Our old refrigerator's ice maker started acting up and then the refrigerator just wasn't keeping cold...This refrigerator was 1 month shy of 20 years old....and never had any issues with it...so we decided to go with an almost exact model and couldn't be happier....love the ice maker and all the updated features this modern model now has....need a Good, Dependable refrigerator...check this one out!!!

Improvement from Previous Model
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This model is largely similar to, but has a few improvements from, the similar Frigidaire 26 cu ft model we bought around 20 years ago (which was still going strong, except for the ice maker). Specifically, the shelves are better supported by ridges along the side of the cabinet interior rather than flimsy plastic buttons, and the ice maker has a convenient on/off switch to prevent overfilling the bin. Although heavy, it rolls easily on a tile floor. Our old model developed rust along the bottom edge of the ice/water tray and in the front of the door below. I think it will be important to mop up any water in this tray to prevent a similar occurrence. The only feature I would like to see is a chilled water source. The water dispenser offers no real advantage, other than water filtration, to the kitchen sink tap.
