Love my new range!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been so happy with the performance of this gas range. The ability to boil water so quickly is very convenient and the oven preheats super fast. The continuous grates over the top makes moving pots and pans easy and the 5th burner will definitely come in handy. The only thing I'd warn about is that the top of the oven door gets extra hot when in use but easily avoided. It is a good value and I would recommend it to friends.

A great decision getting a new gas range.

I was reluctant to make the purchase because the old range was still working, but not perfectly. I’m very pleased with the improvements! The quick boil burner and the 5th burner are both great additions! On the range, pans heat more evenly and quickly. The oven temperature is perfect and even throughout making my baked goods perfectly done.

What a difference!

I picked something simple, partly for cost, which was reasonable, but partly because my preference is for simple, reliable, basics. And this model of gas range fits the bill. I have already enjoyed whipping out family and single dinners of soups, and stews, and baked goods. The unit cleans up nicely. And I trust the Frigidaire name. For my needs, this was an excellent choice.

Simply Delivers

The first one was in a different residence and a different brand than Frigidaire. This Frigidaire stove although simple is superior in performance. Don't let simplicity fool you as it communicates just as well as a stove with all the bells and whistles and performs beautifully. The stove top cooks faster as does the oven then my previous stove which makes preparing meals so much better. As with any stove top it's worth taking care of your investment which means cleaning the top regularly which why wouldn't you as this is a good looking appliance. This is a great workhorse and I can certainly recommend this stove.

How to put oven on broil
In the owners manual it states on page 19 how to set the oven controls on the panel
Your oven controls
Using your oven starts with just pressing the keys on your oven control. Temperature and cooking
modes will appear in the display as you go
1. Bake - Use to select for all baking.
2. Broil - Use to select the broil feature. When
broil is active the indicator light above the broil
key will glow.
3. Oven Light turns the interior light on and off
at a touch. The light turns on automatically
when oven door is open.
4. Timer On-Off - Use to set or cancel the minute
timer. The minute timer does not start or stop
cooking.
5. OFF - Use to stop or to clear any feature previously entered except time of day and minute
timer. Press OFF to stop cooking.
6. Up and Down arrow keys - Use with the feature
or function keys to set oven temperature or to
adjust the clock or minute timer.
