settle my baby down, especially during longer drives or when we’re stuck in traffic.
The seat itself feels really soft and cozy and my baby seems super comfortable in it. I also like knowing the fabric is made from recycled materials without any added chemicals. It’s small details like that that make me feel like Evenflo actually thought about parents when designing this!
Another thing I’ve come to really appreciate is the SensorSafe alerts. It notifies me if the car gets too hot or if the buckle comes undone. I didn’t realize how much peace of mind that would give me until I had it.. It just makes me feel a little more in control when I can’t see everything from the driver’s seat.
Install was quick and painless - which is saying a lot because car seats usually stress me out. It clicks in snug and feels really secure. Overall, this seat checks all the boxes.. safe, comfortable, easy to use, and actually helps keep my baby calm. I’d definitely recommend it to other parents, especially if you’re looking for something a little more modern and intuitive.

Your little one hates car rides? Not anymore!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a stickler for car seat safety and comfort. When Stellar Panel Testing Panel sent me this new car seat with base to try.... oh boy, was I hesitant!
Off the bat, I loved how light the car seat was. My kiddo is in the higher percentile and this car seat made him feel as light as a feather especially carrying him up 3 flights of stairs. But it definitely doesn't feel like you are sacrificing safety for less weight. The built in safety sensor definitely brought comfort knowing it would sound an alarm to make sure no kiddo is left behind in the car (not that I would ever do that). And as a mom of two with a VERY curious toddler, I truly appreciate that although it uses a button battery, its secured in place by screw. That alone tells me every level of safety was considered apart of the design process.
Speaking of...I love the leveler because it removed the guess work out of trying to install it. Instead of trying to find the leveler on the side & getting frustrated, its right in the rear section of the seat where its easily seen. I swear I wish every car seat made had this feature.
Now to the nitty gritty. I wish I was lying about introducing this level of technology and closeness to my kiddo, but after a few uses, I am not exactly sure how I managed before. Right before testing the seat out, my 6 month all of sudden decided he hated his car seat and car rides would no longer be pleasant for anyone in his vicinity. To my absolute shock, he loved the light bar. It wasn't too bright and I love the color changing features controlled by the app. Even better is that it has an automatic shut off. At no point did I feel it become over stimulating for him and my toddler even enjoyed the music that can be played with it. (I lost track of the amount of times she would turn it on randomly in the house. The app was very easy to use and I appreciated that I was able to control the settings rather than being stuck with the automatic features.
Oh! and the material.... is extremely easy to clean. My son can blow out a diaper and I dread having to remove the cover, but they knew what they were doing with this!
Lastly, I have 2 under 2 with my first being a micro preemie. In order to leave the hospital, she had to weight at least 4 pounds and finding the right carseat to keep my precious cargo safe was an absolute priority. Although, I did not use this car seat for with her, I am grateful for that this car seat was rated for at least 3 pounds and included a newborn infant that I am confident that would have fit her perfectly. This would have definitely been a car seat I would have purchased while she was still an infant.
All in all, I am so happy that I was able to test out this seat and will continue to use it until my kiddo maxes out the way. Its already on my baby shower recommendation list and would absolutely recommend to the highest level of satisfaction. Great job, Evenflo!

