I did have to install a new plug for this (you may need a dedicated plug and should check before you install it).

The unit is sturdy, has a nice exterior finish, and keeps the freezer temperature very consistent, varying only a degree or two throughout it's cool/defrost cycles. The glass shelves are easy to move, and seem sturdy. The roomy interior is well lit, and I like that the controls are right on the outside front of the door. My last Frigidaire upright freezer lasted me 24 years. I'm hoping that this one is that reliable as well.

In searching for a new freezer, we looked and many models. The Frigidaire we selected was the optimal selection for us. Not only was it garage ready but there was a display on the exterior of the door that indicated the current status of the unit's operating temperature. The interior is well designed and was able to adequately hold a quarter beef that we purchased each year from a youth organization each year. This was a great decision we made to select this Frigidaire unit. The warranty was equal if not superior to the other brands and models we considered. It was a great value for the money.
