It’s important to note that we upgraded to this freezer from an older Frigidaire freezer. Our previous freezer lasted for 16 years! To be honest only the seal around the door had failed and if we wanted to we could’ve just fixed that properly and I’m confident the freezer would’ve kept working. At any rate this new freezer is great and we are pleased to stay with the Frigidaire family!