Sanity saving carseat!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Upon unboxing this carseat, I was impressed with the quality and comfort it has. The seat is well made and I noticed evenflo uses eco friendly materials which is a plus! The infant insert is well padded and having a premie baby it is reassuring to have an insert that really supports your little one. The tech features are an added bonus that take this carseat to the next level. The app was easy to set up and super convenient on the go. My baby enjoyed the sounds especially when we we stopped at a red light which tends to make her fussy. She seemed at ease with the added features. The lights are entertaining for her as well. She loved the red lights the most and it seemed to promote sleep for her as well. The app can also alert you if the straps are too hot which is nice going into summer months. Also reminds you to not leave baby in seat when not in the car which I apperciate. Installation of the seat itself was simple and the instructions being on the seat as well is helpful. Carseat latches in and out the the base easily and is very secure when locked in. If I had to move this to my husband's car it would be simple to do as well. Immediately the look and feel stood out. It's modern. It's minimal. It looks great in our car! I love that it’s made from recycled materials and free of added chemicals, which gives me extra peace of mind. I feel like I can't say enough good things - all these extra features come with NO extra weight, meaning that when I need to carry around my baby in the car seat I'm not struggling with a heavy load.
One of the biggest highlights is the SensorySoothe handle, which has become my secret weapon during fussy car rides. I think we can all agree there is NOTHING worse than a screaming baby in the car. It uses calming lights, sounds, and music to help soothe my baby—and it really works! Everything is easily controlled through the Evenflo app, which is super intuitive. I was able to personalize the settings quickly and even use voice commands, which is a game-changer when I’ve got my hands full.
When it comes to safety, the built-in SensorSafe technology is unmatched. We were given the black seat, and it looks sleek, modern, and clean—exactly the kind of look we were hoping for. It doesn’t scream “baby gear,” but instead blends in beautifully with our car’s interior while still being completely functional for infant use.
The real standout is the tech integration. The built-in SensorySoothe features are more than just a gimmick—they’ve been genuinely helpful during drives. You can use the Evenflo app to create custom “scenes” that combine lights and music. We tested different combinations and eventually found the sweet spot that really helps our baby relax. Whether it's a nap drive or just calming down after a feed, the lights and gentle songs create a little calming atmosphere that works surprisingly well.
As for safety, the SensorSafe system is a great addition. The real-time alerts give us peace of mind, especially the temperature notifications and alerts if the chest clip comes undone. We did think the voice that announces those alerts in the app could sound a bit more natural, but it’s a minor detail considering how useful and timely the notifications are.
Adjusting the seat for a proper fit was simple and intuitive, and the seat seems to cradle our baby in a way that looks and feels very comfortable. Installation was mostly smooth, though the storage pockets for the latch straps on the base were a bit of a struggle. It requires pushing and pulling at the same time, which can be tricky—especially if you’ve got bigger hands like I do. Still, once installed, the seat doesn’t budge and feels completely solid.
Overall, we’re really happy with this car seat. It’s clearly made for the modern parent—safe, easy to use, customizable, and smart enough to adapt to your baby’s needs. Much happier baby during car rides!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Evenflo Litemax NXT car seat and base from Stellar Product Testing for my honest review. I was so excited to receive this car seat because I was in the market for a replacement for my son’s current car seat. In his previous car seat he seemed uncomfortable. He is a chucky baby and his previous seat didn’t seem to be made with chunky babies in mind. He threw a fit any time I put him in his seat because the straps seemed to sit uncomfortably. Overall, I really love The Evenflo litemax NXT car seat. It is chunky baby approved and we no longer experience unhappy and uncomfortable car rides! Not only does he seem to be overall much more comfortable while strapped in, the features in the seat are a safe way to keep babies entertained. The built in light display is my son’s favorite! I think the built in sounds and lights are such a cool idea and they keep babies entertained without adding unsafe toys to the seat. The sensor chest clip gives you a peace of mind by monitoring temperature, time in seat, and clip status notifications through the Evenflo app! I found the app to be really easy to navigate. I would recommend this car seat to family and friends.

I LOVE this car seat!

I just gave birth to my third child and before this was extremely loyal to another well-known brand. However, getting to use and experience this car seat has absolutely changed my brand preference. This seat helped my grumpy little backseat buddy turn into the ideal car ride companion! He absolutely loves the lights and the soothing sounds and I love the peace of mind that the SensorSafe technology gives me. Overall both of these features provide a much less stressful car ride and help me keep my focus on the road, rather than worrying about the baby or attempting to soothe him from the front seat. I also love how compact it fits. I’m able to fit it in my middle row of my SUV with both of my other toddlers’ seats with absolutely no crowding/safety issues/compromises. Overall, this product is a dream come true for parents of multiple kids, parents of babies who hate the car, and parents who tend to worry a little extra (or all three, like me!).

Innovative car seat that will provide you with peace of mind!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, let’s talk about the innovative Evenflo LiteMax NXT with sensory soothe – this car seat looks super sleek, modern, and luxurious. The fabric and design are gorgeous (finally, a car seat that doesn’t scream “baby gear” in the worst way), and our little one fits like a cozy little baby burrito.
The Sensory Soothe technology has been a total game changer. We used to have to always bring out white noise machine to attach to the car seats for naps on the go or for fussiness. Now, when she gets fussy in the car, the built in soft lights and white noise help calm her down almost immediately. And the best part? It’s all app controlled! So no need to worry about manually pushing buttons if you’re driving. You can also program it to turn on with siri voice command.
One feature we didn’t know we needed: it alerts us if the car gets too hot OR if she’s been in the seat too long – such a smart safety touch, especially during road trips or warm days.
Now for the real talk: while we’re loving the tech and safety features, it’s not without a couple downsides. It doesn’t seem compatible with any of our current strollers, which has made outings a little trickier than expected. And while the snug fit is great for safety, it’s almost too snug! getting her out can be a bit of a challenge compared to two other seats we tried.
Overall, if you’re into smart features and soothing tech (and don’t mind the tighter fit), this could be a great option for your fam. This car seat was given to us by the Stella panel review.

It fit my 12 pound infant well and the provided newborn insert looks like it’d fit tiny babies. I wondered about fitting a larger than average infant until my 20 month sat in it and fit just fine (albeit she’s too tall to actually use it).
I love the SensorSafe technology on the chest clip, and was impressed that it gave temperature and timing alerts. I quickly became aware of how much time my baby spends in her seat…fourth kid problems. And she has been enthralled by the SensorySoothe handlebar. It’s even keeping her sister occupied sitting next to her.
My only gripes are the app, I still can’t figure out how to adjust the settings on the SensorySoothe, so we just roll with the preprogrammed ones. And the other thing I’ve had some issue with is where the harness routes through the crotch buckle, it’s a larger opening so my straps keep getting twisted. I’m pretty good at untwisting them now, but I feel like this could cause some misuse of the seat when in a hurry.
The base was easy to install and the seat pops in and out easily, but also feels very secure. I tested it in a 2020 Dodge Ram, a 2022 Ford Expedition Max, and a 2016 Subaru Forester. Overall, I think this is a good car seat with some really cool features. Installing the base was a breeze and felt secure. The car seat looks great and has plenty of cushioning for a nice, cushy fit. One downfall in my opinion is that it is a very tight fit so it is difficult to get your baby out if you need to in a hurry and I could see it possibly being a little uncomfortable for the baby after awhile. The tech features are great and using the app is easy. It sends notifications to your phone for things like too hot or cold, the chest strap disconnecting, etc. but it would be nice if you could edit the notifications you get instead of receiving all notifications all the time. I think the real time alerts would come in more handy as our baby gets a little older. The light bar has very pretty colors and several options for light shows and sounds. The light bar does a great job of distracting and soothing our little one. It also has a night light feature but we have not used it yet. I really like how easy it is to latch the seat to the base and unlatch with the squeeze of a lever. The belts are easy to slide and adjust as your little one grows. One big improvement I would like to see is making the sunshade cover more area. I think it would be very beneficial to come farther forward to help keep the sun out of your baby’s eyes.

Novel idea

My overall impression of this car seat was that it was an ingenious idea and that I wish I’d had it with my other children! I think the look was pretty standard, if not a little bare bones/budget-feeling, but the upgrades in the handle and buckle totally made up for that!! The built-in tech features were totally new to me and a welcome addition that I was happy to take just a few minutes to set up. That being said, I do think there are just a couple of glitches still to be worked through to perfect it so as to not set off unnecessary alerts (though I do appreciate more vs less when it comes to safety!). The setting options are vast and fairly easy to customize in the app, though I do need to spend a little more time selecting and saving favorites for it to cycle through. I LOVE the Siri option to activate it when I’m driving. We got to test the soothing capabilities with my newborn and were absolutely blown away when they worked like a charm. Baby’s crying stopped almost immediately on multiple occasions. I love that big siblings can activate it on the side of the car seat to help me too while we’re driving or out and about. My favorite safety feature of the car seat is the ability to tell you if you forgot baby or if baby is too hot or not properly clipped in. These are all things I worry about as a busy mom and so the app provides me instant peace of mind. I did want to mention that I found the adjustment of the car seat and also the base inside the car to be a bit trickier than alternative brands that I’ve used in the past. That being said, the fact that a base is included make it a quick process to use once you get it installed. I love this product and would recommend to all new parents!!

Light weight, convenient features
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Overall, I am impressed with this car seat - it is light weight, looks nice, and has convenient features for soothing my little one on the go.
We've really enjoyed the built-in sound machine - it's definitely come in handy and it's easy to adjust the settings. I appreciate that you can also turn on / off without using a phone / app; it's nice to be able to use the buttons on the handle when you don't want to look at your phone or its not safe to do so. The light features are nice too, though I personally haven't found much use for lights, mostly because we don't do any driving past bedtime/when its dark out. I imagine this would be a nice feature if you needed light though! Again, I appreciate that you can just turn these on / off and cycle through the options just with a touch of a button on the handle.
The sensor-safe features were easy to set up in the app, and the base was super easy to install in the car. Overall setup including both was under 10 minutes (but also not our first car seat). It was easy to adjust the seat for a proper fit, though it feels a little like the angle of the backrest pushes our little one's head forward a bit which makes me a little uneasy, and I haven't figured out if or how there is a way to fix that.

Cool features and does the job

My daughter is 7 months old and really loved the built in light bar, music, and sounds which kept her happy during short and long stretches in the car seat. I really loved the built in sensor and app which provided alerts about potentially unsafe conditions such as temperature, whether she was buckled or not, and if she was left in the car by accident. The Evenflo app was also great for letting us customize the light bar’s colors, music, and sounds. The materials were non-toxic and eco-friendly but felt a little rough for an infant. The seatbelt kept getting twisted in the buckle and was very difficult to tighten. Installation was easy and the car seat is compact so fits nicely in our cars. The car seat meets federal safety standards but didn’t seem as sturdy as I would like. Overall, my daughter was comfortable and the standout feature is definitely the SensorySoothe technology.

Evenflo LiteMax NXT: SensorySoothe Tech is a Hit, But Watch the Head Slouch
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Evenflo Lite Max NXT Infant Car Seat with SensorySoothe is definitely a car seat designed for the modern parent. The SensorySoothe technology is the star of the show, and as promised, it really does work! My baby genuinely enjoys the soothing music and lights, which have been great for keeping him content on car rides. In fact, sometimes it works too well as I’ve noticed his head can lean forward at an uncomfortable angle when he falls asleep.
Despite the uncomfortable head-leaning concern, the SensorySoothe feature itself is fantastic. It is so easy to customize the lights and sounds on the App, and the fact that I can control it from my phone or even with Siri voice commands is incredibly convenient. It’s definitely a conversation starter too! I`ve had several people ask me about the “car seat that plays music and has lights,” which highlights how unique and eye-catching this feature is. Beyond the tech, the car seat is generally well designed and installation was a breeze. My 4 month old seems noticeably happier in this seat compared to his other one, and I appreciate the overall look and feel. I also like the sensory clip, as an extra layer of safety. The alerts when baby is buckled, and unbuckled are fantastic for peace of mind. I also love that you get a real time notification if the chest clip is being unbuckled while the vehicle is in motion, and if baby is in the car seat when the vehicle is turned off.
However, there is one feature from our other car seat that I really miss: the magnetic strap holders! Those little magnets that hold the straps out of the way while you’re putting baby in are such a game-changer for convenience. It’s a shame the Evenflo LiteMax NXT doesn’t include the simple yet incredibly helpful detail.

Tech forward and lightweight
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel we were given the opportunity to test out this new technology forward Evenflo LiteMax NXT Infant Car Seat with SensorySoothe for our little guy. I was really excited and very much looking forward to this opportunity because our little guy does not do the best during car rides or sitting in his car seat. So having the opportunity to have a car seat that had technology in it that would help soothe him in any car ride was features that I was very excited about. I would consider this car seat a technology forward car seat because it does come with an app that you download and connect with the car seat. It is not the easiest or most straightforward to get connected or hooked up, but with some time and little frustration I was able to get it working. Upon receiving the car seat, when my husband grabbed it off the front porch he did notice how lightweight it did appear to be. When we open the box, I did agree that the car seat was very lightweight, but it did not seem as dirty as other ones that we have used, which does make me a little nervous in the safety of my baby. The overall look and appeal of the car seat is very clean and classic and appealing. It is a sharp looking car seat that appears simplistic, but is very high-tech. I like the fabric and how it is a higher end fabric and eco-friendly. I did need the help with my husband to install it into my car because it was a little different than other car seats that we have used with our three other children. He did seem to get a little frustrated when trying to get it installed because the leveling feature to make sure that’s installed correctly is different than other ones we’ve used. My little guy who is five months old now did seem very comfortable while sitting in the car seat so I was excited to get the other technology features working to see if he would be comfortable in the car rides. I did think that the built-in White Noise feature and light feature were huge advantages to my child’s comfort and soothing ability. He did appear to be comfortable and not as worked up or upset at times in the car seat due to the white noise. The light feature I used also as a way to keep him preoccupied. It was also super neat that you could use the app to change any of the sounds. Overall, I do feel as though this car seat has technology that gives it an upper hand than other car seats that don’t have the technology feature, but in terms of safety I do think that it could perhaps have a better build to it that would also include the technology and would be even a greater car seat. I do think this car seat comes with its pros and cons and it just depends what you are looking for in a car seat.

Great lightweight infant car seat
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice looking infant car seat that is comfortable for my little one. He enjoyed the music, sounds and light show, but it did not work for very long if he was very fussy as a calming technique.
I liked the ability to check the temperature of the car through the app while baby was napping in the car, but I do worry how accurate the sensor the longer it is used. I still wanted to check on baby every few minutes!
Although it is easy to adjust, it is a pain to install. The clasps start out attached under the base, and it took me a lot of muscle and about 15 minutes to unclasp them. After that everything was fairly simple.
The fabric says “green” but feels like polyester. It does appear to be more breathable than other car seats. Overall it’s a great infant car seat!

Affordable and luxurious
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a first time mom, I’m constantly searching for baby gear that combines safety, comfort, and ease of use… and Evenflo LiteMax NXT with Sensory soothe absolutely delivered. I received this car seat through the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and I can confidently say: I love it.
My overall impression? The look and design are beautiful – sleek, modern, and thoughtfully put together. The fabric is soft yet durable, and the whole seat feels premium and well crafted. I love how lightweight it is, which makes it much easier to carry in and out of the car while holding all of the things that come with baby.
The built in SensorySoothe features are what truly make this car seat stand out. The gentle sounds and calming light shows keep my baby content during car rides… something I wouldn’t normally expect from a car seat! The lights are engaging without being overstimulating, and the audio is just the right volume.
The Evenflo app made it so easy to customize settings. I can change the light or sound patterns right from my phone, which is incredibly convenient. I especially like the feature that allows me to turn it on or off using Siri, which is perfect for when I’m driving or when my hands are full.
When it comes to safety, the real-time alerts are a huge reassurance. Knowing I will get a notification if the seat isn’t properly secured or if the backseat temperature gets too hot or cold helped me feel more confident and in control. As a new parent, that peace of mind is invaluable.
Adjusting the seat to fit my little one was quick and straightforward. The harness is smooth and easy to tighten, and the seat cradles my baby securely without looking or feeling bulky. I was also impressed by how fast and hassle-free the installation was—the instructions were clear, and I had the base securely installed in minutes. Everything clicked into place exactly as it should.
The only thing I wish were different is stroller compatibility. The stroller I use currently has no adapter to fit this car seat. As much as I love the car seat itself, I can’t afford to purchase a whole new stroller just to make it compatible. I really hope to see an adapter available in the future—because otherwise, this seat has everything I could ask for.

Car seat with technology

It has been a great addition to our family. Overall, the car seat in Jasper Black has a clean, classic look. The eco-friendly material is plush, but durable and the rich black color hides any stains. The car seat is light in weight, which has its advantages. However, we prefer a car seat that has a little more weight and substance. This car seat does not feel as sturdy as we would like. Also, we found that the angle and/or positioning the car seat puts our son in, is somewhat awkward. The car seat sits him more upright. We do not think this would be comfortable during longer car rides. The built-in tech features were the best aspect of the car seat. You can customize lights and sounds via the Evenflo app. We have found that we use the sounds, more than the lights. Also, the SensorSafe technology gave us peace of mind. It alerts you of potentially unsafe conditions…child unattended snd/or buckled too long and chest clip unbuckling and temperature. Overall, the car seat is nice. However, some features could be improved.
